Kamiya and Itsuno leaving Capcom and DMC kinda breaks my heart, they were there at the beginning. Kamiya created Character Action and Itsuno perfected the formula with DMC 3. They weren't the only ones who worked on the series, but idk what the future will be. DMC 6 with Nero? DMC Zero with sparda? Remake 1? We have to venture into the unknown.

The hostage feature is a fucking awesome idea. I love proximity chat in games. How could you not like it?
I personally like it only when it's not filled with edgy teenagers yelling the N-Word and "fuck" like it's their native language. It's not offensive, it's just not funny.

this exact feature was present in the Splinter Cell Chaos Theory's Multiplayer on the OG Xbox. That was like, 20 years ago. But it never came back because it while it was interesting on paper, it was only ever used for comedy and trolling and didn't actually add the experience in any meaningful way.

As an avid capcom fan since childhood, it made me shed a tear as itsuno-san leaves capcom . He's been carrying capcom since the late 90s, he was the guy who tried the best to salvage DMC 2 at the last minute.

Thank God Remedy is escaping Epic. Their publishing absolutely tanked Alan Wake 2, denying them the ability to put out mainline physical copies or go onto other storefronts. I was extremely worried about Control 2, which I really want to play - but Epic is a reason that many people I know wouldn't buy it (and normally I'd be in crowd, but I broke my embargo for AW2 and only AW2).
They deserve better. Epic forced them to make a lot of bad decisions.
How Epic Game Studios limps along, despite horrid reputation is surreal. Are these investments for exclusivity deals even worth it? Are they money laundering?

I think Rocksteady became a lost cause. They should just cut their losses and dissolve. I find Itsuno leaving Capcom sad. It's the end of an era for Capcom.
A Control television series could be so good if they get the mood right. Making episodes around different agents and hunting down different items would be very fun

CDPR can't make the decision to not release on series S. Microsoft requires games releasing on their consoles to be on both series S and X. They could make the decision to not release on xbox, however.
Talking to someone you're holding was also in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and it was so much fun, very funny times. However in today's times and on CoD no less, it's easy to see what a disaster this can be lol

I love those ultimate alliance games. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase then digital and I still have the hard copies of them. I actually jist played the first one again a few weeks ago. Always fun to mess around with.

You guys are the reason why fun mechanics get patched out of video games. A good example is that player icons were taken off the map in Red Dead Redemption 2 because of people complaining they get killed IN A ROCKSTAR GAME and the result was the online lobby felt empty.
I wont lie, it saddens me Itsuno left Capcom. Even if a new DMC came out it probably wouldn't feel the same without him.
Who remembers being able to give audio commands to your squad in the Socom U.S. Navy Seals games, that was really fun. Don't know how to feel about the hostage thing yet.
I remember the “hostage mode” in splinter cell chaos theory. Me and my teammates would get both mercs at the same time, play music and make them dance together.

You know, hearing that CDP plans to make more series after the Edgerunners series makes me sad. Not because of the idea, but because it reminded me of them giving up on adding more to the Cyberpunk game they made. Next time you boot that up, I implore you to explore the city and go to places that never see combat or content; the amount of detail that went into every nook and cranny in that city... Cyberpunk 2077 was an absolute labor of love. It's so sad to see it won't get more love from the devs.
... Why are the laser beams from MISS FREEZE not blue or more ice-like or ICE. WTF. Nah, Suicide Squad staff had no clue who these characters were and you can proof it with the dumb storyline and assassinations of MULTIPLE characters, including the Justice League. Just wow... This really sucks so badly. Rocksteady has dropped so hard and WB might as well sell themselves to someone else.
Also the ice loop animation is so annoying. I can imagine players thinking at first "THIS IS COOL" but it slowly becomes "THIS IS SO ANNOYING!". There can't be a Season 3 because my god.

Suicide squad at least sold well even if the game sucks. A lot of dumb people bought it because they can't get away from the whole idea of having to have a live service game the minute it comes out rather than wait for it a review that's worth watching. And those players deserve the bad experiences they have.

I had an Xbox Series S for a couple years as a secondary system to my PS5. However, I found myself putting more time into it than the PS5. I recently upgraded to the Series X because I’m afraid that the games coming to game pass from Microsoft will be heavily downgraded on the S. It’s a cool idea, releasing a weaker, budget console, but having everything release on it just isn’t feasible.

I absolutely loved cyberpunk Edgerunners (although that ending destroyed me) and it made me met so many new folks who are now my friends so seeing more cyberpunk content for the future is exciting

Just hope Gothic dosent suffer the same fate as DD2, love that game as much as I love Kenshi (have more than 2k hours with it) and Vampires masquerade bloodlines. Have high hopes for all of those three games and the next entry in those series
They're going for the splinter cell multiplayer where when you played mercs against spies you could actually speak 1v1 in the spies headphones. likewise as a spy if you trapped a merc you got to say some stuff. It was all fun and usually cringe. That shit was years ago, there's no camaraderie anymore. So they just use it to insult each other and get violently angry lol.
The whole point of splinter cells was if you did taunt, you were called out easily. Maybe thats what should happen, flex a bit, your team is blackbirded, you flexed lets put you to the test.
