Absolutely, I agree with other comments that your videos are a blessing. I just bought the SE 1900 and your explanations and demonstrations are life savers. I was having such a hard time reading the tiny print in the manuals. Besides, I am more of a visual person and learn better that way. You cover everything in such great detail and zoom in so we can see. Thank you so very much! >3 P.S. Plus you explain and show things that aren't covered anywhere else.
Thank you so very very much for this video. I just received my brand new SE1900, and there are sooooooooo many videos out there. The problem is they say they are tutorials, and they go off on a tangent about something else. Yours is the first one I found that is actually teaching about the sewing machine itself. So, thank you so very much. You did a great job.
My sweet husband just bought me this new SE1900 machine at a store in Portland, OR. New in box, never used. I am learning a lot from your videos on how to use this machine. Thank you so much for your videos! You are a true Blessing!
Hi Cindy. So glad to hear that the videos are helping! You are going to love the machine. Happy Sewing and Embroidering! If you ever need help just reach out. We have a Facebook Group. You are welcome to join. Check the video descriptions for details.
Excellent video!!!Never knew about highlighting the back stitching and auto cut buttons...and I never made a buttonhole. You made it look easy..Thank you so much for spending your time teaching us! Can’t wait to learn more....be safe!
Thank you Jeanette, this was helpful and so well done. I need to buy buttonhole foot A! It works so well. Also I had no idea I should close the door when not embroidering!
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts No, I meant close the little door to the embroidery unit when sewing like you pointed out. LOL You're too cute. I found the foot in my box on the back! I never noticed it there. My goodness! That's fantastic. You are beyond helpful and a great teacher.
I’ve been trying to learn my custom stitch feature for years on my various machines. Even bought a book years ago but it only had designs I didn’t like mostly in them😞 I hope that you will explore this feature in the very near future 🥳 Thanks 😊
wonderful video, thank you so much for taking the time in demonstrating, I'm about to embark on my first embroider sewing machine Brother SE1900, look forward to your other videos.. again BIG Thank you!
I just opened my box!!! The many manuals of operation are in VERY tiny print (buy a magnifying glass), BUT YOUR videos help a lot!! I’m so excited. And I didn’t realize the thread cutter came with this model. Somebody pinch me! ALSO, I don’t have to pull up the bobbin thread myself?? Soooo cool! And that button holer attachment looks easy peasy. Thanks for the tip about pre-wound bobbins. Ordering today. Question: can I use embroidery thread to simply sew with?? AND, when embroidering, do you just use white bobbin thread or the same colors as the embroidery image? Can you just move in with me for a week?????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi Jean. So happy to hear that the videos are helping you! I hope you can join us on Embroidery Happy Hour. It’s a great place to ask questions and learn. As for the thread. You can sew with it but I recommend using sewing thread for the basic white and black colors.
The thank you for your help your awesome I was wondering what you recommend for the best embroidery software for this machine se1900 I purchased brother stitch express is that a good choice
Since I only use a MAC I choose Embrillance. I’m pretty happy with it. I have a link in the video description. There is a free version on their site if you want to check it out.
Hi Wanda, Check to make sure that the tab I pulled down to make the buttonhole is ALL the way up. If this tab is down it will effect the needle feeder.
I wanted to let you know that I bought the magnetic hoop 5x7 size and it works great. Our hoop is a sa444. The same as the pe800. I thought you would want to know. It is available for a 4x4 and a 5x7 for us..have a great day. Oh I got it off amazon.
HI Donna. Some software can provide recommendations. The tension is set on the machine but you will have to adjust it sometimes depending on your project.
Great video, thank you!! I’m trying to see a face mask/scarf. But, I’m using nylon and it keeps bunching up, can you please help me with that? Thanks so much 😁.
Hi, do you or could you possibly make a video on sewing on buttons please? I have the brother se1900 and I've read the manual as a guide but I am more of a visually to fully understand and do everything correctly.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts thank you so much! My boyfriend and I recently bought the machine and we've been watching all your videos to learn everything we can.
Ive had it happen when the buttonhole sewing stopped in the middle of doing the buttonhole sewing. And would not start. Ive heard do not get the button foot near a seam
I am unable to get screen 2 ,3, 8, and 10 to work. Haven’t been able to get any answers. Would appreciate any help. Purchased the machine about 1 years ago ago but due to an illness I haven’t used it much until now. Need to get the blanket stitch to work. I’ve called several dealers and no one has answers.
Jeanette how can i position my needle left right or center? For my life i tried everything and needle doesnt change..normaly i should follow the screen but nope it doesnt. I always like to center my needle..thank you in advance.
The purpose of the knee lever is only to lift the press foot so your hand are free to place the fabric on the machine. You can start the machine to sew by using the presser foot or pushing the start button.
I am having problems with my sewing machine. Every time I try to change to a different stitch, it tells me to change my needle plate. I can sew fine with it, as long as I only use a straight stitch, but if I try to change the stitch or try to do any type of embroidery, I get that error message. What am I doing wrong?
Hey I've watched this video atleast 4 times, when I embroider there's no issue but when I try to sew I put down the pressure foot it clamps the fabric so when I start to sew I have push the fabric through other wise it'll just stitch one spot does this problem sound familiar? For instance when you sewed the fabric together in this video it doesn't appear that your presser foot is like a clamp.. Any ideas?
I actually just figured it out on the back side of the machine there a switch you have to turn it to the right! Thanks for all the videos you've posted!!!!!!!

