I think the only thing I'd suggest, is to focus on upgrading your scanner. The better the scanner, the more nanites you get which makes it much easier to get better upgrades as you continue exploring planets.

Definitely, the process to learn which buttons to press is quite a barrier to get into the game. And if you are PC and want to customize, good luck. Sone buttons are fix and are not customizable, still after all these years.

Ive been mining on the biggest bubble this whole time. It goes to show that beginners guides can teach you something important even if you feel like you know what you're doing.
Mostly good, but ... Sodium = worst way to charge shields. Batteries batteries batteries. Cobalt = Very slow way to get very few units, better use of time is to get to space and kill the first pirate, that will net about as much as 500 cobalt, in about 1/10th the time. Gather a lot of Buried Tech = no... Get enough to unlock Base Teleporter, Biofuel Reactor, and Wires... + 4 Then progress to the Anomaly and buy Roamer Geobay blueprint. The Roamer will let you collect them more than 10 times as fast? And remember.. The First blueprint you want from the anomaly is starship - Economy Scanner (a 2nd stage blueprint) Install one and find a pirate system so you can just buy things and sell them at a non-pirate station for huge markups. And freighters in pirate systems don't prompt defensive fighter ships when attacked... so you can load up on contraband that way too.l
Step one: do main mission until you can summon anomaly space station. Step two: land with starting ship. Step three: stand around for a few minutes until someone gives you a billion units and 500 salvaged data. Step four: buy anything you want. I started recently playing again after being disappointed at launch and this is my experience starting out. The community is very giving and helpful.
I started a few hours ago and am in my second d system already. But I found a crashed ship on one planet. It is B tier and mine is C tier. I started fixing it but it has ALOT more to go. Is it worth it to upgrade this early ? Or should I give up on this ship and stick with my starter ?
@@darkdraco02 I'd say it's not worth it better to collect money and Lookout for ship you want landing at space station unless you find the perfect crashed ship.
So I just started this game either a day before this video or the day this video was released. And it's very quickly taken top 3 of my most favorite games of all time, and this video showed me the answer to some of the questions I had left/ questions I didn't even know I needed answered 😆(I didn't know about storms helping jetpacks). Hello Games really redeemed themselves since launch. I was a day one adopter because the marketing worked too well on me and absolutely hated how empty the game felt. Never sold it out of spite and to never make the same mistake again but after seeing all the good reviews, I got the courage to try it out again. Definitely worth playing in 2022 but you need a lot of patience. I just got done setting up my Cobalt stash so I should be set on cash for a while. I am now saving up for a ship to help advance further in the game.
This game is such a blast. I hope Hello Games is making good money from all their efforts. It lived up to so much of the hype after some updates. Feels cathartic playing this

So I've had NMS since day one played the game for as long as I could before deleting it cause it was just so barebones... Now, years later with a ps5 I just redownloaded the game and dam I'm completely lost lmao the game is light years ahead of what it was day one I'm just overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that's been added or changed. I'm happy I got the game digitally cause I would of sold it back then and never went back. I guess I'll do the story and build a base and get familiar with everything again.
Guys. I'm on my starting planet. Got my ship started. Started traveling around and came across a settlement on the same planet that was a few hours away. Turned out to be a merchants hub. There was a korvax guy selling stuff as well as a weapons terminal that had a rifle on display for a few million $$ which is an upgraded multi tool laser and has some upgraded attachments to it like one making it a gun. Should I purchase this???

Just came back to No Man's Sky after a year or so hiatus. I'd forgotten all the keyboard buttons, so that was painful. Then go absolutely murdered by Sentinels in space!! Yep, think I'm a bit over No Man's Sky. I've always hated the menu system and ridiculous amount of buttons required for on foot, ship, menus, building!! ARGHHHHH!!!! I wish they'd make the menus better and the control system more intuitive and easier.
What is there to do after completing the campaign ? ....... I finished the campaign really quickly last year and just got back on it , what else is their to do because I'm just running around with no objective 😅

As a day one to current 2000+hour player, I can tell you with confidence that kraze is the man.
I took notes through out the whole video. Did everything you said on my notes step by step. It helped a ton. I got a good footing in the game.

I have 50 hours and i just learmed i can hold E to collect multiple resources, like sodium plants, in an area.
I hope he explains how to farm units (saying this before watching)
