- Here we see the Brand New Squad Co. 2A of the Chicago (IL) Fire Department. This is the North side Squad. They were pulling out to drive around back where they raised the snorkel. They then pulled back into quarters. Enjoy!

Love the new red and blue lights, all Australian emergency services got red and blue lights because there where to many near misses with just plain reds
I hate they quit the mars 888 lights or the code 3 version that was there trademark like the green

Fireguys235 Their called squirts or water towers.Our city has squirts but they r replacing them with the same 1's has Vegas but our city is calling them water towers....Cause the nozzle is in the front not the back like the squirt......

I could c if it was a QUINT snorkel.But I still need a engine 2 feed water 2 It a waste of money in my opinon.We got squirt engines with a 55' boom at the end of it a nozzle.A great piece of equipment 4 the p.f.d.

IMO they look better than the HMEs, lot more interesting on first sight with the short cab etc, but I definitely agree that the blue lights are way outta the classic CFD style, hope this trend will fade away soon.
yosarian84 yes. but the old ones had a lot of details at the front. the silver, the lights on the grill red. etc. hope this trend ends soon.

The old Hme ones were way more unique. But they were also 17 years old this had to be done

Is there some contest going on to see who can come up with the ugliest front end of a fire truck? I think Pierce started this with the Quantum. Now everyone has something going on up there. KME has some ugly stuff now too with the squashed cat looking headlights. Same with Spartan on some models.
Apparatus buff 75 yrs...pierce quantum is the ( huge cab) but no design/ lines...HME to square... agreed 💯
