Mick was 42 at Live Aid but was at the top of his game and could out-perform anyone half his age. I loved his 1985 album "She's The Boss."
I thought "She's The Boss" was a noteworthy album also and it certainly didn't hurt his cause that Pete Townshend, Jeff Beck, G. E. Smith and Herbie Hancock made contributions to it.
Yes, it was! David Bowie, Tom Petty, Duran Duran, Bryan Adams and especially Madonna all were at the top of their game! What a day! I was there backstage with my girlfriend. One of the greatest days of my life!
Absolute 🙃👍
@@seanswinton6242Queen, Dire Straits and Phil Collins also killed it
He looks 60
I was there just 19 years old...the greatest concert ever
Mick is 77 now and just as cool as ever.
Damn he’s 80
Best front man/lead singer ever!
Vocals as good or better than studio version. Decades ago. Great memories.
When he screams...cant you see that im human !!!!!..... nobody believes Him,hes from another Galaxy. Awesome Mick
Micks BLEEPING epic here, no one ever gives his solo stuff credit, this album was good, best front man of all time
👍🏻.. 80 's... Positive energy ⚡⚡⚡
As usual Mick Jagger outstanding performance with Daryl Hall & John Oates band at background; This guy is incredible.....
I envy everyone whos been in a concert like this in the 80s
Keith Richards is my boy, but Mick brought it down single handedly that night!! Mick Jagger is a legend!
This is from Mick's solo album.
@@Jeanninecomeau first solo album
Keith too macho to be here.
@@MethildeHe was there genius. He played with another legend Bob Dylan with Ronnie Wood. The stupid we are the world chorus group was warming up behind the curtain behind them and they couldn’t hear what they were trying to play. They got screwed over
@@flyingburritobro68 I wasn't talking about the great song writter here.
I love my ROLLING STONES, but MICK JAGGER IS THE BEST PERFORMER EVER,I ADMIRE,AND FOLLOW THIS GUY,THE WAY HE DRESSES,MOVES,,,,HE'S A LADIES MAN, NO ONE LIKE HIM 👍👍👏👏🎸🎸🎸
freaking awesome love you mick!, that was music , miss so much nowadays
About as good a live performance as you will ever see from Mick Jagger. Vocals were spot on and he was doing a full-on workout on stage. He certainly wanted his song to go over to as big an audience as he was ever going to perform solo. The only thing missing was Jeff Beck's crazy solo.
He never stopped smiling! He was and still is, truly, a happy man with his art
Only band that has no bad performance for fifty years. Mick is the benchmark for a rocker...cant be touched. I remember watching this on TV in my teens.
I was 15 in 1985; what an all- star gathering live aid was!
You are not alone. I am the same way.
Mick Jagger doing his best, Mick Jagger. I love it!
I was there baby. ❤😂85!!
Happy birthday Mick! 79 today 🎉🎊
What can you say that hasn't been said, the absolute king and greatest frontman ever
Hail de Queen! Freddie Mercury!!
I think both Mick and Freddie deserve #1
Never understand that comparaison.
I'll have what he's having where does all that energy come from!!WOW
I was there! He had been doing it for more than 20 years by the time of this show.
Was listening to my YT music mix..this song came on..Damn!! I thought it was INXS!!! Pounding drums.. Saxophone and keyboards!! Signature INXS Live!! They said that Hutchence sounded a little like Jagger! WOW!!!
2023: Today still dancing around like back than ...almost 40 years later! What a timeless music, simply unique! Simply unparalleled!
Glad I got to be there. I was 20 years old and just 3 years earlier I went for a job interview and was speechless when Mick was interviewing me . He seemed old to me but I guess he was 39.
Queen, bowie and jagger did a amazing job this day. The three were by far the best. An on my number one for this concert.
Der Eine u2 was pretty fucking awesome you got to admit that
Queen, overrated. Bowie, meh. This number was great from Jagger, but probably the greatest performance that day was 'Layla' from Eric Clapton and Phil Collins.
Matthew Singh-Dosanjh I think bad from u2 was the best performance of the night.
Der Eine What about Freddie Mercury?
They were AWESOME. But I think "Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2 nailed it 🙃
this is elite, what a magnificent live version
The spirit of rock and blues in one man.....
This to me is the most beautiful of all songs, like a moment of surrender after all energy in fighting-for-love- songs
He masters the stage in front of 100 000 persons : respect!
I saw Grace Slick!
One of the most amazing live performers on the planet, bar none. I hope the Stones tour again...
US tour starting next spring ;)
Mellissa Lynn I got tickets to see them at Giants Stadium in Jersey spring 2019
DC and Chicago!
Just saw them july 3rd in DC,worth every mile driven from columbus, but hot hot hot!!
Dude how the heck does he still perform at 77 years old? This guy is incredibile
The "I need your sweet tenderness, I need your soft carress..." part is just so beautiful...
Great performances by all I remember it was so hot. Long day started early went late! Went there to see Jagger w turner and Eric Clapton. Rest was gravy I’ll never forget that day or concert! JFK stadium
Just Mick Jagger! The Stone energy Showman Voice!
i stated on queen's performance video that freddie mercury was very athletic in his performance...now that i rewatch this one...mick also has the same qualities...very well trained for their profession..the man never stays still
There is a little secret. It's called cocaine.
