I jumped from outlaw system to outlaw system to grab one of these beauties to show you how it's done and have a bit of a look around.

Love the aesthetics of this ship. So glad we can get them for ourselves. A bit dissappointed there was no real difference to the bridge, though
Lovely on the outside, very similar on the inside.
I got my S-Class last night. Also, there’s actually a fourth color options, the stripe color option. Anyways, looking good, can’t wait to see these new warships in the new update, all finished and whatnot.
Another fun fact, regular freighters have two teleporters up on the bridge, but the pirate freighters just have the one, despite having two teleporters down on the hanger bay.
And for those keeping track, there are a grand total of 18 cannons on this new Dreadnaught, 12 anti-ship turrets and 6 anti-freighter cannons. And on the subject of cannons, unlike a Resurgence-Class, there are no underhull turrets, which is really a missed opportunity in my opinion.
Anyways, the ship looks great, even if it is a little buggy at the moment with the color options placement.

Definitely feels like a great addition especially because of how great the models are for these. I'm a little worried about them loading that many polygons really quick on last gen all the time but it should be fine.
If they don't keep this I'm just going to throw a tantrum until I get my way.

How lucky was I - yeah, don't know if that's a thing, but both that I saw had inf for a hyper-drive - odd!
@@RiceysStarshipEmporium but is it actually infinite or was that a visual bug?
Oh wait it's not the Range it's the Efficiency meaning how much fuel it uses when jumping (Warping) so that means it will never run out of fuel for the warps! so technically infinite jumps.
Hey man! thank you very much for the amazing video it helped me. But I just have one question: After I got the pirate freighter and then I did reload, I still see a red arrow above the small anti-starships turrets. Is there a fix for it or is it always like that ?
You're welcome! Not seen that happen before. Odd. Hopefully they'll go away eventually! Anyone else seen this?
I got an A class, after about 5 hours of reloading, all I saw was C class the entire time before that A class. In a few different Pirate systems.
After switching off the next day the landing bay plus bridge had bugged out and now look like the old style, it has lost all its interior pirate features sadly.
I'll wait until all the bugs get sorted before trying for the S class.
if you get attacked while near it the anti-ship turrets will fire on the attackers

when I reload the save and go back to the system where I fought, to find an S class, the battle doesn't respawn 🤔

In every pirate system I visit where there is no battle, I create a save and restart. When I find the battle, after winning and seeing the freighter class, I reload the save, but any pirate system I visit afterward, the battle does not respawn.
It's the same method i used to get S Capital freighter i actually have...bit now it's don't seems to work.
Is there different sizes? Or does it just come in one
Just one I think. But the future? Who knows!
Can they actually fire on enemy freighters with their gun once you own them?

i spend moths to find and build an S class Freighter...now i must do it agein from the start...
Is might take a while to find an S class, view once you do you can transfer your base over👍 and package up your tech before your buy.
So I’ve already killed two of these. They don’t surrender does it matter if I’m of PlayStation?
Yes, this is only for Experimental branch for now (PC) - hopefully not long until the update drops!

I did it all right but it never surrenders , i tried 9 times i even ended up by destroying one and it didn't surrender
The vid was made on experimental - but now the update is out you should be able to grab one. Make sure you're on v4.50 Omega

Folks, these battles occur in standard systems as well. It does NOT have to be in a pirate system.
You can then up your odds of a good class by just going to wealthy systems.
That's true, but they're less likely in non pirate systems, and in a wealthy system there's a 2% chance of an S class and in an outlaw system it's a 5% chance 👍

You just need to jump around and have an economy scanner to see the little skulls on the map. Good luck 👍

Keep attacking the freighter, take out the shield generators in the trenches then shoot the freighter itself. Try that 👍
