thank you so much for this video. unfortunately our tailor was unable to make it today and this video helped me figure out how to hem the bottom of some dress pants on my own! thank you!
If you match the thread color to the fabric your blind hem will not be seen so much on the front. Also you need to unfold it, both sides you showed are the back. The front is the middle part when you unfold. Think of it like when you're sewing a garment straight stitch seam, you need to unfold to see the seam is hidden. The stitches are on the back of the garment. This hem is often used for pants. I know it's confusing. It took me time and practice to figure it out too. You do good videos. Thanks.
It is a great machine, and I have over fifty years of sewing on many of the top of the line machines. I thank you for these videos.
You are so welcome!
Such helpful information. Literally could not find this anywhere else on the internet.
Thanks! Glad you found the video helpful. Enjoy your machine!
Open the whole piece up and iron. Then you’ll see the blind hem. It’s a real time saver 😊

Glad you like them!
I believe you had the fold upside down. When you infold the flap you see no stitching.
Can you please show how to sew freeform on this SE1900 , I mean how can I turn my fabric around when sewing on this machine … I can’t figure it out 😢
You can use a quilting foot. I’ll do a video on this!
Do you know if there is a rolled hem presser foot that works on the se1900?
