Just to throw this out there, Monte Carlo gives melee energy and sometimes fully charges it. More melee=more grenades. Good option if you don’t have some of the amour mods.

The whole point of using Monte Carlo was to simulate this build using a placeholder, of course it's not going to be as good as the full build. I'm not saying it lives up to the meta endgame builds at all, I'm saying it's a good idea and will work fine in the meantime.

I've been running this build all season, with a few differences. Rather than having high Discipline, I want high Strength for faster melee recharge. I use Radiant Light instead of Seeking Wells on my other arc armor to boost me to tier 9 strength. There are solar wells everywhere so picking them up isn't an issue. This allows you to use Sunbracers more often, and makes Momentum Transfer better, but also less important when you need to swap out for Champion mods. Side note: it worked out with the rest of my armor mods that I was able to use Wrath of Rasputin as the solar explosions occasionally will create warmind cells as a fun bonus. It only costs 1 point to slot and is still viable/will also proc Explosive Wellmaker. I will also say that you can only create 2 solar wells from Elemental Ordinance per grenade, not per enemy killed with the grenade (I wish it was per enemy, but that would be busted). Unfortunately, as you said this isn't an endgame build as you can't reliably proc Sunbracer's, so other exotics/builds would serve you better/give you more utility. You have to secure the kill from the initial charged melee. If the enemy eventually dies from the burn inflicted from the melee, that doesn't count and will NOT proc Sunbracers. Even red bar trash enemies won't always die from a charged melee, and as you said you have to get close to enemies to get the unlimited grenades which can mean certain death on harder content. You can also kill yourself with a hastily thrown grenade if your health is already low. This build is extremely fun in "easier content" and you will get 2-4x more kills than your teammates due to the chained explosions.
Run with Sunshot if you want to add a demo perc shotty, explosive payload bow/ explosive upload scout or similar in kinetic. Pair with a dragonfly or firefly perc in power slot to add to the build.
PSA: when using the sword, during Alters of Sorrow, you can Light Light Heavy attack, to take the wizards down. This uses far less ammo, and you can do both wizards with 1 sword, and still have left over ammo. It's also a pretty cool, slice, slice, upper cut sequence.

Like telesto, weapons with explosive payload can create solar wells with rapid/multi kills from the explosive damage kills. In season of the lost, with bows being overload, Biting Wind can roll with Explosive payload.
I am thoroughly pleased with this build. You've actually made Attunement of Flame...GOOD! Ever since the release of D2, I've despised A.O.F because of its pathetic set of abilities. Everything in the node is geared towards augmenting its super, thus making it have a terrible neutral game with no extra damage output and no ability regeneration at all. Fast forward to today with how much the game has evolved and A.O.F can finally be used to make a good build. Elemental wells were what needed to happen to save bottom tree dawn from obscurity. With how much synergy elemental wells bring to the table for such little cost, it was incredibly easy to make any low-performing class good enough. The cherry on top was the "Well of Life" mod. That mod was what allowed this class to run up and slap someone in the face without having to worry about dying a few seconds later. All in all, you were able to make this class good and I applaud you for that. Making Attunement of Flame fun yet still effective is something I've failed to do ever since 2017. But being able to have consistent crowd control, consistent healing, insane ability regeneration, insane super regeneration and being able to do ALL of that while running is remarkable. In my opinion, Attunement of Flame is the worst class in the game and the fact that something like *this* exists shows how talented you are. You are truly one on the many masters of builds in Destiny 2. 👏👏👏
Ive really been loving your builds. Do you have any videos or even just advice for a attunement of grace warlock build? Ive been having a surprisingly difficult time finding one for this season which is weird considering how its considered essential for raids and such. The only advice I have been able to find is lunification boots or phoenix protocol and ... thats it
Sunbracers are always dope! I use a very similar build but with font of might to beef up the damage on the Cartesian Coordinate. Using this in haunted lost sectors you absolutely obliterate everything.

I really appreciate your builds. Two questions: 1) I think I saw in one of your videos you reset your season artifact quite often. If you do this, do you lose the mods you purchased the first time through the artifact upgrade? I’d love to reset my artifact for additional mods, but I do not want to lose the ones I have already collected. 2) Is there an easy way to get the Ashes to Assets mod? I'm using this sort of early game, top tree drawn and sunbracers is nuts. Throw the grenades from the air and then you'll get celestial fire back from all the grenade kills
I'm really hoping that when Bungie revamps solar classes, we can combine the massive fire explosions of bottom tree with the flight abilities of top tree. I just want to blow up stuff from the air.

