It's a great Class A ship if you go through the questline. If you just want to pick up something quick the War Horse from Neon isn't bad(has something like 30 reactor power). If you want the best performance possible you'll need to make a custom ship with all the skills to support it. Using the Razorleaf as the base can be nice too just so you scare away enemies.

The Vagabond, found on Titan, is the best A class that somebody could get and upgrade to the max early on (level 10) and you don't need starship engineer for it. The grav drive can also be maxed out at level 20.

For premade stuff just ask a ship technician about the ships they're selling and press the button prompts at the top of the screen to cycle through the offerings. Class B and Class C ships will be included. If you're building something from scratch the Class is primarily attached to the Reactor, though other parts can reference it too(e.g. shields). An example of a Class B ship would be the Shieldbreaker on sale at New Atlantis at the start of the game; it's a fairly stable choice too.
Someone should make a Shipyard mod for this game. My hopes with it are below. 1, All shipyards sell all parts. The special manufacturer parts you get a specific people can be bought from anyone. However, where you do buy does sell their manufacturer parts at a discount compared to the other parts. So if you want it cheaper, you should go there specifically. At your outposts you can also buy all parts but get no seller discount. 2, Add a test drive feature. Lets you fly your ship around and shoot at some dummies. Let you get a feel for it before you commit. You can also walk around your ship during this time to see if you like the inside of the parts. 3, No build limit. Remove the restrictions on how long, wide, and tall your ship can be. Along with this, you can have multiple of each component. For example I would like to build a ship with 2 cockpits, 3 reactors, 2 shield generators, 2 grav drive, 3 landing bay, only 4 landing gear, and so on. You would also remove the requirements for landing gear. So your ship only needs a min. of 1 regardless of how big it is.
Hmm i could yeah. I finally finished it today actually. I was trying to replicate this build I saw online of someone who was making the razor crest from the mandalorian
i believe the game does rotate what ships they have, yes. But it also depends on how high your skill is in piloting and starship design. The higher you are, the better and more ships you might see
No but the best you can get is creating a “landing pad with ship builder” at one of your outposts which gives you *most* of the parts from each vendor. Sadly it does not show all of them though
Is there a spaceport that lets you upgrade storage? I figured out how to add living space and i can connect the storage i have to it but i cant add new storage, this may be something i have to level ship design for but i am a ways off from that lol Edit: good news, there is no skill cap lol so i don't have to worry about choosing between survival and smarts

