The VRF 14 is supposed to ship with TWO pistons... "Armscor ships the VRF14 with two pistons, one for light loads and one for heavy loads. To swap tubes you have to strip the VRF14 down, but this is not something you will be doing except to tune your VRF14 to the ammo you have or want to use." ... was that the case with your purchase?

I have the th9, g3, and g3c... have put hundreds of rounds thru each and have NEVER had a problem with any of then. The th9 is the smoothest most accurate of them all!

Looks great. My father called me the other day to tell me the frame to his SW99 was busted. S&W and Walther Arms said they no longer have any SW99 frames..... So I decided to search the all knowing internet and came across your video. Looks like this is a viable option.

the trigger is doing what it supposed to do, its a safety precaution. the Galloway or Mcarbo trigger will give more finger room and bring the pull down to about 4lbs and only have to walk 100yards until it goes boom.

It's not very bright when using outside

Cool gun but for something small I went for the bullpup. Less than $300 and once broke in functions great. Plus you can shoulder/aim fire it. And its about the same length as a shockwave.

After only 400 rounds through mine the takedown plate broke and will not allow the takedown pin to be removed, the slide locks open with rounds still in the magazine and the slide doesn't always lock open after yhe last round is fired. I'm very disappointed. I now have to take it back to the dealer and have it sent into Ruger for repairs. I loved the pistol at first but these issues happened after only 2 times of shooting it and only 400 rounds. Please keep this in mind if you are planning to buy one as this seems to be a common issue with the Max-9.

Do to legal and liability issues, should never mess with the trigger or firing mechanism on a defensive firearm. Unless it's done by the manufacturer?
