- Morgan uses her charms to take advantage of Tim. Taylor comes up with a plan to escape. Tim wonders if he should investigate the noise coming from the basement. Ridge refuses to discuss his marriage with Morgan. Brooke is determined to protect Rick from becoming more entangled with Amber.

Brooke is meddling with her son's choices like shes the stellar example of healthy relationship choices 😂 i guess the novelty of boinking with ricks half brother has worn off😂😂
She wants to be Stephanie so bad.

Well Beryl missed mainland Trinidad but Barbados Granada st. Vincent and the grenadines got the brunt of the damage so far from the videos I've seen. It's been windy since yesterday where I am .

Brooke scoffs at Amber's framed photo, but gave Steph a whole captioned album that she thought was the most thoughtful present ever. 🙄
LOL, I just commented yesterday that Amber should give Brooke a photo album. Apparently she had the same idea and it didn't help. 😂
Maybe it would have helped Amber would have flattered Brooke and would have given Brooke a photo book with her mile stones: birth, school, graduation, weddings (to Eric, Ridge, Grant, Ridge, Thorne), BeLieF, CEO Brooke... - but maybe Brooke would have seen that as an insult for her current love story with Thorne.
Glad, Ridge opened his eyes about Morgan. Although it’s much too late for that!
I don't think he's opened his eyes enough. He's still there chit chatting with her.
He should hire a liaison as a go between, just like Brooke hired Morgan.

LOL yes! There is real sense in these latest episodes that Brooke wants to become the new Stephanie (I just wrote about that in episode 3505).
@@NewYorkNick0607 When Stephanie dies and Eric and Taylor become close and Brooke find them togheter in the main bedroom of the Forrester house....oh lord Brooke was so incensed! She accused Taylor of stealing her place has head of the family. Brooke was in tear over this and Eric kick her out of the house. That was such a great moment. Deep down Brooke goal has always being to take everything from Stephanie and Taylor. In Brooke's head there can only be ONE Ms. Forrester and it has to be her.

Wasn't Brooke still in college when she was stalking Ridge and then Caroline?
She was barely out of college when she got pregnant out of wedlock first by Ridge then by Steph's husband.
She should be happy Rick's "following his heart"
She was right out of college when the show started, as was Caroline who had just met Ridge on the flight back home from school.
@@Esi-741 oh, I remembered her being in college.. The first epi she was walking home from college when some guys attacked her. And when Dave proposed she kept saying to him she'd wear his ring but decide later on about when they'd marry bc she wanted to finish school. She did work part time while in school to help with bills at home.
All during that time she used to read up as much as she could about Ridge, which included the fact his wedding got cancelled, so she went to see/stalk Caro at the hospital... And so the whole saga began.
She'd barely left school when she decided to start pursuing Ridge in earnest to marry into his family. So she really should leave Rick be, and let him "follow his heart" (or whatever body part) and marry Amber if he feels like.
Brooke had just graduated college in 1987, when she then officially met Ridge. In ep. 59 Brooke refers to catering at the Forrester party as being the *best graduation gift ever* .
Brooke has gotten engaged to Dave shortly before graduation, but in ep. 43 Brooke tells her mom that she is not ready to get married because she first wants to make a mark in the world, wants to do other things first and that Dave understands that.
I don't doubt that Brooke would have married Ridge much sooner (likely would have seen that already as such a mark), but Brooke got engaged to Ridge at New Year 1989 and ended up pregnant soon later.
@@mara4450 thanks. And that's why I said she'd barely left school when her determined pursuit of Ridge began.
She actually started having a career (went away to deliver a speech at a scientific symposium), but literally gave all that up to pursue Ridge.
So back to my point of she shod just leave her son alone. She's not one to talk. And honestly, she doesn't seem to mind him currently being with someone of a "higher social standing" in her eyes.

my take is Brooke is wanting to be like Steph and feel that she has a certain control over those she loves. Brooke seems very up-and-down as to how involved she is in her children’s lives. Because Brooke has such a busy active life on her own with business and in love interests… mainly Ridge. 😮
Don’t see Brooke as being like Stephanie, even though she has experienced. what it is like to be on the wrong side of her. I don’t see Amber as being like Brooke at all. Amber is much more of an open fighter than Brooke ever was. 🤷♀️
Brooke’s biggest support other than her family has always been the Forrester men. Brooke has had a long Time friendship with Thorne, with Ridge, with Eric much to Steph’s disapproval and frustration. 😖
Morgan’s lips seem even bigger than usual.

Getting that food from the floor (tied up) would not have been much better than getting the food from that place across the room. And opening the bottle would not have helped if Morgan then would not have held it to Taylor's mouth but might have left it on the floor.
None of this makes sense. And Taylor's escape plan had me confused too. If she wanted to use the element of surprise, why did she sit in the chair instead of hide behind the door when Morgan walked in? And why did she say "I'll strangIe her with my bare hands if I have to" when she actually had a rope?

