- Rick can’t understand why he hasn’t heard from Amber until his father calls and says she’s having dinner with Deacon. Deacon admits to Amber he’s in love with her. During a game of spin the bottle, Rick must kiss Amanda. Brooke is determined to free Rick of Amber’s manipulation and influence. Thorne gets Brooke to forget about Rick’s problems long enough to spend a romantic evening together.

Well sharon stewart exactly the comment I would expect from you. Worse than Stephanie not missing a chance to bash on Brooke. If you think about it Amber doesn't turn out to be so good in the future. If I was Ricks mother as I am sure if you are all honest you would also not like your son with Amber and a kid which is not his at 20 yrs of age. As far as the comment about the game with the bottle I don't know what American kids do at this age but I am sure much worse but it was a logical way to get Rick to kiss Amanda.
I sometimes wonder what went on in Brad Bell’s childhood that he doesn’t realize how creepy most people would find a middle-aged woman conspiring behind her husband’s back with her son’s school friend to manipulate her son’s love life. In a way that involves encouraging the friend to take pictures of your son with another woman without his consent, violating his privacy on top of everything else. Does Brad actually think *anyone* admires Brooke for this?
I see the Writers of Utter Implausibility are back in the saddle, because that’s the only way anyone could believe street-smart Amber would fall for Deacon’s trick. Deacon is losing points with me also; if he’s so confident, why does he need tricks to get Amber?
Ah, Eric, I missed the 5 minutes you were on Stephanie’s side and not totally in Brooke’s thrall.
Apparently there _are_ quite a number of ppl who see nothing wrong with Brooke's juvenile behaviour. 💁🏽♀️
She'd basically be fine with her son sleeping around, so long as the woman has some pedigree. That's the exact example she set by sleeping thru an entire family.
And why is Eric mad at Amber? Steph's gotten over the baby, so should he.
And wasn't he going along with Rick and his plans to get Amber and the baby away from CJ?
At any rate, why he is acting like Amber went out and found Deacon.. It was his stoopid son who brought Deacon into their lives, without ever thinking of the consequences.

Deacon is actually too good for all of them. They should have brought back Kristin and had her and Deacon hook up. She likes a bad boy and I could see him being more attracted to her than mousy bridgit or whiny Amber.

It’s funny how this all thing about Rick and Amber’s lack of common interests, and Rick being in an age where he should have fun instead of being tied down with a wife and a baby - none of it was an issue during the custody battle
And Brooke keeps saying he’s trapped, maybe someone needs to inform her that he fought hard to get her back
I think back in these days the legal drinking age was 18. Someone messed that up which is why NOW it's age 21

The hypocrisy from these people astounds me. Especially Eric and most definitely Brooke. She wasn’t too happy when Stephanie interfered, but it’s OK for her to do it to her child??? . She’s no better than Stephanie right now. No better than Amber just because she’s in a family with money now. Money doesn’t buy class let me remind them of that. Brooke says Amber uses little Eric as a pawn and that’s laughable . Brooke uses her body as a pawn The way I’m talking you think I’m talking about real people and not TV characters lol. I don’t like to see the whole thing with trying to sabotage with the pictures and then getting so hyped up like they need to protect little Ricky boy.. I realize Amber was his babysitter, but that whole storyline about the babysitter was ridiculous because he didn’t even need one. Especially one so close in age.. Might not seem ideal to start a family so young but it’s not unheard of and it often works out . I started dating my husband when I was 16 and I had our first child when I was 18. That child is about to turn 30. We celebrate 33 years together when May rolls around again. so it might not seem like the norm for high school relationships to work out so just leave them let him make his own mistakes(and no that does not mean I am advocating for girls to run out and get pregnant in high school but I’m just making a point that relationships that start out when they’re young can work)
I had to edit to add that when I had commented I hadn’t finished the episode yet. Something else that I’m annoyed by is Rick being annoyed that Amber didn’t answer the phone and then feel some kind of way when he hears that she’s out enjoying herself at dinner. Even though Amber has seen him enjoying himself with his friends. She even tried to be supportive of it and give them time so he has no right. And of course this is where people will chime in and say we’ll see it’s because they’re young and they wanna have fun And maybe for some that life free of responsibility is the right thing for some. But You can have it all though. You can have friends and a life as well as a family. Just don’t be sneaky or hypocritical.
Sorry for writing a novel. I tend to do that about the show. Especially when I’m not feeling well which I’m not so this is a nice distraction for me.
