I wonder why the ATF is stepping up enforcement on pistol brace equipped firearms.

what low IQ take is this....... whoever made this post is either a bot or a legit fucking retard who thinks saying the word tyrant and not wearing mask = patriotism..
this dude literally walked around the park with. a. fucking. RIFLE! "pistol" brace or not- that is a bad idea.. he is lucky they were so nice and didn't beat him half to death....
stuff like this is why I am slowly growing to hate the "gun community"/"2a community", it's basically just a bunch of spregs and boomers who think joining the NRA and using the ATF meme endlessly means you are supporting and fighting for 2a rights..
Guns will never be banned.. you don't need to get in a facebook group to fight for that right!
People in the a2 community who think like this are like people who think say the N-word and then say "Freedom of speech!"

true, these guys know what they are doing. if it was something they were harassing him over that was more obvious then that’s definitely an issue, but a guy walking in the park with something that looks identical to whatever is the law where he is is kind of bullshit and childish. unless he is trying to see if they take it from him illegally after making contact but doing this in the first place just to try and make a scene knowing how complicated this specific set up is shows what type of guy he is. not even the top government decision makers know wtf their doing and what law changes each day so how can you expect these guys who have way better shit to do and actually deal with real armed criminals that probably started out as a call just like this to know what the new rule is today. when they go home at night they don’t just beat their dick to gun laws EVERY night just so they can answer each one of your audits perfectly. they know generally what is and isn’t legal, when it gets down to specifics you should be auditing the ATF. but we both know you’ll have your ass handed to you by fine print laws that even you don’t know. so you stick to wasting everyone’s time for content like this. fucking nerd.

I have plenty of guns and walking around a public park with a "rifle" where children play and families try to relax is definitely just acting like an asshole, especially with all the issues with guns we see in TV these days. So, I'll appreciate you as an officer try to preach more about not practicing this kind of behavior even if is still LEGAL to do it. Lets be civilize for once like a normal fking country.

    • @kenthomas3389

That, by legal definition is a pistol. If it's legal to carry and the area he is in is not restricted then they should know the laws and not harassed. They, like me, had constitutional law and if they don't know then they shouldn't be policing until they go back and learn more about people's constitutional rights. The ATF could serve a good purpose. The problem is Democrats use it to restrict our rights through erroneous rule making. The problem is that the ATF, and other agencies, are allowed to basically make laws through "rulemaking." For any agency (supposed experts who are really just unelected and ideological administrators!) - For their rule to have the effect of law, the given set of rules should be sent back to the legislature for approval. In that way, politicians are accountable for all laws as intended rather than using an agency to circumvent the constitution. And there wouldn't be so much confusion while awaiting cases to work all the way to the Supreme Court. Very few rules would ever be granted the effect of law.

So let me get this straight, they are upset with effectively making a pistol longer? So legal pistol that's easily concealable is ok, but somehow becomes more dangerous by adding bulk? Yeah ok, keep pretending like any of this is for public safety. If it was then they already would have used statistics of crimes to ban them. Instead they issue "Guidelines" with no actual guidance, using subjective terms maybe & might. Nothing says public safety like not explaining how to comply.

Is it reasonable to expect the reasonable person to conclude that an individual with a weapon of that nature is merely exercising their second amendment rights? If that is the precedent, then what stops any individual with malicious intent from leveraging that precedent to situate their selves in a public space, unharassed, to carry out malicious intent? More guns? Does every law abiding citizen need to bring a similar weapon with them to a baseball field? I am a firm second amendment supporter, but the premise of auditing the police on the second amendment in a place where children are playing is selfish and asinine. Be a decent human being and run your audit in a place less conspicuous preferably with no children next time. All this scenario would've needed to potentially cause a lot of harm is another lawfully bearing citizen spooked into shooting first and asking questions later.

