What are your thoughts about the vinyl showing on the satin stitch line. Especially the blue vinyl? Have you thought about tearing the vinyl after the tack down stitch?
Beautiful work! I love this process! When I first saw this being done I thought this was a great way to jazz up unwanted vinyl that I bought a while ago😊
Oh my goodness!!!!! Loved this very video. What size of needle did you use for your embroidery? Do you have to use a heat press? Would an iron work and what setting?
Hi Katrina, I’m new to your channel. ❤❤❤ your Energy & Fire you bring! So refreshing. Would love to see how Puff HTV would look with embroidery …. Talk about next level. 😊can’t wait to see what you bring next week. Keep inspiring us to get out of our comfort zones and try new things. Stay Strong, keep inspiring! It’s Obvious that you love creating you are a Beautiful Soul and it shows in your creations! So happy I found your videos. Thanks so much.
Amazing! Both are beautiful. I did my first Mama sweater last week, using double flex. My htv didn’t tear off, needed to be cut. My patterns coverstitch, was a zigzag instead of a satin stitch. Think that might be te problem.
Your tutorials are awesome! I have a question that I have been struggling with. When I tried this, the glitter edges did not seem as clean. Is it better to rip away before the final satin stitch is applied like right after the zigzag and then the satin stitch will cover any lefterover pieces?
@@verawooten1107 yes definitely rip away before the satin Stitch you will get a cleaner finish always. Just like if you were using another material you would cut away first
Those look so good. Are you able to tear away the glitter after the placement stitch to avoid any possible htv peeking out? Or would that just end up ripping off the entire design since that is just a running stitch? Thanks for the content. I’m just learning so I’m watching as much as I can to boost my confidence to learn and take on new projects.
Grateful for this video. Does all glitter vinyl tear away? or is there a certain one? I've gone to the Atlanta Vinyl site but I don't see any comments about the vinyl being tear away.
I would double up the tack down stitch and rip before the satin. It looks like the glitter is showing in your satin stitch. I will give it a try today.
I’m having the same issue.. I did trim before the satin stitch and it still showed the gaps and glitter through the stitches… not sure how to fix. I have a brother pe900 , did double cutaway too. Someone said the htv was too thick but I don’t think that’s the case. Any help is appreciated
omg I thought you were gonna have to cut away all the glitter appliq but when i saw you tear it all I was like 😲 that really is amazing! You said you were going to move your machine to the garage, I dont know much about American garages but wont condensation be an issue to the machine? just curious
How do i get the font , do i use embrilliance essentials , to organize the words, please can someone help me , am new to applique. Thank you. I need a lot of help.
Hi, can you please help. I have a design same like you stitch but my client wants these designs on patches not on a direct stitch on shirts. Can you please let me know it is possible to put these designs on a heat press?
I love this but the htv glitter thing don’t like me … I have a single needle machine brother pe900 and tried to do that MAMA on a 5x12 I get gaps in the stitching my glitter was white and the tshirt was blue. Someone said to trim the htv after the first stitch and I still got the gaps. Not sure how to troubleshoot.. any help pls would be appreciated.. thank you
Did you do a split design for when you have to move your hoop to the other knotches? And everyone is different when it comes to removing the vinyl but I have tried both ways and I find it’s easier to remove the vinyl after the satin stitch.
I’m a single mama of 5 I’m struggling financially and want to spread the gospel can you send me some t shirts like this please I realize that wearing Pray or Team Jesus Or can I pray for you really opens up conversations please let me know I would love some and when I get the chance I will return the favor

Regular HTV won’t tear just the glitter I believe
I was using glitter indeed.
Love doing this on the same machine but the amount of glitter that build up on every is crazy lol

Where can I find the hooping station?
Hi katrina could I do this on a PE800 embroidery machine
I would double up the tack down stitch and rip before the satin. It looks like the glitter is showing in your satin stitch. I will give it a try today.

I always rip my vinyl away after the satin stitch it’s easier to me and I pull away from my design which seems to work better for me

No it’s actually easier to remove the glitter after doing the satin stitch
New subscriber here just based on this video. May I ask the font you used. I love your design?
What was the stabilizer you put over the cutaway?
Have you tried Easy Patch Tear Away Embroidery Material? I'm thinking about trying it for easier applique
Cloud backing? Help me find the link for this.
Thanks for this -can I ask what font or design this is?

Can you use the mighty hoops with the one needle pe800 machine