That’s just love for the music
@@user-db1vu3ny8x So taking drugs gives you Jagger's talent ? Do'nt be so ridiculous !!
@@petermills542 what talent? To jump around stage ? If jumping around and dancing on stage is talent then coke "gives" you talent...
@@user-db1vu3ny8x
Mick Jagger is a master Performer , capturing the attention of gigantic Live audiences all around the World for many decades ! & you still insist it's all down to drugs ?! You are a total berk !!
THIS is the most memorable performance from LIve Aid in Philadelphia - what a night it was!
Live aid what a long day and night. Glad I went
Mick Jagger
king of rock an roll
proof that some people are better at their jobs than others x
Absolute Masterpiece ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Farm Aid-Live Aid etc. always gets top artists and fun to watch - Mick at his best!!!!
I love you Mick!
Sempre fui fã desse mito, essa música marcou a minha adolescência na década de 80 😍😍😍amo esse jeito descontraído do Mick ammooooo❤❤❤❤
Well today is Micks 81st birthday. First time I saw the Stones was in 72 and haven't missed a tour since and my last was Hackney Diamonds Tour in Atlanta. Mick is still Mick but his stamina has got to be in the top10% of all men in the world from 80 to 85yr old. Happy Birthday Mick! He is Jumpin'Jack Flash✨🥂
Epic performance
MICK , NO WORDS , JUST LOVE YOU FOR ALL!!!!
🇧🇷🇧🇷 Mick Jagger ❤️! Ouvindo o melhor do rock! 2021! 🙌🙌
Não há outro igual❤
M. Jagger é fodastico, monstro nos vocais, não há igual 👏🏻
The greatest rock star in history!
It’s amazing how much energy he had back when he was in his 70’s.
He's in his 70s, now. At live aid he was 41.
@@jerseytomato100 It was a joke, Einstein
Professional. What a performance.
Greatest frontman ever.
Mick per sempre , The King ! 🎶🎵👌🙋♀️
king😍😍❤❤
WONDERFUL! always makes me smile, thank you, Mr. Jagger!!!
Mick Jagger solista lo más!! Excelente! Le pone todo!
Grande mick jagger otimo show perfeito saudades dessa época eu era adolescente saudades
Fantastic!!! 👏👏👏👏
Great perfomance.
Nice job by the Hall & Oates band backing Mick here.
Yes!!Mick and Hall and GOATS
Who is with me, noting that the middle piece from 2:31 to 3:12 is probably the best part of the song? The saxophone is like a loose cannon, like a chaotic thunderstorm, adding to the lyrics of a desperate man...
Mick ist 80 Jahre alt und top fit
I still love their music.
Mike jagger best song💕
Increíble, la banda de Darryl Hall y John Oats con el gigante Jagger. Eso fue memorable. Nunca había visto este video.
Así es.
Great tune from a great album by a great musician.
Happy birthday, Mick. 78 yesterday.
Nick Jagger canta demais ! Estamos carente de bandas assim hoje
MICK
I will always love them all
Une bête de scène ce mec, j adore
Mick Jagger like Elvis will never die. God of Rock and Roll.
This live rendition was so much better than the one from "She's The Boss Notice G.E., Hall & Oates
I see G.E., Daryl, T-Bone, Charlie DeChant, but I miss Mickey Curry and John Oates on that stage. Great song, never heard it, is new to me.
Mick Jagger, un monument de la Pop !!
Love this song!
Top anos 80 lembro da minha juventude, bom anos 80, jamais veremos banda assim, nos dias atuais.
Amazing!!!!!🤗😉
The Great performer Mick Jagger and band
Mick jagger 37 años despues...la misma energia!

Goosebumps!
He seems to be one of the few to get a cordless microphone...
Will you just check out who his "band" was......what a time, what a time.......
Queen Bowie and Jagger where the ultimate on this day, Im also a huge zeppelin fan and even i admit they bombed this day, as much as it pains me to say it, but they reedemed them self 22 years later with the reunion, There are three Ultra legends in the history of the world, Stones, Zeppelin and Bowie, and the legendary queen of course
Never understand comparaison between Stones and Queen, so far so differents even not the same public.
This is actually one of my favs of Jagger's, more so than most Rolling Stones songs (blasphemy I know :) ). But what's also super cool is Daryl Hail is on keys. Crazytown. A collaboration I never thought I'd see - I'm more of a fan of Hall's.
Mick javgger might not be the world most vgood looking main I'm no oil painting myself but I can see why he is one of the world most fanciable men to the females population most people had him on their wall never knew mick Jagger and his females admirers can be so althetic
EXCELLENT BEAUTIFUL AMAZING SUBLIME INMORTAL THE 80 AMAZING RULES 🎼 🥁 💫 🙏 💫 🎶 🎵
The Hall and Oates Band backing him great concert
Fewer artists are more salient that's for damn sure! Good point.
I know the day is coming
Don't take away your loving...
This is contagious !
They couldn't stop shouting for years long .
I become a little def from that loudy musick and stopped listening for years !
Now I am back to see how it will be in my 70 ties !
Me leva pro século passado 👏👏
Number one.
❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
Saudade dessa epoca maravilhosa
Every time I see Mick dancing, I crack so hard, because its so funny the way he moves😂
Mick jagger is the best 1962-2021 👍👍 the rolling stones 😆
