I'm surprised that Brooke didn't hear about Steph's decision to send one of her staff on paid leave at an apparently super busy time, and hit her the "I'm the CEO" line for making such a decision without consulting her lol
Steph just suggested flying Becky to new York to find some treatment for her.
Everybody keeps talking about how harsh Steph is, but NOBODY appreciates how totally generous Steph actually is.
I was just going to comment this. Stephanie is at times described by characters (namely Sally and Brooke) and show viewers alike, as an upper crust snob who looks down on those of lesser social standing, but it isn’t true!
And she was generous/compassionate with Becky's salary too!
@@Esi-741 It always galled me how the Logan brats would talk about Stephanie that way when she let their s trumpet sister live rent free in her Beverly Hills home _with_ access to her maid!

@@NewYorkNick0607 listen.. The fact that Steph didn't pick up Brooke and her ratty suitcase out her house and dump them both at the side of the road from the day she moved in... Steph is a much better lady than I. Brooke wasn't making it past my front door.. I don't care who invited her in.
It isn't that she's upper crust snooty... It's that she can suss out bad ppl and has no tolerance for them. And somehow it escapes the entitled Logans that Steph didn't dislike them bc they were poor.. She didn't appreciate their poor manners and them trying to break up her own family.
While Macy is readying the duck, Brooke is ready to...something that rhymes with duck.
Brooke didn't do ANYTHING wrong in this episode!! Thorne chose to stay!!

When this aired the first time, I was too young to fully realize how much effort Macy really put into this dinner, and how absolutely unspeakable Thorne's actions here are. She told him she would be making him a special dinner, and still he just calls her and tells her he "has" to work late - even though he actually didn't have to. Brooke _(Brooke!)_ told him he could go home. But Thorne apparently didn't want to leave Brooke working alone in the office all night - even though he's perfectly willing to leave _Macy_ alone at home all night with her duck.
Macy deserved so much better then him.
I felt sorry for Macy but i wonder if Brooke might have been playing a game with Thorne by telling him he could go home and acting like she's accepted he's married and get Thorne to wonder if a 9-5 job with a wife waiting for him at home is the kind of life he wants or would he rather have a fun life with Brooke?
_This_ is what should've gotten him the death penalty.

Funny thing is, the writers seem to want Brooke to look more sympathetic so we will root for her and Thorne, but in doing so they are making Thorne look absolutely _terrible._
I don't fault Thorne that he kept working despite Brooke's offer. He is the head of shipping (and when he went home, he took the shipping schedule home, causing Brooke to call him when she was looking for it) and the one responsible in the end for his department. TRIDGE recently had to _sacrifice_ , so that Ridge could deal with the Paris mess. But Thorne was so wrong in letting Macy hope (I will be back at 6pm, keep the food warm), when he should have been aware that he might need the whole night to make that deadline (shipping in the morning).
Steph is so quick to forgive Amber. She could never with Brooke 🙃 6:37

I never thought the Morocco-storyline could be topped, but this absurd Morgan story is ridiculous!
5 minutes are the standard for friendship and falling in love with someone in this show.

Also, I cannot stand all the rewriting of history they have had to do to make this storyline happen. And they didn't have to do that since there were so many alternative ways this could have been written

Usually all those men really think they are with strong women who can endure stress and Brooke. And also they think Brooke needs some support because she, poor Brooke , is alone. But there is a limit.

Poor Macy and Becky I hate how they wrote them both off. Thorne knew his wife was making him a big dinner and once again lets her down. Then we have Becky who was just reunited with her baby, has a good job and a loving boyfriend and then the writers take it all away.
Yes, we have two heartbreaking storylines at once. And the worst part of it is that they both involve CJ so that he loses first his wife and then his sister _the very next soap day._ He literally comes home from Becky's funeral to the news of Macy's death.
Thorne has always been a fool when it comes to Macy.
The biggest fool he will be together with Brooke LOWgan.

*RECAP FOR EPISODE 3280*
Morgan tells Taylor that she wants to get pregnant, but does not want a husband. She refuses to waste time waiting for Mr. Right. Taylor doesn't like the idea of Morgan finding some random guy at a bar to father her baby out of wedlock. Taylor has another idea. She suggests artificial insemination using a donor from a sperm bank. Once Taylor leaves, Morgan comments that the right man for her is definitely out there, but he's married to Taylor. Becky explains to Amber and Stephanie that she feels as if her life is just beginning, and she wouldn't be anywhere if not for Amber. Stephanie tells Becky that she's concerned about her and sends her home to get some rest. Stephanie points out to Amber that she can't keep Becky's condition a secret from her indefinitely, but expresses her respect and admiration for what Amber's trying to do for her cousin. Macy tells Kimberly to forget about the overheard phone call because she's not going to let Brooke come between her and Thorne. Macy goes all out preparing a romantic dinner for two. Thorne calls to say that he's going to be late because he and Brooke have a lot of work to finish.

Extensions. There’s no way her hair grew that fast. It was shoulder length when they were in Venice

I always thought macy would look great with long hair/no bangs, but now that she finally did it, it's not working. I'm thinking it might be the color more so than the style, but I'm not sure. She looked her best with the shoulder length golden brown hair with side bangs from season 8 I think.
