@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Hi, sorry I didn't write that question out right. I meant could you tell me about or where you got the cute pad/holder you have underneath your machine :) with the handy pockets in it?
Hi Ingrid. The machine doesn't have any appliqué designs installed. I have a video I named Applique 101 which will show you how to use Appliques. Unfortunately you will need to purchase a design. The machines doesn't come with any. The designs on the machine are all just embroidery files.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts , I am new to your group & I Asked the question about a good video on appliqué . Someone said your RUclips channel, never understood it until today when I watched your video. Will differently watch on Friday

I would like to try Free motion applique on my se 1900. Do you have a link for the right foot to purchase? I need the free motion open toe quilting foot for my se 1900.
I know this video is a little old, so idk if you’ll answer this question. i seen another video of someone changing their tension, do you recommend doing that?
Hi IDemiabk! I only touch my tension when I am having issues with the stitches. I don't mess with it to do applique. Here is a video I did on how to fix tension issues with the machine: ruclips.net/video/Y_-pusdMzBc/видео.html
Oh never mind I stopped being lazy and started reading manual. Lol got my answer. But thanks because watching your videos and live chat has helped me conquer my fear of using my machine. 🙃

Thank you. Great instructions. So cute and looks not to difficult. Also can you tell me about why you use the fabric under your machine?
Hi Sylviah. You can use anything you like. I prefer the fabric for this item because I like the print.

Hi Valerie. You can use the free version to start but eventually you will want to upgrade so you have more options.

Hello Jeanette, what type of stabilizer to use or do I use felt?
Hi Betty. For fabric that stretchs I use a cut-away stabilizer. I only use felt when I am embroidering sample pieces.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts thanks for replying so soon. I love watching your tutorials because you are the best teacher. Thanks again
Would you do this the same way on a shirt?
Hi Carol! Yes you would.
What do you save the file as? This is confusing, please reply Jeannette.
You should save your file as a PES. Brother machines only read PES format.
Thank you .
Which embrilliance software do you have?
Hi Irene. I have the entire suite. It's best to start with Essentials and then get the modules as you need them.
