It's an imbalance. Zerg have too much of an overpowered skill with Cloud. Warcraft Units' health was cut too much.

I feel like, with such lmited options, the Outcasts are just an extremely reactive playstyle. After game 1 the games were mostly "same-y" because the player needed to keep responding to the same sort of proxy cheese. I like both races as concepts, but I feel like this matchup was a poor showing for both of them

Thanks for once again casting my mod! All "Last" races are basically Amon's servants, the Last Terrans being religous worshippers. I think you can see the Faith meter if you spectate a specific player instead of Everyone, though the green player didn't really engage with the mechanic anyway, which imo was detrimental. Using Dark God's Cathedral as a wall was an unexpected strategy, though it ended up crippling the economy and army production in the long run because no units could enter it to pray and generate Faith. Starting with Anthon for the Outcasts was also a really unorthodox choice. He is a great starting option in team games where he can heal, transport and teleport allied forces early on, though in 1v1s all Anthon can do is scout and try to outheal the damage done to base defenses.

From both a game play and observer perspective, a giant invulnerable church/bunker/upgrade center that builds in 5 seconds and blocks your opponent in is a pretty stupid idea. Seems beyond broken.

The races here Last Terrans and Outcasts. Last Terrans are crazy worshippers of Amon. Their first gimmick is the Faith - they get global buffs based on how much faith they have, and can spend faith for units and powrful effects. And yes, you can use the cathedral as a permanent structure in tge enemy base for a cheese - just keep in mind that without faith Last Terrans are *crippled* lategame, and you can only generate faith by loading units in the cathedral, or starting a sermon, which freezes *everything* you have for 20 seconds. The second gimmick is that 90% of last terran units are multi-form units of come kind - like marines who can change between a plasma cannon for single-target damage, a missile launcher for AoE or a jump pack for mobility. The biggest drawback of last terrans is that their economy is slow and relies on faith - again, why cheesing with the cathedral the way Hit did in the 2nd game is bad in the long run. They also rely a lot on microing those multiform units. Outcasts are a hero faction. Their base is very unorthodox, as those hero structures are unkillable - you can damage them to disable them, but you can't actually kill them. All buildings are built instantly by the D4-D vessel, but they also rely on the powerfield from floating generators - no generators, and the structures shut down. Everything but supply depots also has to wait 50 seconds before they become activate after being dropped - 100 seconds for command center. They have 12 different heroes to choose from (though half of them are locked until you have at least one. Of those, you can make 4 (techically 5, but you have to have no workers to fit in the supply cap - its 30 for structure, 10 for the hero). Every hero has 5 upgrades that are researched instatnly in that hero's structure. Suffice to say outcasts take a while to gather up steam (having heroes timegated, and also requiring time to research weapon/armor upgrades), but once they do, there's little that can stop them - especially since their weapon/armor upgrades go up to *10*. Oh, and every hero's name starts with A.

The first game is the perfect reason why you don't go Anthon first - it means you die if you get cheessed. The second is disgusting. The cathedral being used as a permanent gate into enemy base in case of a cheese is powerful, but it also leaves you crippled inncase the cheese gets repelled - the cathedral only generates faith if units are in it (the faith is the cathedral's energy, fyi). Aaron is all about having thousands of hit points. Yes, that 5maxhp/sec DOES stack up to 6000 times, and it's just one of the ways he can get HP. But if he dies, all that hp is gone.

FYI, if we where to honestly compare 40k's Space Marines vs Starcraft's space marines.. Well.. It would be a complete stomp fest if they where to face each other. Space Marines in 40k are genetically altered by quite a bit. They are much larger, have backup organs, spit acid, ect. Their armor can take a better pounding than the Starcraft marine's armor and the weapons they use are also much nastier. If you ever actually read the lore of Warhammer 40k you will find out how extreme everything is.. Something to also keep in mind the Space Marine in Warhammer 40k is considered the basic "in the middle" of the basic ground troops. IE the average joe. Meaning there are LOTS of things much nastier than they are. To put something into perspective for people who might not understand it yet. Weapon wise, its like comparing a .22 caliber vs a .50 caliber.. Except its actually a bigger size than a 50 cal but I am just using it as a closer reference.. The .22 being the best Starcraft has to offer, vs the 2end worst Warhammer 40k has to offer. ( The worst weapon humans use in 40k is used a lot by the Imperial Guard basic troops. Its jokingly called a "flashlight". That said it would punch a huge hole in anything we can possibly make in real life, but it basically is a joke in 40k weapon wise. )

Seems to have a bit of Xcom Apocalypse influence too. Cult of Sirius was a faction there and lawpistols were one one your early game weapons.

I feel kinda sick seeing things in eagle eyes perspective, I wish to see the game in normal perspective.

Not Dune inspired, but Command & Conquer 3 inspired. I see the modder Jale had to change the names around so EA can get off his ass about copyrights. EA's rules about using C&C assets in mods are like this, you are free to export and import model and assets from on C&C game to another, for example, C&C 3 Kane's Wrath into Red Alert 3, and vice versa, but for a game like Starcraft 2, which is not made by EA, it is prohibited. So that's why factions like Brotherhood of Nod is renamed as "Cultists", that is essentially what Nod is, a Brotherhood to their own, and a cult to the Global Defense Initiative.