Such foolishness this whole Morgan storyline. It made no sense in the beginning and it’s making far less sense now. What a waste of time and talent. Stephanie has been the only one to make sense in this whole storyline. 🥴
So Rick busted up Amber’s wedding and offered up the family’s fortune just to turn into a high schooler lol
Ric should tell Brooke his marriage with Amber could help bring together the families together and resolve their issues like Brooke’s marriage did her and Steph and see how she reacts.
And then Amber could take her to therapy to fix their relationship.
I’m not condoning Tim’s behavior but I feel sorry for him. Obviously he’s not a traditionally handsome dude but Morgan is being so manipulative by playing with Tim’s insecurities. Rule number 1 Morgan, never mess with men who aren’t heartthrobs.
I love it when Ridge puts her in her place many times.

There was nothing to hurt. She left her brain back in Season 7.

And given what happened before, why didn't Taylor put on a helmet before calling Morgan down there? There was a white one _right there_ on a shelf.
I am trying to feel sympathy for Taylor, since she is Iocked in the basement and all, but her lack of intelligence is making it difficult. Like her stating that she would "strangIe Morgan with her bare hands if she had to", and then not making use of the rope, instead choosing a flashlight as her we a pon of choice (to throw at Morgan, not to shine the light in her face which would have been more sensible). I have seen octopuses with better problem solving skills.
Looking back to this episode I was certain that weapon Taylor had would've knocked Morgan out

Serious question, does anyone know how many more episodes of this “Taylor trapped in the basement” farce we have left? I am so very very tired of hearing Taylor scream, watching Morgan beat her up, wash, rinse, repeat.
Great mom Morgan is - she has a child for two days or so and is already dumping her on a strange man.
All I keep saying is "Sheila would never"..
I, too, am tired of hearing Taylor scream down the place. Bc all she had to do was grab her child and run out of Morgan's house the first time...

@@TriniT21Well, I’ve always thought Morgan had no actual interest in kids and just wanted a child of Ridge’s as a pathway back to Ridge, so that tracks. Notice how when she first captures Taylor, the *first* thing she does when Taylor tries to escape is threaten Steffy.

Brooke _just_ had a "breakthrough" with Stephanie, and then channeIs these warm and fuzzy feelings into _taking back_ the blessing she gave Rick and Amber just a few months ago. Apparently she wants acceptance for herself but doesn't want to give it to others.
And as horrible a character as Morgan is, I can't even feel sympathy for Taylor because of her screaming, her helplessness, and her poor planning (Taylor had a great opportunity to escape and she still faiIed - why didn't she wait by the door instead of just sitting in the chair when Morgan walked in? Why didn't she use the rope, or the chair, as a we ap on?). She had a whole fallout shelter of useful objects, and that was the best she could do? She clearly never watched MacGyver.
Ridge and Stephanie are wearing matching outfits. We know who he's truly in love with. 😇

It’s becoming clear that the writers are trying to play this storyline for laughs - Tim in the leopard robe, the reference previously to “Young and Restless”, the badly staged fight between Morgan and Taylor. It’s all parody. We’re apparently supposed to get a kick out of this, but it has the opposite effect, it makes us deeply frustrated because this is a series of knockoffs of better plotted storylines, better acted and more rewarding. Who isn’t just waiting for this to end?
Definitely waiting for it to end. Really can’t watch anymore of it. It is such a ridiculous storyline. 🤨
Taylor's wardrobe handlers. Their jobs couldn't have been any easier!
Seeing Taylor in that fallout shelter, once she was free from the chair, there were a hundred better ways for her to escape than to just sit down in her chair, far away from the doorway, and wait for Morgan, with nothing but a _flashlight_ to defend herself with.
She could have waited for Morgan by the door, using the chair as a shieId, and pushed her way out the moment the door opened. She could have stood on the desk and thrown something at Morgan. She could have balanced something large and heavy against the door so that it would fall into the door opening when Morgan opened it, preventing her from closing it again.
She could have _used the _*_radio_*_ on the desk._ 🙄
(Or better yet, she could have just taken Steffy and run when she had the chance, rather than wait for Steffy to go get her doll.)
It's so frustrating. The only way they can keep Morgan in control of this storyline is to write the other characters as complete idiots.

Morgan has no clue how to be a mother to Steffy, she doesn't know what to do with Taylor in the basement, and she can't do her job at Forrester either. And her entire plot depends on her telling Tim to _"stay away from the basement because I say so!"_ and expecting him to do as he is told.
It makes me nostalgic for the "Not Sheila" days, when Sheila would go about her business as usual at Forrester and then come home to James in the Houdini dungeon.
The only fun part of this storyline is seeing Taylor in the fallout shelter and trying to invent 10 ways MacGyver would have escaped.
4:48 Miss Logan asks Thorne what he was thinking about at age 20 in college. Certainly not marrying his future stepmother, who when she was 20 was going to The Valley Mall buying cheap perfume and stealing acid wash jeans from Fashion Bug.
