5:47 You might consider using Highlight Tone Priority. You'll find it in your Custom Functions menu. When you select it, the camera will set the exposure for you in such a way that the highlights don't get blown out.
I just grabbed a 6D from Marketplace for $250 and one of these lenses that has the "lens creep" issue real bad. It's a zero dollar fix if you know how to take one apar, which I do. Add a Walmart SD card and I'm into it for under $300 and it kicks butt..
I like your photos. It`s nice to see someone who doesn`t waffle on about technical garbage.
Thank you, the lens on that camera is a pretty sweet deal, you can find them under 150 bucks all over the place these days.

Highlight Tone Priority...thank you for that, I shall give it a go.
i have same setup, still good for casual photography
and affordable for most, an R3 or R5 is quite pricey
Seems to be a good lens
I also have a 6D and I was on the hunt for a all rounder
Ordered one online, can’t wait for it to arrive
A great bang for the buck lens.
