Thanks for the video. I have played NMS on Nintendo Switch and enjoyed it immensely. My profile even said I've put around 300 hours to it. But I sold my copy off during the Interceptor update because I got the short end of the stick; no matter what I do, the game crashes every time I interact with, or in the proximity of, the new features. Getting close to a crashed sentinel ship, for example, will give me less than a minute before the game crashes (a guaranteed crash too). This video is a refresher for me. So thanks again. Cheers.

This morning just got an S Class Exotic ship. These tips are sound for No Man's Sky. I am also enjoying having my bases at trading posts if I run out of materials to build stuff with or fuel for various things.
Just bought this game this morning because a friend talked about how beautiful it was. Watching this to learn how to play. I’m in creative mode making pets 😂.
I found myself a O2 mine and harvest it to take back home and run them through 12 medium refiners to make a ton of chlorine. You have to space them out as only 3 refiners can be in an area but I just hollowed out a hill to place them all down.
This is super helpful! I had to restart cuz im on ps5 now. I took a break and decided to get back in but then i saw my file was gone 😮 oh well back to it!
Thanks for the head's up about selling to pilots rather than the galactic post. Just came back to NMS for the first time since launch. 2nd planet I visited had a ton of salt I was able to refine into chlorine and found it sold for a lot of units. I was literally in my way to crash the local economy 🤣
ABSOLUTELY love the options in this game as well as your tutorial ❤ Wish more games would give the players the option to customize their experience the way this one does
I started playing about a week- ago. I Started in normal, trying to get my twitch rewards.. But i couldnt find a space station other than my broken one.. almost 4hrs into that, I switched to expeditions and it was alot more fun! It was somewhat of a tutorial
Great video - but remember you can cook foodstuffs and give them to the NPC in the Anomaly in exchange for nanites. If you craft foodstuffs that the NPC is more likely to enjoy you can receive 1000's of nanites per trip.
When I first found him I didn't realize he wanted cooked food. Of course now I've been getting much better at learning recipes. So the first time I gave him a bunch of raw food and I'm certain he was mad at me lol.
When you “clean the machine” from junk to open it, keep it. You can refine that to higher orders to eventually get nanites. There is also a guy on the space station that likes rust.

What makes this game good is the economic system, just jump in to this game, found out that most of upgrade need a big amount of units and nanites. That Units and Nanites tips are amazing. Never think about scrapping spaceships for the units and get a ton of nanites from there. Thanks!
Thank you for this video! I just started 3 days ago and I started a Normal character. I ran into someone after i finished the "Tutorial" aspect of the game and they told me to do the community Expedition... I was wondering where all the questlines went and it felt like I was just thrown into the world... Ive been liking the loot but gosh so confusing.
I've just started playing this game like 3 days ago. It's awesome I love it. Playing on normal and having a blast. I think the best strategy is to just follow the main mission/s, from what I can make out it is basically a tutorial and you very soon get most everything you need to seriously get into the game. Your Nanite making tips are just great, they are information gold. Yeah, definitely just follow the main mission it will unlock everything you need to get a good start.
Had the game for 6 years; I could never play it until I bought a new computer with navidia graphics. Now I am hooked. Love the game. Subscribed to this guy to get started 😊❤
Great video. I’ve just recently started a new game with some friends and I’ve already had a few pretty long saves, but it’s been awhile so this was a nice refresher. Plus I had never considered selling the upgrades from scraped ships, I always just did it for the units so thats really nice. Another thing I like to do to get credits is buy those scanner modules that increase how many credits you earn for scanning new animals and plants. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but I know that when you stack like an S, A, and B tier scanner together on one tool, you’d get like a few million credits for one large creature or something like that.
I think I had a bug when I started the game. When I checked to recharge the hazard protection at 3:00, it wasn't there. Turns out the hazard protection was damaged too. I died 4 times before I figured out how to repair and recharge it on my own. Anyway, thank you for this video. The early game was very confusing to me.
I'm so glad they've added a relaxed mode, no idea when they did but its perfect for me. I can't be bothered grinding my balls off I like quicker pace of lower material costs n shit. Looking forward to properly enjoying it
I kinda became a scrapper and I look for the damaged ships and fix em up enough to fly and then sell them for all that they are worth so it pays for the price of the maps I used to find it as well as all the other stuff I may have used. It's been the easiest way I've gotten money so far especially since I'm always jumping system to system
Man I'm so happy to learn there is a first person camera mode. Also that you can switch your multitools if you have more than one. I got an upgraded tool but I didn't exchange my old one because I wanted to keep it. I looked all over and just couldn't find the old one. It never occurred to me to look in the utilities menu. Cheers!

Thank you. Unfortunately I have the bug where the expedition isn't starting for me. There is supposed to be a fix in the next patch. Crossing my fingers I want that ship so bad
What is the suitable planet for a basic shelter? I feel like the second one in the tutorial would actually be difficult vs the first one it seems the cold temperature hazard runs more slower than the heated one?
Iv been playing this game for years and never understood why the sentinels attack me when im just mining 😂😂 now i know not to mine to much around them 😂
Just finished Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero. I was looking for other survival games on alien planets and this seems to be the best pick. It seems there's a LOT to learn, but let's see what happens.
TONS to learn. Honestly overwhelming. Enjoy the game. Set tiny goals. And spend lots of time exploring! Trying to learn everything at once is just a buzz kill lol
really appreciate the guide man, so i build my base near a trade station but non of the ships coming in are trading oxygen or chlorine, am i missing something or did they fix this to where they dont sell those anymore. i also noticed you had like 3 pages of trade goods, the guys im finding only have 1.
My game didn’t guide me through any of that. There was no handholding. I have to go into settings and look at the controls to try and figure it out. I also have HUD enabled but it still isn’t there
Okay i cannot find the space station is there one for every planet or is it just the super habited ones?? Im confused and a new player and i just wanna change my character at a space station
I started my first playthrough on survival on a toxic world 😂 i rage quited and then threw m3 in frozen world lol so far I like it. Yeah survival is fun 😁
I've been playing for a few hours, and I've just unlocked the Anomaly. However, after talking with every npc on the entire station, the game is still telling me to talk to the station inhabitants regarding Artemis in order to advance the storyline. Nada and Polo have nothing else for me, and at this point I have no idea how to keep the storyline going. Anyone else have this issue or know of any fixes? edit: This bug is also making it so I can't interact with the Nexus