If your talking straight PVE and any content from the easy stuff all the way to Grandmasters then Yes Warlocks overall are the best. Yes in some cases certain things shine brighter but in the big picture taking everything into the game Warlock by far are the best PVE class
Just do the Legend Lost Sectors 😊 they rotate daily so on a day that it is arms go on your warlock to hit and complete it. You have more of a exotic chance to drop one you don't currently have
So I finally got the arms exotic for the build, and was enjoying it, but I found it often hard to kill with my melee to trigger the unlimited nades. I switched to top tree Dawn, and man that was such an improvement. I do prefer bottom dawn for the heals and burn explosions, but it just didn't work with me.
Yeah I did a build like a year ago with top tree DawnBlade and that ranged melee is really nice to trigger everything. I do really like the explosions from bottom tree though lol it's a tough one
The buff they did to bottom tree Dawnblade is exactly what I wanted. The only way it would have been even better is if they also added Viking Funeral from D1.

@@Plunderthabooty I've tried a melee Liar's Handshake build its not my jam. Buuuut, I do have a savage melee ad clearing/orb generating build for stasis hunter. I've generated on average 60 orbs per strike or NF run.
If your at power level it's fine in 1320 stuff. 1350 stuff you need to play a little smarter when your going to melee something. Not good in GMs or Master raid 😊
Oh man definitely do it haha I get that question a lot about best character and which one to choose. My answer is always play all 3 😊 the difference in playstyles, abilities, subclasses and exotics make for a totally different experience on each which is something I love!
I've been running top tree dawnblade with my sunbracers and Monte Carlo. My strength is at 100 and it's nasty. I'll have to try and give this one a shot.
Do it! You don't have the range melee of course but the pay of is much better. The Chain reactions and explosions and also the super is way better for PVE than top tree
I'll get on and do that just my energy on some I may have to put the kids on other gear. But I'll see. Also the Necro grips are pretty nasty with bottom tree dawnblade too 😂
Plunda, if my Sunbracers aren't Arc (I have a Stasis and Solar set), looking for options on Momentum Transfer... On the Solar, the other option is Impact Induction = reverse mindset on melee or solar grenades. On the Stasis version, thinking about Melee Kickstart...
I use middle tree with Phoenix Protocol and I get my grenade and healing Rift back pretty fast where I can spam it and half of my super back run with master work weapon to get orbs of power so I can get the super faster
I run the same build with energy converter and with enough ads I can get my super energy back before the well runs out. I use witherhoard and ikelos smg with a single warmind cell mod. It's a really fun build to play with.
I've discovered your channel recently and honestly you're doing a great job ! Your builds are really interesting and I totally appreciate that you offer more than just one subclass build stating that it's the best: it's all up to our choices. The biggest problem is... I can't make up my mind and chose one! Thank you for another very helpful video.
Fun fact. Both Witherhoard explosions and blight damage when they're on the ground count as explosive damage, but the blight will only trigger Explosive Wellmaker once. Still, fire it into a crowd and get multiple kills with it and it'll net you FOUR wells.
Of course! I was using telesto because on a double kill it spawns 2 solar wells. 😊 but those 2 extra wells definitely aren't needed as you can see in the gameplay. Pretty overkill lol

This is awesome, even though I'm usually more of an arc or void lock ;) reckon a version of this could work on middle path? My team will love me if there were wells of radiance everywhere 🤣😅
Been following your videos for a while and enjoy them. Now I just have to say, from my experience, a handful of these builds (especially Warlock) seem to perform great in very casual content, and of course they look great running Altars or something with high density of weak enemies -- but I keep finding myself frustrated over and over as the builds fall flat on their faces in even remotely challenging content. Say, even a 1290 Nightfall. Whether the need for champion mods flattens the whole build, or enemies with just a touch more health totally break the flow as they aren't dying so quickly from melee / grenade attacks. I've been using a derivative of this build just randomly lately and the above issues are absolutely present. It barely holds together sometimes even running Haunted Sectors in the seasonal event. A lot of fun, and well thought out on paper. But, consistency just doesn't feel there.
I hope your not having issues with this in a haunted lost sector. If you are then your not doing something right. When it comes to harder content I have cleared the 1320 and 1350 Nightfalls with this build this week and just swapped champion mods on the gauntlets. You just have to pick and choose the target your going to melee and make sure you get that kill. Yup just like I said in the video 😊 Gambit, Strikes in good rooms, astral, alter of Sorrows, dungeons. Places like that. Definitely not a GM build though. But if your struggling in anything under 1320 and your at power level for it then something isn't right
@@Plunderthabooty not so much struggling but the flow of the build just isn't happening. It falls off and it's back to fundamentals to clear rooms rather than enjoying the great results of the build and uptime you get in easier content.
I know why it's doing it lol I just always thing of explosive Wellmaker as solar but I need to think just explosive. I should have added it to a few other builds I have done lol