For the bobbin. I use white or black. If the back of the item matters then I will make a bobbin of the same color for the project.

Hi Kris! Thanks! I didn't know that it also came in the 4x4 size as well. Need to post this info on our Facebook Embroidery group!!!
may i ask how much did that hoop cost, I hear they are expensive..Is it worth the cash?
@@myronmitchell1791 yes it is definitely worth buying. I think I paid $60 ish off amazon
The small white seam ripper the came with the machine, is used to cut through the buttonhole. It is a buttonhole cutter.
Hi Jeanette do the embroidery pieces come with the machine also ! Or you of to buy ie separate .
Hi Norma. The embroidery foot does come with the machine.
Thanks again for the video. I had to post a new comment cause of spam replies to your video. Keep the videos coming. 🙏🙏🙏
You got it!
Gracias 🙏🏾 I’m buying this machine soon.
You are going to LOVE it! It's really a great machine!
does this model tell you which needle to use with a certain fabric? and what tension to use?
HI Donna. Some software can provide recommendations. The tension is set on the machine but you will have to adjust it sometimes depending on your project.
Hello. love learning with you, is the yellow Fonts/screen below the pattern stitches, for embroidery?
Hi Sylviah, Yes. Once you have the embroidering bed inserted on the machine. You will see the patterns and fonts that are available to you.
Could you make jeans with this given you have the right size needle?
Hi Angelina. For Denim it is recommended to use a 75/11 sharp needle.
Ok thanks! I haven’t gone thru all your videos yet, did you do one on how to change the needle?
@@angelinabennett I can make one.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts can’t wait!

Hi could you show a tutorial for the ABC stitches with out using the embroidery but just the sewing part?
Hi Connie. Thanks for asking. I will be filming this today and post on the channel. I can definitely do this.
Great video, thank you!! I’m trying to see a face mask/scarf. But, I’m using nylon and it keeps bunching up, can you please help me with that? Thanks so much 😁.
Make sure you use the right stabilizer with some weight on it. If it's light weight it will bunch up.

Is it possible to sew a straight stitch while the embroidery table is attached ?
No. You will need to remove the embroidery bed to use the sewing features.
Thanks for this video. I have this machine and I’m afraid of the sewing part

I would contact a repair shop.
Does the buttonhole foot work around seams that are close by
It can. It would depend on the size of the button and the style of button hole you select.
Could you tell me which buttonhole for what size button
How would you repair a tear in your jeans at the knee?
I would create a patch and put it over the tear.