I'm scratching my head trying to find a list of all the weapons and their vendors. I need to know to plan out the armanents for an A, B and C class ship, now that I have my ship design at 4. But to literally fly around all vendors and try to remember what would work with what etc? Maybe there are some hidden gem weapons that would mesh well with the exact build I had in mind. They do change, yes. The inventory is always changing and it expands as you level up your ship skills. You’ll just have to periodically visit Star yards and check to see if they’re there
Sorry I'm a little confused I went to these locations and could only buy ships? When you say vendors sell parts do you have to buy the ship that has the parts on it to unlock them?
No. When you go to the vendor you can ask to modify your ship. This lets you see all of the parts available when you go to add something to your ship. You have to add them to buy them.. lol
My question is how come nobody has made video showing most of the special parts at some of the special star yard like the Deimos star yard all I keep finding is videos of the ships
It's really confusing. Am just looking for ship modules to build buy I can't seem to unlock any in my ship builder. I was hoping to buy the parts separately to just build a ship from scratch but it doesn't seem to work for me. Think I'm gonna just wait for the mods. 😔
Oh I see what you mean. It is annoying because you have to fly to a location and use that location’s ship builder to add parts to your ship. You can’t buy parts to add to your inventory or anything. The only way around this is to build a “landing pad with ship builder” or something like that. It’s a structure you can build as part of one of your outposts. It lets you use *most* of the parts from all of the different locations but not all of them. I’d say like 80% of them are available through it. Otherwise there are mods that unlock everything at one place for you which I have used and I can for sure say that is how it should be.
@@NinjaPupsYeah it’s true. I’m currently level 39 in the game (just doing sidequests, haven’t actually gotten far into the main story), while spending a LOT of time on Neon, and I haven’t seen the ship technician there once
I’m not really sure what you’re asking. You can’t really accumulate parts by making a stockpile of them if that’s what you mean. You can only add them to your ship when you’re in the middle of building it. You need to upgrade the skills I talked about in the video to get access to more/better ships and parts.
By unique parts I am referring to parts that are only sold at specific destinations such as the Cabin on my ship in this video that I’ve only seen be sold at Akila City as far as I know. There are several other parts and cool looking parts you can only buy with the Class B or Class C piloting skill unlocked. One of them for example is the Reladyne Nova 1000 Engine, something you can only buy with a class b upgrade
Not really. You can buy parts at the vendors, but if you don't have your Piloting Skill/Starship Design upgraded then you can steal ships that have higher tier parts and use those parts in your build (provided you are editing that ship.) But that is quite tedious
In a sense you can bypass the requirements for starship design by purchasing a ship with parts already installed. If you ever delete them though you cannot get them back without having the skill.
you can find some good nova parts from new homestead on titan, but i would also recommend making an outpost and making the item called landing pad with ship builder since you can get *most* of the parts from there
You can build a Landing Pad with Shipbuilder at your Outposts. It will have all non-premium parts in the game. So other than some bridges and hab braces most parts will be included.
40 meters is the total in length for any ship for it to be able to land properly. But you can also go fairly wide and have multiple decks; which the Stronghold does, technically(most of its size comes from the ridiculously large HE-3 tanks and attached decorative struts).
There might be but I haven’t seen any yet. Maybe there are some class B or class C ships with large wingspans or maybe we’ll just have to make our own!
so, am i getting this right. you have to fly to a shop and use the build menu there to pruchase the parts and have to place them directly? theres no back inventory for ship parts? meaning i cant buy every part in the game at once and then go home, build a ship with 1.000 parts in store in my own garage so to speak?
Damn. I thought this would be a video telling us where we could get the best 'parts' for custom ships. Instead it is a video showing us prebuilt ships with nary a hint about good components. Virtually without exception, the prebuilt ships absolutely suck.
Each of these vendors can offer their own unique ships (which get better the higher up your skill is in piloting and starship design, something I didn't have leveled when making this video) and each vendor can sell unique parts that you can't find anywhere else. I don't know every single unique part in the game so I just told you where you can find a lot of them.
My game has a disappointing glitch/bug where I cannot buy the more large and expensive ships because my game won't load them. I'll be scrolling through the available ships to purchase, and the image of the ship won't load, which means it won't let me buy them. For example, in New Atlantis I can buy the Rambler and the Galileo, but the Shieldbreaker won't load. I'm playing on PC and with an RTX4090 graphics card, so I know it's not my PC that's the problem. Curious if anyone else is having this issue?
Something similar happened to me. Nearly every time I made large modifications to my ship in the Ship Builder, the ship would be corrupted. I restarted 3 times (once after my toon hit level 19) before I wiped the game and reloaded. It seems to be MOSTLY behaving, but there's still a few temporary glitches. I think Bethesda will have to put more effort into the Ship Builder. They're probably aware of the problem.
Keep talking in videos. I appreciate the video but as soon as you said you would stop talking, I stopped watching. If I can't find this information elsewhere, I'll watch the rest. Look up "dead air" as that's what you did 2 minutes into 10 min video.