The problem with this build in a difficult content especially in something that can 1 shot you is you need to get a melee kill to start everything. So it's just putting you at risk when you shouldn't be at risk ya know
I need too! My problem with that is half the GMs it's a Well for melting and the other half Stasis Warlock is better 🤔 So not sure how to title it and make sure people know that its dependent on what GM it is for that week
is it essential to use the explosive wellmaker and well of life mods? I dont have the season of splicer and i cant grab this mods, maybe i can run another mods? What u think?

Dude I put this together yet last yesterday best I could give and I don’t have like even even half the mods necessary and I also granted I was only on Kosmodrome staff but I was at the tank on Kosmodrome and I could literally destroy the tank myself and just seconds and have my grenades back in time to catch the next wave coming out of the sky one point right next to it and then turn around in like every other tank pop my ultimate and no destroy the tank again it was amazingly powerful and I literally don’t have any of that I mean I have like one Wellmaker bad and in dark I think I put a couple of mods to a double drop on getting my Mili back and then I also just pile barn Street in each piece because I didn’t have all the all the stuff you did and I’m still able to Jess play waste Irene it’s an amazingly powerful valve and it gave me a chance also to put do use the Midas sad which I’ve been really dying to use again since I started playing I’m like why does nobody ever use this the submachinegun is also add a tractor scout rifles pretty good to want to use them as a sad and then I also palled I forget the name of it but I pulled a legacy rocket launcher that had auto reload on it because I didn’t have space for a Mazda auto reload it and it’s just fine for the contact I’m doing right now so every time I need it I can pull it out and it’s loaded fire around and then put it away next time I pull it out it’s loaded again I was having a blast with this I was literally just farm and I went to the tank just a farm 00 what do you call a David but the currency mom I expect all this money buying whatever models were available and several other things and I was broke so I decided just go far bad thing for a little while and I was just slamming it white one after another people with common garden matter I was destroying it all by myself it’s a good building it’s a shame that everybody gets so wrapped up in the new meta-void 3.0 is it’s nice and the artifact is got some really powerful wine easy to use mods or cheap do use mods in it but solar in our car still really powerful true when you put it together right
I have an very important question why does the Perk of the Sunbracers dont activate when they suppose to? Me and a friend both habe the same Problem. The Exo says it needs a Solar Hit but it doesnt matter if i Hit or kill something with my Solar melee the perk wont activate. Why is that?

Polaris Lance also works great as a weapon choice, the burn from Perfect Fifth counts for the chaining explosions

This rarely works, but sometimes Jotunn activates Igniting Touch, this might be a good weapon choice for this build
They fixed that with the FOTL patch. It made a brutal combo with necro grips

You always can only just choose 12 Mods from the artifact 😊 Check Ada 1 in the tower for mods

Yeah I did a build like a year ago with top tree DawnBlade and that ranged melee is really nice to trigger everything. I do really like the explosions from bottom tree though lol it's a tough one

The buff they did to bottom tree Dawnblade is exactly what I wanted. The only way it would have been even better is if they also added Viking Funeral from D1.

@@Plunderthabooty I've tried a melee Liar's Handshake build its not my jam. Buuuut, I do have a savage melee ad clearing/orb generating build for stasis hunter. I've generated on average 60 orbs per strike or NF run.

If your at power level it's fine in 1320 stuff. 1350 stuff you need to play a little smarter when your going to melee something. Not good in GMs or Master raid 😊

Oh man definitely do it haha I get that question a lot about best character and which one to choose. My answer is always play all 3 😊 the difference in playstyles, abilities, subclasses and exotics make for a totally different experience on each which is something I love!

I've been running top tree dawnblade with my sunbracers and Monte Carlo. My strength is at 100 and it's nasty. I'll have to try and give this one a shot.
Do it! You don't have the range melee of course but the pay of is much better. The Chain reactions and explosions and also the super is way better for PVE than top tree
I'll get on and do that just my energy on some I may have to put the kids on other gear. But I'll see. Also the Necro grips are pretty nasty with bottom tree dawnblade too 😂

Plunda, if my Sunbracers aren't Arc (I have a Stasis and Solar set), looking for options on Momentum Transfer... On the Solar, the other option is Impact Induction = reverse mindset on melee or solar grenades. On the Stasis version, thinking about Melee Kickstart...

