FYI Defiler: Dark swarm: Stops all ranged attacks, except splash and spells. Melee works too. The way it's programmed is that units miss and shoot the floor. Plague: Does 300 health damage, but can't kill. Stops on 1 HP. Consume: Eats any ground unit to regain 50 energy. 1 Zergling gives the same amount as an Ultralisk. Try to not eat Ultralisks Queen Spawn Broodling: Very costly spell that lets you OHKO any unit that is "alive" like a pilot. Imagine it working on Aliens logic, it needs to eat flesh to hatch. Ensnare: Fungal except it does no damage, just slows and reduces RoF. Parasite: Perma vision through the unit, unless there's a Medic with Restoration.
Spawn Broodlings worked on biological and mechanical ground units, but not on Archons/Dark Archons and robotic units like the Probe and Reaver (unless that was changed in the SC2 mod)
Zerglings looked more like dinosaurs than in starcraft 2 they are more like overgrown locusts while the tech structures seem more alive than in starcraft 1
13:15 I'm learning this for the first time, and this was a terrible change. If they were going to change it to an ability, at least make it cloak everything, including the Mothership itself. The Mothership needed a buff, not a nerf. I checked the list of changes, and they basically turned the Mothership into a weaker Arbiter (which it already was), but even more so now. It needed a new ability, something to differentiate it from the Arbiter, not make it just a weaker Arbiter.
That's what I'm saying man! The mothership was a cool novelty, a one of a kind unit, and they nerfed it lol. Now there really isn't much of a reason to build one, way too expensive for what it does and it's an easy target
@@ElleixGaming Agreed. They always struggled balancing the Mothership, it was supposed to be a super unit, but the problem was (in the spirit of asymmetry), they didn't give one to Terran and Zerg. So the solution is simple, just give Terran and Zerg new super units. Give Terran the Odin unit, and give Zerg the Leviathan unit. Then they can buff the Mothership and make it powerful like it was always supposed to be. Problem solved.

Balance work is being done, but from what it seems like, SC2 tends to be quite strong against brood war. They have strong early harass, which brood war has little to defend against, and are typically a lot more mobile throughout the game (warp prisims, medivacs, creep). In the case of terran and protoss tech trees and infrastructure are also a lot handier, you don't have observatories, you get warp gate and reactors, it's a good time. That being said, brood war has utterly absurd spellcasters, which counts for a lot. All in all, SC2 has a big advantage because people know how its units works and are best used, SC1 faction players either aren't used to the units or aren't used to the engine, so are quite behind on skill.
What up what up! Yeah regarding the general consensus as others have said, the early game seems to favor SC2, although a SC1 SCV rush could be lethal lmao I wanna try it
@@Santisima_Trinidad It's worth noting that a lot of SC1 players in Korea, and in general, have played StarCraft 2 on and off, and the most successful players in this mod are the ones that play both games, and understand what everything can do. There's several BW players that have cleaned house against SC2 players, because they have a good amount of experience in both games.

I absolutely love this blizzard should do something with this. They could really make an expansion like this like a time warp or something it would be freaking awesome, but I would rather be honest with you. I think it would be better on the old old engine. I just don’t like the engine it’s OK but it’s too fast. You start off with 14 workers right off the bat you’re literally throwing right into the fight instantly I think it’s better to build up have time to look around and it just seems like when your own star one it’s a slower more thought out more strategic. I see a lot of chaos in StarCraft too. look at the professional matches Warren a lot more multitasking micro. You can literally have a base and get lost in your maps actually look different. Where is in StarCraft two maps every map is similar.

Yeah i liked the zerglings head in SC1 in sc2 they gave them the arrow head even for the sc1 skin :c

I really appreciate it! I’ll work on some corny jokes 😤
in SC1 you use DT against zerg with 10-12 corsairs against the overlord detectors always
i like how you try hyping whats going on in the match, fun as always ^^
