In this video I talk about my Hunter build with top tree arcstrider and gemini gesters, focusing on removing radar and disrupting while shotgunning in Destiny 2 Season of the Lost Crucible PvP.

In this humorous display, it depicts a man opening a pack of mints and the instant reaction of his piers around him whom are eager to consume said mints. This idea is reinforced by having a dog, which would normally be unable to fathom the concept of an acquaintance sharing his mints; to add on that the typical dog would have no clue as to what a mint is, to also attempt to consume said mint. This is hilariously outlined by one of the acquaintances reactions "What the dog doin?"

There's a cooldown of a few seconds on the disorient effect, so you can't dodge>melee>dodge immediately to keep activating Gemini Jesters

Love geminis. Been maining them for a couple of weeks now, so fun. Fun fact, you do 1 damage when you disorient, so upon helping your teammates, help yourself with assist
I just watched some videos on Gabriel Zombei, and I saw you on there. I find it awesome that you do Yu-Gi-Oh and Destiny and are good at both.

Would have loved a small compare contrast to bottom tree arcstrider. Love the fast dodge recharge and feel it’s just as competitive.
Bottom tree is better if you aren't shotgunning, although there are probably better exotics to use at that point

Fun build, just used this with thorn and my max handling threatdetector sojourner and it’s something I will definitely be playing whenever I want to mosh it up.
hey drew, ever considered a bombadiers build? I've been using a build with them, a slug shotgun and arc. I basically cannot be out shotgunned defensively as arc bombadiers blinds enemies and leaves them at enough health to body shot with a slug, keeping me out of the danger range with shotguns

Ok drew... Hear me out. Keep everything in the build but try swapping Gemini with Bombardiers. Now to be fair I haven't tested this fully myself but the idea would be for the actual in your face moments because the bomb can "blind" or distort vision. I like that more than no radar because personally Gemini and invis isn't a burden for me like most people and if an enemy already has sight of me I can dodge to distort their actual vision get an increase to melee range with a potential increase in damage from the bomb going off near the enemy. Only downside is Bombardiers doesn't work throw wall.

Offensively it is good, if you shotty/melee one dude then you can one hit the other.
Defensively it’s also good, if someone hits you with a melee you can follow up with a guaranteed OHK melee
Also the instant health is nice rather than quick regen
A while ago I used Liars a hell of a lot in PVP... in one particular Control match, I killed the entire enemy team in the space of a few seconds.. I ran at them and just started dodge + meleeing between them until they were all dead. They're didn't know what was going on. It was glorious 🙌
Is quick charge still bugged?

Elemental cap on a stasis or arc sub is insane def try it

@@FrostyFin try it on stasis, the strafe speed while aiming messes people up, the handling on arc is lit though, feels like pre nerf qd!
Recommends one shotgun, showcases a different shotgun in the video lol. Love this build though, glad to see there’s at least two of us running flux grenades.
Happened to get the gameplay with that shotgun where my chat then reminded me that I owned the roll of the sudden death I said I would use lol

Yeah I think that's what Cammy uses for his Gemini build. Frenzy is actually pretty nice in rumble and control

I guess being weird worked out for me, I strafe lift into fights at -just- above head level when jumping a corner, instead of sliding, so the slide nerf doesn't affect me. Never did slide-shot very much before, and I don't notice it on my fusion rifles at all, so /shrug
I do like me some shenaniganery in the crucible though.
Does combination blow one hit kill with three stacks? I’ve never gotten it to do a one hit kill.

Geminis actually don’t work well with invis imo. They are kinda redundant. The point of invis is that the enemy has radar, but you aren’t on it, so they don’t expect you. If you take away their radar… what’s the point of the invis? They can’t see their radar anyway

I've seen a lot of people using the Jesters in the past few days. Generally, they don't seem too effective. They might work against low skill players, but against higher skilled players, the temporary lack of radar isn't much of a problem.
I would say it can be a bit map and opponent dependent but they definitely can mess with absolute demons on the upper crust of things.
I wouldn't necessarily run them on Trials in say something like Altar of Flame because realistically you're usually going to be taking fights with a bit of range and with such open space and only so many places to be with 3v3, it's going to be very obvious for all people involved where exactly someone is when you get tagged through a wall(say you're at B flag) and act accordingly. Similar deal with something like Burnout where it's very easy to know where someone will be regardless of stuff.
That being said I do think there are combinations when that radar removal does pair well with other classes and can lead to some worthwhile playmaking.