To be fair, the ATF puts out stupid regulations and classifications all the time. Even as a gun owner it's hard to keep up with their bullcrap. In all practicality, that's a rifle. It's just the ATF's stupidity that labels it a "pistol."
Even so, by the videoer's own admission he was just doing it to "educate" the police by causing public panic. I'm all for the second amendment but using it to intentionally cause a scene only makes people hate guns more. You'll never change the stigma about guns by using them to incite panic. Be a responsible gun owner.
As far as the cops go, if someone is reportedly walking around with a gun around kids, they need to be cautious and make sure everything is okay. I'd prefer cops like these being vigilant and ensuring everything is legal rather than the uvalde cops. Yes, they should study up on gun laws, but they're not ATF officers, so they're not going to know every gun law on the spot because they usually don't deal with classifying guns or taking them unless they're involved in a crime. I know many people want reasons to hate cops but take a moment to put yourself in their shoes. If you got a call that someone was in the park with your child carrying a gun and walking around suspiciously, would you not care? Would you say "well I'm sure he's just exercising his second amendment rights" or would you make sure everything is safe and this person isn't a threat first then say it's their right? Too often we like to place blame on cops who are just people with a job that is intense and dangerous, yet we act like they're the ones that made the laws they're sworn to uphold. In this case they looked up the laws and everything was fine. They didn't shoot the guy or beat him or do anything out of line.
And lastly, the ATF is an unconstitutional organization that's against the second amendment and they should be dissolved. Their regulations and classifications are made by people who have no firearm knowledge or experience whatsoever.

I can't stress this enough. I am pro LEO, BUT so many cops .
    1. Don't know what they don't know .
    2. Will enforce only what they think they know.
    3. Will follow orders .
Not one of these cops new what this firearm was ... Not one

Pretty pathetic. And they are the ones that get to enforce laws they don’t understand and bust your ass strait to jail, with your tax dollars.

Children have been killed playing with pellet guns by cops. This also scares people with kids bc looks like u bout to do a mass shooting. It’s rude, and unethical and unnecessary. I own guns.

The more you do these "audits" the more people are turned against the 2nd amendment and the more regulations are placed on firearms.

Exactly! We live in a time where too many mentally ill people are running around. Moms and families see a "man with a gun" not a "guy doing an audit". Being from inner-City Philly, people would assume bad stuff first. These "audits" are not helpful at all.

As a native European, I see this as a protest against the disarmament of responsible, law-abiding gun owners, highlighting the importance of safeguarding individual freedoms. I have great respect for the founders of your nation, who intended for it to be a place of true personal liberty. The situation in the UK serves as a cautionary example of how restrictive policies can deteriorate into an unfavorable state of affairs. While i truly empathize with the victims of gun violence and understand their perspectives, I believe the root issue isn't guns themselves. The real problem lies in the widespread neglect of the mental health crisis affecting the Western world. It's not the guns that kill, it's people. Even if firearms are taken away, individuals struggling with severe mental health issues will still find other means to commit harmful and dark deeds. Addressing the underlying mental health challenges is the key to preventing such tragedies. God bless America, and God bless Europe. God bless us all.

i mean , yes the 2nd amendment . but why walk around the park with a pcc ? the amount of concerns will peak . it was the same with that black dude fully geared up in black with a mask and a glock on the front on his vest . and with the amount of active mass shooters in usa i mean come on guys . common sense is that hard to unlock ?

I understand that it's a matter of definition, and I see your point of view, but come on. Would you not feel any type of discomfort seeing a dude walking around with what appears to be a rifle, openly, in a public park where kids often are? Has there not been enough shootings in America to put even the slightest concern in your minds when seeing someone armed to the teeth calling a cow a chicken just because a gray zone in the law defines it as such?

  • @bobbob-vi4jx
    @bobbob-vi4jx Год назад +6

You have a right to do something But the police also have a obligation to investigate suspicious stuff. And if you wander around the park wiith an ar pistol out in the open its slightly abnormal. Just because you have the right to do something. Doesn't mean people won't be concerned and call the police. And don't be surprised when called sometimes the police show up. Also no surprise sometimes they don't really know the law. That's why they're not judges thank God.

Always since the second amendment was written have American citizens been able too legally carry weapons! Pistols, rifles etc doesn’t matter. That’s your right to do so without persecution from the government!

Also foolish to create an uprising for no purpose other than just to test the response. This is why some people view gun enthusiasts negatively.
I understand the purpose, but it’s creating a stir unnecessarily
