  • My results with the low-pressure gas piston installed, I'm gonna give a pass to the 3 inch Hornady heavy magnum coyote load because jam could have easily been a symptom of installed piston. I hope the Hornady black aren't to hot for the installed piston. Love this Firestick Boom shakalaka bang pew from rock island. Magtech, some federal, Winchester little weak, seller and Beloit S&B weak. Star defense 00 buck wouldn't run at all and not pictured but was first type I tried. 00Buck and 00Buck are my preference for home defense but I'll give it to the Magtech slug it ran super reliable.

Im assuming you were running the heavy load piston? Mine came installed with the light already installed.

I have the same question. Did you change the load piston to heavy, before you loaded it with 3 inch shells??
