I've learned to change my needles when sewing different thicknesss of thread to change often. I always trace on my embroidery machine, & change that needle more often. Thanks Jeanette for all of your knowledge!!!!

I change my needle all the time on my Luminaire. Needles are not that expensive in the scheme of things. I was having problems with some metallic thread with 80/12 needles, changed to 90/14 and everything corrected. Size is important too. Thank you so much for this You Tube. Very good advice!

The seam ripper part comes out of your fancy one so you can change it when it gets dull

I think it' too lose thou. It easily falls out. I guess I will have to live with it and that's ok. I still love the look.

@ instead of gluing put a little strip of duct tape around it to make it fit tighter

I hate the brotheread and sim thread. I bought all the colors of Madeira thread in batches over a few months when I started embroidering. I bought the drawers for the thread and filled it over time. I also use Floriani thread and love it as well.

Love the Maderia and the Floriani as well. I still use the Brotheread and Simthread at times. But they are not my favorite. I will be replacing the colors as I use them with either Maderia and/or Floriani. I love their quality.

Hi Jeanette, How do you keep your room clean from dust. I have a question, I noticed that several people leave their embroidery thread exposed in the room, does the thread become weaker with leaving it exposed.

Hi. The room is cleaned out every day after work. The embroidery thread holds up well. I never had an issue with them.
