What’s so interesting about Bessel 3B

    • @manicmarauder
      @manicmarauder 9 месяцев назад

@@boredpangolin2553 It's one of the few places where you can get all the basic base building resources in one spot if you check the biome boundaries. Makes a good 1 stop shop for low level 'legit' xp farming or even light cash during the early game, and costs almost nothing to build since it self supplies. Even in the late game I imported stuff from other systems to that base to make various upgrade stuff. Or at least I did before I gave up and just sold the raw unimproved guns and equipment for a living. Still have a fully kitted out base there with full living accommodations, and even an extra receiving base beside it to import more raw materials and just walk them over to local storage when I need to make something, though it all kind of collects dust now. It's sad the economy and wait time punishes you so hard for legit upgrading weapons and suits before selling them. It does still work though if you're willing to spend the time selling and really want to do it legit.

Fun Fact: This is a random event location.

Sure looks like the Sonder, and it's ALWAYS in the Bessel system orbiting the planet that has no moons. I am NG+ 14, and have built a base on Bessel II's moon every time, and it's always there orbiting either Bessel I or III, not sure which, but it's not the planet with rings, but the one with no moons.

  • @ThorsonWiles

Don't normally go to Bessel? If I set up a base, the first one is almost always in Bessel. III-b also has a 57(ish) UT hour, so you can reset nearly everything by sleeping for 11 hours.

My first outpost is always on Bessell IIIB, with a secondary on Bessell III A. I usually also have a third outpost outside the system but can't seem to get that one in the same place every time, yet. What I can tell you though is that Legendary ship encounters do not stay in the same place and will move if you do not engage them when found. I've missed out on the Va'Ruun capitol ship and the Crimson Fleet capitol ship. Both ships are no longer where I originally found them.

IDK what the other location is, but this is the same map as another star station. Same foes I believe as well. Pretty sure I've come across this one, but I have noticed that quite often if you've never been to a system before (or whatever reset period has passed), then some markers don't show up until you're in the system. I've seen generic and ship markers show up only After I've gone to a system. I think that's simply the dynamic aspect of the game kicking in like it does when you land somewhere.

Bessel III-b is where many of us have been countless times as we continue to await the fixes to the Power from Beyond mission - - where the temple never spawns and the map markers never appear and you land at over 1000 spots on each planet and moon in the system hoping for a miracle, but only find hundreds of anomalies. Those of us completely stuck trying to acquire our 13th power have been all over this system (literally) thousands of times. Even playing on "very hard," the loot has never been anything above standard - - some ammo, a subpar weapon or two, and that is about it. The storyline to the Sonder, however, is interesting.

You can found few notes where the crew writer that the robots did strange things and sometimes hurt people and after you can activated a robot that at the First help you and after try to bypass the control on a PC and when you arrive near it, it give you a choice: go away or stay and die. I Remember that i didn't go away and the robot Attack me, you can image the rest of the story... . But the story Is that the base program of the star space station change and the IA that help people on the station take control of the station and the people that didn't go away died. I expected the star chart to progress in all directions around from the starting point. Nothing to me was more disappointing and "gamey" than realizing "Da low level planets are to da left and da high level ones are to da right." I really hope DLCs and patches make this more fun. Imagine how stupid I felt after hoarding 80+ tape because I thought I could scrap misc junk into something useful. Shit felt like a step backwards. Weapon mods were pretty annoying too. :/

Titles like that of this video only really work within the first few weeks/months of any game's initial 1.0 release (excluding early-access, those games aren't finished yet so aren't relevant).
Starfield has been out for long enough that any and all content the devs don't want players to see/witness/use has either been patched out, or hidden in the game's files so that no normal gameplay will ever stumble upon it.
Whether it's intentional or not, clickbait titles and thumbnails will only earn you ire from any potential audience. If you don't care in the slightest about pissing off your audience with bad business practices, then obviously there's no need to heed my advice.
Misleading video titles are a really bad pet peeve of mine, and I'm certain that I'm not the only one who feels this way about it.

Easy to find as I been there several times. So no secret at all.
Also how can you be so bad as shooting or using common sense in a place like this? No tactical movement or anything.

To be fair.. travel to every star system intentionally and star stations pop up everywhere. They’re not hidden. But if you haven’t “explored” you won’t see it unless you go there. Exploration is the entire purpose of the game. 😂 🎉 🎉🎉 I have like 20 abandoned star stations I can go explore. All captured by spacers or zealots. Some by crimson fleet too.

Kind of lame though if there was a robot uprising should of had the station full of robots with dead humans on the ground not generic spacer enemies.

You made such a wild amount of assumptions in the first 2 minutes bro. Your thought process is clearly "i do something this way so this is how everyone does it". Its was extremely obnoxious for me hearing all the assumptions because literally none of them applied to me. I guess if a lot of your assumptions would have aligned with how I play the game I wouldnt have gotten so flustered. Hearing you say "you do this so then you probably do that and go this way and then you do it like this" over and over for 2 minutes was enough for me to never check out another one of your videos. I guess im just giving you a critique, and saying you'll probably be more engaging to some viewers if you dont HEAVILY assume what everyone does when theyre playing whatever game youre making a video about.
