    I was just on the Brother website and looking at the specs for this machine and it says it does NOT have the applique creation function, but I know I've seen another video of it being done, and now yours. THANK you for posting this because I was starting to reconsider, but now I'm going to go ahead with the purchase.

      The Brother SE1900 is a embroidery machine and it it does applique designs. They are probability saying that you need to organize the steps using a program like Embrilliance.

      Hi! This was my first embroidery machine, and I still love it. It's user-friendly, and this applies to all Brother single needles. I also will suggest watching lots of RUclips tutorials on it. That is how I learned how to use it. When I first decided to get this machine, I watched a channel that helped me a lot, Boricua Sewing and Crafts. She has beginner tutorials on this machine. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel 😊.

    Can you please tell me needle no. ? I have also se 1900 i just wonder file design can tell you when you need to cut fabric or place fabric ? Also please can you tell me you put any sticky spray bottom of the fabric ? I am sorry too many questions but i found you i am happy

    • @JLCCrafts
      @JLCCrafts  2 года назад

      Depending on the digitizing the file usually it will stitch the outline first and then you place the fabric in place and the machine will do the tack down stitch to secure the fabric in place. If you have a software like Embrilliance you can follow the stitch order. I you don't the machine will let you know the steps on the machine screen. I will do a tutorial to show the the process 😊. I spray temporary spray adhesive on the stabilizer when I float the garment not on the fabric.

    Hi Crafty , I have another question. How do I do the applique is it on my setting on my machine? What is the difference between applique ans embroidery

    • @JLCCrafts
      @JLCCrafts  2 года назад

      The file is designed to stop when is time to place the fabric for the applique. Applique is when you use fabric to the embroidery design. There are designs with applique and designs without applique. I have a couple of videos that explain how to embroider with applique.

    Asking question that has to do with se1900 because just order my first embroidery machine. So to my question when choosing a bobbin do I pick a color that goes good with all the colors in my project or do I just use a black or white ? No one really talks about the bobbin just explains colors in project picture.

    • @JLCCrafts
      @JLCCrafts  2 года назад +1

      For the majority of embroidery work we use white thread. If you are working on a towel or something that you can see the back of the stitching the you can match the bobbin thread but that is optional.

    Hola....nice video and very simple on a simple machine which is what I have....I have a few questions.....how do you get it to go exactly over using the same pattern after you've sewed once, then put down the material and go over again exactly over the same pattern with material? Is there a repeat on our machines? I have a babylock aventura 2? Do we have to purchase an applique pattern? Can you please help???

    • @JLCCrafts
      @JLCCrafts  3 года назад +1

      Yes, you need to get a design file and once you transfer the file to the machine it will do it. I have Embrilliance essential software and I use it to work on my designs. I can do a video on how to do it with Embrilliance essential. Also there are other videos on RUclips that can help you. 🙂
