How would I do this if I stay with him for long periods of time and he just doesn't go? I do have to leave eventually to do other thing. I am trying to get mine to go in a tub of warm water but of my tegus only one dose that. The others I let them soak and 30 minutes later they haven't pooped. How do you initially get them to poop in there carrying them in the bathroom?

i noticed my skink will only poop when he comes out of his burrow/hide, so before i ever take mine out of the enclosure i would pull him out of hiding and then he would just poop right after that.

Mine isn't trained but she never poops in her enclosure it's every time I take her out so maybe I should put her in a specific spot

Maybe they just don't want their enclosure to smell, or the temperture change of leaving the enclosure could stimulate them to go?

umm shes currently around 1-2 yrs old took about 2-3 months for her to recognize me and seek me for attention.
