Thanks for this, just got the free freighter and wasn’t sure what to do with it. This game is miles from what it was at launch. Fired it up after years of free patches and having a blast!
I just started playing a week ago and I’m hooked.
As a day one player, day one in my first home. I was so excited!

i just started, about 10 hours in. i flew up to a freighter just to see if i could. then i thought they were attacking me, didnt even think to defend the freighter. i warped out, theres so much going on in this game. im pretty overwhelmed right now but having alot of fun

the funny thing is, I just ignored the first battle, I was in a hurry to do a mission, so I got lucky, cuz I got a capital one without knowing that trick
I was able to warp to a 3-star system and find a capitol ship that was a B class, but I didn't want it. So, I decided to warp to another 5 planets and no rescue encounters happened. Do I have to wait another three hours and if I get to an ecounter, how do I releoad a save: do I have to go to the space station first and create a save point and then come back to the encounter or what?

can you put individual planters, refiners & a nutrient processor back into your freighter? I quit after the last update made it so i had to put a whole room for each of those and the layout of my freighter changed out of nowhere. Tried editing something and it was deleted instantly just taking the wind out of my sails.
So have they changed/fixed where you can save at a station on your 4th jump then jump the 5th if you don't like the freighter you just reload?
Many many 3-star star systems and the all of freighter battles jumped into, looking for a freighter I want, all I've seen are the ones that look like a bunch of beer cans glued together. Wonder if they changed it

Just got my S-class Resurgent Venator. I think it must have rolled very low though as it only cost me 60 million. I was anticipating a few hundred million! Regardless I'm happy with it and can upgrade it as I play.

So, i got into a fight with pirares atracking a freighrer twice, tho i almost lost both fights(im BAD dont laugh at me) and called the anomaly to escape, did i just remove my chance to get a free one?
Found an A class star destroyer on this weekends anomaly mission and instantly bought it for 128 mil. Player gave me 600 mil when I was afk in the anomaly so that helped a ton 🤣

They must have made a change to the game because I have saved 4 freighters and they were all C class. Any idea how long it takes to get an A or S class freighter for free now?

It took me about 2.5 hrs to get a freighter above C. I ended up with an A class Gek.
just got my free freighter(new 2 NMS) 1st choice I think but all good. I have 2 ships but could only call 1 to the freighter how do I call the other one? Or do I have to fly it in?

What is the difference between an S class freighter and a capital class one?
Question: If I unlock parts for the freighter like the teleport for example and then sell that freighter does that unlock carry over to my new freighter or do I have to unlock it again? Im guessing it carries over but wanted to be sure.

For the first freighter, do you actually land then decline or just ignore it?
You probably figured it out already, since it's months since your comment, but you should land and decline and then talk to the captain again to get money as a reward instead.
Lol I hope they fix the design of one freighter where two antenna's litterally blocking the path when leaving the hangar.

I got the freighter battle and i landded on it and i got told to autosave and try and get a S class and i did and it dissapiard and i tried again 5 times and i never got it again What do i do?
I'd recommend getting the pirate dreadnought. It looks cooler. I have a video on how to get one on the channel
last time I played was with the old save system, can you tell me if getting out of your ship aboard a unowned freighter make a save?
I was after farming a S class system frieghter and my old method was creating a hard save before 5th hyperdrive jump and checking all systems in range and reloading the hard save until I found an S.
How do I check what class the freighter is without making a save aboard it?
I bought my first freighter but when I loaded my save I still owned the freighter but I still have all my credits? Very cool but I’m confused.

I turn down my first frieghter by requesting for payment instead, I encountered another freighter battle a few hours later and helped with fending off the pirates, but that one wasn't free despite turnning down the first one, what did I do wrong?
I think you have to decline completely, not accept payment

search for stasis device farms. there is a farm in a system in which someone made a farm connecting 3 planets together that give you all the materials for making 64 stasis devices, given that you have all the blueprints for the materials. also, once you get just one device, you could dupe if you want but that's if you want to progress unfairly quickly. either way, you can play how you want!
why they call them all 'frigates' since i saw a dreadnough on your list lol, why not capital ships?
DARN! I wish I would have watched this just a few days ago....I accepted the first "free" freighter. Am I screwed now at getting the free larger freighter? ANything I can do to activate that quest? THanks
My newest freighter guide has some updated info. You'll have to buy one unless you want the new dreadnought. You can get those for free

I don't engage in the battle I land on the space station and get the auto save but it KEEPS taking away the freighter fight and freighter?!?! Am I missing something? Please HELP.
Doesn't work for me either. Instead I just reload the auto save and it puts me in the same system with the battle ready.

I have not found the free capital freighter because although I have defeated pirates in freighter battles, the captain doesn't give me the freighter for free, he just discounts the price instead. Can you tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Do I have to defeat every pirate myself or can they also be defeated by the allies and the freighter itself?
Purchase it and you’ll get it for free. Mine was 70mil and didn’t cost me anything when I hit purchase

I’ve been playing a lot of creative NMS and I’ve been playing on it for over 3 hours and have warped more then 5 times but still nothing has showed up. Anyone have any suggestions?
I haven't tested this but I think combat is turned off in creative which is probably why you are not running into the space battle
Really? By combat do you mean like pirates and stuff? I have done those pirate missions where you attack freighters and I’m wondering if that is considered a fleet battle

@@Vanityy_ you can use the portable refiner I build about 6 of them and you put what you want to duplicate into it and just overlapping the refiners and then picking them up if you’ve done it correctly you’ll see that each refiner gives you the item you put in the first one

1. How do you start building the base
2. How do you recruit armorer.
3. How to get all owned ships to show.