Thank you for the video, much appreciated. Just realized I have this game on Xbox game pass so I play on pc and my girlfriend plays on Xbox. Without these videos I’d just be selling salvaged data. Thank you 🙏
Waddayat! Just started playing with a buddy in VR. Should have watched this first. :)
Yeah, definitely just follow the main mission it will unlock everything you need to get a good start.
what platform u playing ?
@@DepresjaToFikcja Xbox X
Had the game for 6 years; I could never play it until I bought a new computer with navidia graphics. Now I am hooked. Love the game. Subscribed to this guy to get started 😊❤
Computer
Newfoundland gaming channel defiantly got a new sub cheers from Toronto
Great video. I’ve just recently started a new game with some friends and I’ve already had a few pretty long saves, but it’s been awhile so this was a nice refresher. Plus I had never considered selling the upgrades from scraped ships, I always just did it for the units so thats really nice. Another thing I like to do to get credits is buy those scanner modules that increase how many credits you earn for scanning new animals and plants. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but I know that when you stack like an
S, A, and B tier scanner together on one tool, you’d get like a few million credits for one large creature or something like that.
This game is beyond its price now, I’m blown away
No Man's Sky is my favourite game.
Very Nice commentary 👍💐🔥
Me that am new have alot of trouble understanding of what to do...but i do recommend it for a long relaxing game ....building ....explore...!!..!!
Fantastic tutorial thank you
Ah, a fellow East Coaster, didnt realize until I heard the, "Stay where yer at, and I'll come to where yer to."
This Bluenoser just subscribed
Now by' a newfie youtuber! thats new! Subsribed!
Long may your big jib draw!
This game, starfield, and Star Citizen are gonna be the holy trinity of open world sci-fi games
I hear some east coast in dere......
Good to see...👍
The recharging sprint and life support reminds me of crysis
Man I'm so happy to learn there is a first person camera mode. Also that you can switch your multitools if you have more than one. I got an upgraded tool but I didn't exchange my old one because I wanted to keep it. I looked all over and just couldn't find the old one. It never occurred to me to look in the utilities menu. Cheers!
Great video. Do you happen to know HawkesGaming? He's also in your neck of the woods. The 2nd No Man's Sky content creator from NF I've found. I think maybe the YT algo is push content from the same country.
Thanks. No I don't know HawkesGaming but I'll be sure to check them out
I like your guide. Pretty much everything is in here. You like the Utopia Speeder? I thought it to be a pretty cool reward.
Thank you. Unfortunately I have the bug where the expedition isn't starting for me. There is supposed to be a fix in the next patch. Crossing my fingers I want that ship so bad
Thanks!
You're awesome! Thank you. This is actually my first super thanks on the channel. Took a screenshot lol
it would be cool if you explained _how_ to do the things you say to do.
What the background music name great video I’m starting out on survival holy shit
ngl star-field got me to play this game so i am a mega causal tbh and it looks cool and similar too starfield.
What is the suitable planet for a basic shelter? I feel like the second one in the tutorial would actually be difficult vs the first one it seems the cold temperature hazard runs more slower than the heated one?
Great tutorial.
Great video! Did they patch the ability to buy oxygen from the pilots? I've checked about 30 of them and nobody is selling oxygen.
Thanks for the amazing and easy to understand guide for noobs like me!
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
Iv been playing this game for years and never understood why the sentinels attack me when im just mining 😂😂 now i know not to mine to much around them 😂
I just starred playing, I am soooo overwhelmed lol
Just finished Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero. I was looking for other survival games on alien planets and this seems to be the best pick. It seems there's a LOT to learn, but let's see what happens.
TONS to learn. Honestly overwhelming. Enjoy the game. Set tiny goals. And spend lots of time exploring! Trying to learn everything at once is just a buzz kill lol
Great starter guide
Thanks
really appreciate the guide man, so i build my base near a trade station but non of the ships coming in are trading oxygen or chlorine, am i missing something or did they fix this to where they dont sell those anymore. i also noticed you had like 3 pages of trade goods, the guys im finding only have 1.
They changed it. You need to set goods to abundant in the difficulty settings now unfortunately
Literally just watched your 2022 video and thought “he should make a 2023 one”
Boom! Algorithm came in clutch!
Thats awesome thanks for watching
My game didn’t guide me through any of that. There was no handholding. I have to go into settings and look at the controls to try and figure it out. I also have HUD enabled but it still isn’t there
I still use the first ship that I found crashed. Took hours to get to a functional state but I'm proud of that ugly little thing
Okay i cannot find the space station is there one for every planet or is it just the super habited ones?? Im confused and a new player and i just wanna change my character at a space station
I found 6 weird iron cubes near the surface.
It said they are worth 6k units each.
How do I fix the faulty hologram and the damaged electrode and the shattered power core
I always play this game a ton all at once and then leave it for months and then am overwhelmed when the new update comes out. Feels like I need to restart every time 😬
Is the chlorine trick more profitable than smuggling outlawed goods from outlaw systems and reselling in friendly systems?
