They have won 3 in a row. Ulster 22-12. Edinburgh 23-13. Zebre 47-3. Both Ulster and Edinburgh were ranked top 8 in current URC when they played Sharks. Edinburgh have flown to SA 2 weeks ago, returned to Europe and are now flying back to SA. So they may have some travel fatigue due to losing out on recovery. This should benefit the Sharks. However, typically when teams play each other twice in short time the scores are closer the 2nd time. That being said, the Sharks could have put 35 on Edinburgh last time and Edinburgh were lucky to get away with a 10 point loss.
Not true. Attendance has been great this year. If you are going to be negative (I am being kind with that word), at least be correct with the stats. Attendance records have been broken this year. Much better than what Super Rugby had at the end before Covid. In other words, your opinion doesn't match the numbers. Also, don't count the 1:30 pm games in your attendance assessment. That is simply poor scheduling...those guys in Europe organising matches during high-school rugby makes no sense since the kids and their families can't come.
The atmosphere at most Champions' Cup games and some URC games is absolutely feral. Massive step up from Super Rugby in terms of crowd engagement. No hostile crowds at all in Super Rugby.

Pre covid I knew more than a few people that followed super rugby religiously.(myself included) Those same people now maybe watch a game here and there mostly local derby's and maybe the finals. Go ask the casual rugby fan who Exeter is and won't have a clue.

The URC, champions cup and challenge cup are all boring. Empty stadiums, no rivalries for our local teams other than internal ones. Nobody cares.