Otherwise there are mods that unlock everything at one place for you which I have used and I can for sure say that is how it should be.
i wish they would patch the glitch for neon spaceport, still can’t buy ships since the technician doesn’t exist
really? the one that is in the building on the landing pad? I haven't not heard of that bug, but if so that sucks
@@NinjaPupsYeah it’s true. I’m currently level 39 in the game (just doing sidequests, haven’t actually gotten far into the main story), while spending a LOT of time on Neon, and I haven’t seen the ship technician there once
How do you accumulate ship parts/varieties when upgrading ones you own ???
I’m not really sure what you’re asking. You can’t really accumulate parts by making a stockpile of them if that’s what you mean. You can only add them to your ship when you’re in the middle of building it. You need to upgrade the skills I talked about in the video to get access to more/better ships and parts.
I'm so confused with this ship building, where tf do I get ship parts to build something I like
Does anyone know where to get trident ships and parts? I’m looking for the luxury parts.
You cannot get them unfortunately :( just spent 20 minutes googling to find out they aren’t available in game without commands
What do the unique parts look like that I need to fit to upgrade to the next level ?
By unique parts I am referring to parts that are only sold at specific destinations such as the Cabin on my ship in this video that I’ve only seen be sold at Akila City as far as I know. There are several other parts and cool looking parts you can only buy with the Class B or Class C piloting skill unlocked. One of them for example is the Reladyne Nova 1000 Engine, something you can only buy with a class b upgrade
Which one sells class c grab drivs
What’s the ship in the thumbnail?
So do you buy ships to get the parts to use to build?
Anyone know where to buy the nimitz 3?
Where is the Nova shipyard?
you can find some good nova parts from new homestead on titan, but i would also recommend making an outpost and making the item called landing pad with ship builder since you can get *most* of the parts from there
Anyone know if there is a place that sells Deimos and stroud parts? I wanna bash those two styles together
You can build a Landing Pad with Shipbuilder at your Outposts. It will have all non-premium parts in the game. So other than some bridges and hab braces most parts will be included.
@@XoRandomGuyoX thanks. I’ll give that a go
How do you get the frontier ship you showcased?
It's actually a custom build! I'll have a video up soon, although it will look slightly different since it was mid-build in this video.
Lit 🔥
The ships you can buy isnt an indication of the individual parts available
Absolutely but I still wanted to show all of the vendors and just a taste of the ships they have to offer.
As far as I can tell the stronghold is the biggest?
40 meters is the total in length for any ship for it to be able to land properly. But you can also go fairly wide and have multiple decks; which the Stronghold does, technically(most of its size comes from the ridiculously large HE-3 tanks and attached decorative struts).
My guy is a bounty hunter. Bounty hunters don't buy ships they steal them. 😂
Strange, you are not seeing all the ships that I'm seeing.
The ships will be different per person, but they can also be different if you are a higher level in skills like piloting and starship design.
Where can I buy the Ares cockpit? I have been looking all over, I need one that sits on top and looks menacing for my ship build.
Deimos staryard in sol
I went there but he wasn't selling it. it wasn't even grayed out like I needed to unlock it.@@Space_G00N
@@Space_G00N Well I just went back to make sure and its there lmao, must have missed it somehow, thanks!

Why are there no “winged” ships?
There might be but I haven’t seen any yet. Maybe there are some class B or class C ships with large wingspans or maybe we’ll just have to make our own!
@@NinjaPups Well I just deep dove and discovered you barley fly in the game anyways. What a bummer.
so, am i getting this right. you have to fly to a shop and use the build menu there to pruchase the parts and have to place them directly? theres no back inventory for ship parts? meaning i cant buy every part in the game at once and then go home, build a ship with 1.000 parts in store in my own garage so to speak?
Unfortunately this seems to be the case.
Nice, I have been looking for the Mule but can't find it:(
I hope you do soon!
Um they killed the guy in Atlantis during the attack on the lodge I also found 2 people without clothes in their undies I’m so confused 😂
In the home Town the engineer has not been seen for a week days know ? He went missing ??? Wtf is going on with the game ?
I don't know every single unique part in the game so I just told you where you can find a lot of them.
sup bud
hey wazzup
any one know where to buy the big semi round landing gear?, one that on the watchdog
Hope 55 Landing Gear from Hopetown (Polvo, Valo System). You'll need Starship Design 1 for it
I think the massive landing gear is a hope part, try hopetown.
I’m trying to find a Taiyo hub.
Right now, I'm using a ship called Warhammer and it's a beast
That sounds awesome!
You have not possibly completed this
Check the description for the other 3 locations I missed.
Boooii where's the atypical ships
Keep talking in videos. I appreciate the video but as soon as you said you would stop talking, I stopped watching.
If I can't find this information elsewhere, I'll watch the rest.
Look up "dead air" as that's what you did 2 minutes into 10 min video.
I’m trying to find the Phalanx II specifically can anyone point me in the right direction?
So without that ability to piloty class c ship, is useless i buy now that i have 0 in that skill.....
