Love this. I’m having tension issues and it never comes out well this video gave me some more things to try. First thing is to use a spool instead of the one on the machine.
Thank you SO much for this video. I just opened my box last night and I was so excited to get started, but I could not figure out how to make a bobbin. I watched this video and it turned out perfectly!
I watched several of your videos before buying the 1900 (first machine). I always wondered why you buy bobbins when you have a winder. Now I know. I’m about to buy a few boxes myself, I hate having to wind these things lol. Thanks for all the helpful videos
Hi Bob. The only time I do my own bobbins is when I need the thread to be the same color. Buying the pre-wound bobbins makes life so make easier. And they last longer too. Enjoy your machine!
Hi Donna. I like Simthread and Madeira. I do use pre-wound bobbins. I recommend them. I have the items I use linked in my Amazon Storefront. You should see it in the video description.
i have a se1900 and i ran out of bobbin thread mid-design. i need to wind another bobbin, and the instructions online say i can do this with the embroidery unit attached but the presser foot won't work when the unit is attached. neither will the start/stop button. any ideas on how to do this while keeping the place i had in the design i was doing? does this make sense?
Hi Jamie. Yes I know exactly what you are talking about. Unfortunately you can only wind another bobbin when the machine is in sewing mode. I recommend getting pre-wound bobbins. This way you always have a box of bobbins ready. Here is the link to the ones I use: amzn.to/2YELsOg. Now if you don't have a bobbin ready and need to wind one up. I would do is write down the stitch number of where you are in the embroidering. This way when you are ready to embroidery you can fast forward to the last stitch.
You're not going to believe this. I bought a SE1900 for $250!!! And the condition is perfect. I think the person who returned it, never seen any of your videos so they gave up. Their lose my gain!
You're such a great teacher. Thanks so much for all these videos!
Glad you like them!

What is your favorite sewing thread? So you can use the prewound bobbins for both the sewing and embroidery ?

How do we find your links in the Amazon...?
How do you adjust the tension on the bobbin to keep it from showing on top?
Hi Cristy. I have a video on the channel on how to fix the tension on the machine. Here is the link:ruclips.net/video/Y_-pusdMzBc/видео.html
