I recommend coloring the beacons to match the resouce it's marking during set up. In this case, white for power, purple for radon, yellow for uranium, and grey for silver.
Got nearly 1 day playtime in the game, this was a daunting thing for me to try and get into. This was literally the best video to help me understand. Thank you!
Overall a decent guide. A couple things are a little off, but nothing crucial. I recommend using metal floors. They make a nice grid to place your machines.
I'll do the exact same thing next time I go in the game. Thank you ! This is exactly what I needed to understand. I'm 2 weeks in the game, 100+ hours in my save, and I was looking for things to do.
You mentioned not wanting to check on the farm frequently. So if you go with the 1280 per hour production on the Radon, for example, and only want to check the farm once per day - or every other day - just add more supply depots to hold whatever will be produced between visits, and then sell off the multiple stacks of resources whenever you check on the farm. Let's say I'm lazy and will only check in every other day. That will be about 61,440 Radon per visit. That means you need a LOT of supply depots, but we don't care about it being pretty so just stack them up...
Great video. Thank you for taking the time to make it. I would love a video explaining diminishing returns and giving the most efficient set ups available. 💪🏻👌🏻
Great video! I'm still a tiny bit confused as to how to expand the base i think but there's plenty of great videos out there on that, so no big deal. Thanks for the ideas!!👍
Nice job on the video! This is good information for firsttime miners with easy to understand logic. If you'll permit me, I would like to add that if someone wanted to create a farm with the highest yield, they should set the first extractor directly on top of the highest percentage, then each additional extractor on top of the first. This is because a deposit is shaped like a cylinder with the highest efficiency at the center and rising up to 300u above. This means that the 63% at the center is 63% at 300u above that center. If you place the extractor's around the center point, these will have less efficient extraction rates.
It definitely not clear but the best way to build minig is actually vertically, same with magnetic electricity. You see, hotspots are actually vertical columns, yield will fall the farther you go horizontally, but will stay the same if you go vertically.
The "phantom connection" of your storage to the network is because the end of a wire, or a supply pipe has a raius of connection, i cant recall if its 3m or 5, its about the size of a storage module extractor thingy This is why Glitch building mining is so nice, just 1 or 2 items neatly stacked (but maybe 20 stacked oover the top of one another) plus you only need 1 wire, 1 pipe to connect them, because yes EACH wire and pipe counts towards your build limit, which means a build like this uses twice as many of your count than you think I actually came to watch this because i thought you were building something that "looked" like a cool mining outpost, and wondered if it would be functional too Kept watching to see if i learned anything :)
Wait a minute. If I'm understanding this correctly I do not have to connect each individual to the pipeline? I'm gonna have to go and try this out. Thank you!
I was going to use that wiring trick to set up a local teleporter on the planet surface up to a skybase, but sadly, the teleport cables can't be chained the same way.
HELP! Shortly after last update I now land on planets and they have missing sections that make me fall through the map! Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for it or patch coming?!!!
First I've heard of this. Check the NMS Discord to see if others are reporting this issue. Hello Games is usually pretty good at fixing bugs like this in a decent amount of time.

I played in 2022 and I had a huge gold farm, around 300-400 extractors getting even the 1% and it used to make me almost 50k gold per hours, but it only makes 2.6k now, is it a bug or what's going on?
I miss the old prices. It's better to make chlorine these days but for a quick injection of passive money this is probably the best way. Just way less efficient.
Great video! Helped a lot. If I may give some friendly constructive criticism - you should write a script to narrate from while you’re recording. Lots of “um’s” and silent areas right in the middle of sentences. Just a tad frustrating 😅 I say that with no ill will.
Thanks for the input. I've tried scripting for videos and I sound wooden. I think I'll go with notes to help the structure of future content. Have a great night and see you again I hope
Ooo. Too many extractors. After 6 you get diminishing returns. Personally, I've found 4 is perfect with 9 storage units, this gives me a stack of 10k once per day.
@@thegamevault1970 this is true, but experience has taught me that if you spend too much time gathering this crap, that takes away from the fun stuff 😂. Money is nice, but you end up with an unlimited supply once you get into this stuff 😜

I love to place the power connections on pillars just to look good. This automatically solves the connection-too-long issue 😊
Running the power like they do along the highway? That's cool
Nice video, I'm newer, with about 50 hours, and at a point to work towards something like this
Thank you! Enjoy the game, it has gotten so many updates since release and only gets better.

thanks. gotover 1K hrs in NMS, but never knew this! looks like i got a lot of base remodelling to do ;)
Awesome, I'm telling you I've got so many hours in this game and not a week goes by that I don't learn something new, usually from a viewer.
Awesome. Thanks buddy. That was easy to understand, and it's going to help heaps
Glad it helped out!

now if only they had spiral staircases.

Wow! I’m impressed! Will visit. How long did it take?
Not too long, if I recall, the hard part is gathering tons of resources.

Do you think signal booster would help locating the deposits better?
Is there such a thing?

They nerfed the crap out of money farming with resources. This happened sometime last year. Unfortunately not a bug.
Open song title?

Thanks, I think it's called Donations, found it here on RUclips.

I've tried it in the ps5 and yeah.... It's pretty cool. Especially flying!

Just build a trade terminal......
Sometimes the simplest answers are easily overlooked. Good point, a terminal won't tank the local economy, will it? Can't remember.
@thegamevault1970 it does, as it links to the systems trading economy. Only trading with pilots directly doesn't affect the system prices.
