My man, I almost never go largemouth fishing without a shakyhead rigged up. 4 of my 5 biggest bass were caught on a June Bug Zoom Trick Worm. If I could only use one bait for largemouth for a year, it would be that worm on an 1/8 oz shakyhead.
In my personal experience you Want at least 2ft. visibility. I would suggest trying brighter colors like firefighter, Tablerock shad, pearl, metallic black with a chartreuse belly.hope this helps
A bait that has loud rattles and suspends or slowly sinks can helps too, it give the fish to track the bait before it is worked away from them. I’ve even caught catfish on them in muddy water
Thanks Randy for the Great Information.
I hope that get to 10k soon.

Randy, Can a jerk bait be effective in water that is muddy (less than 3ft) visibility, year round?