I use middle tree with Phoenix Protocol and I get my grenade and healing Rift back pretty fast where I can spam it and half of my super back run with master work weapon to get orbs of power so I can get the super faster
Very nice!
I run the same build with energy converter and with enough ads I can get my super energy back before the well runs out. I use witherhoard and ikelos smg with a single warmind cell mod. It's a really fun build to play with.

Can you make content specific build for every guardian that can be used solo or in a fire team. So far amazing content keep it up!
Fun fact. Both Witherhoard explosions and blight damage when they're on the ground count as explosive damage, but the blight will only trigger Explosive Wellmaker once. Still, fire it into a crowd and get multiple kills with it and it'll net you FOUR wells.

Of course! I was using telesto because on a double kill it spawns 2 solar wells. 😊 but those 2 extra wells definitely aren't needed as you can see in the gameplay. Pretty overkill lol

Been following your videos for a while and enjoy them. Now I just have to say, from my experience, a handful of these builds (especially Warlock) seem to perform great in very casual content, and of course they look great running Altars or something with high density of weak enemies -- but I keep finding myself frustrated over and over as the builds fall flat on their faces in even remotely challenging content. Say, even a 1290 Nightfall. Whether the need for champion mods flattens the whole build, or enemies with just a touch more health totally break the flow as they aren't dying so quickly from melee / grenade attacks. I've been using a derivative of this build just randomly lately and the above issues are absolutely present. It barely holds together sometimes even running Haunted Sectors in the seasonal event.
A lot of fun, and well thought out on paper. But, consistency just doesn't feel there.
I hope your not having issues with this in a haunted lost sector. If you are then your not doing something right. When it comes to harder content I have cleared the 1320 and 1350 Nightfalls with this build this week and just swapped champion mods on the gauntlets. You just have to pick and choose the target your going to melee and make sure you get that kill. Yup just like I said in the video 😊 Gambit, Strikes in good rooms, astral, alter of Sorrows, dungeons. Places like that. Definitely not a GM build though. But if your struggling in anything under 1320 and your at power level for it then something isn't right
@@Plunderthabooty not so much struggling but the flow of the build just isn't happening. It falls off and it's back to fundamentals to clear rooms rather than enjoying the great results of the build and uptime you get in easier content.

Telesto with explosive wellmaker is generating solar wells because explosive wellmaker generates solar wells on explosive kills.
I know why it's doing it lol I just always thing of explosive Wellmaker as solar but I need to think just explosive. I should have added it to a few other builds I have done lol

The problem with this build in a difficult content especially in something that can 1 shot you is you need to get a melee kill to start everything. So it's just putting you at risk when you shouldn't be at risk ya know
You can't run it in highest content because you pretty much need a well, and you're not going to be popping off getting lots of kills.

I need too! My problem with that is half the GMs it's a Well for melting and the other half Stasis Warlock is better 🤔 So not sure how to title it and make sure people know that its dependent on what GM it is for that week

Definitely try it out! So instead try slotting maybe 2 more Grenade Wellmaker? So you'll still spawn 4 wells with each grenade 🤔

Dude I put this together yet last yesterday best I could give and I don’t have like even even half the mods necessary and I also granted I was only on Kosmodrome staff but I was at the tank on Kosmodrome and I could literally destroy the tank myself and just seconds and have my grenades back in time to catch the next wave coming out of the sky one point right next to it and then turn around in like every other tank pop my ultimate and no destroy the tank again it was amazingly powerful and I literally don’t have any of that I mean I have like one Wellmaker bad and in dark I think I put a couple of mods to a double drop on getting my Mili back and then I also just pile barn Street in each piece because I didn’t have all the all the stuff you did and I’m still able to Jess play waste Irene it’s an amazingly powerful valve and it gave me a chance also to put do use the Midas sad which I’ve been really dying to use again since I started playing I’m like why does nobody ever use this the submachinegun is also add a tractor scout rifles pretty good to want to use them as a sad and then I also palled I forget the name of it but I pulled a legacy rocket launcher that had auto reload on it because I didn’t have space for a Mazda auto reload it and it’s just fine for the contact I’m doing right now so every time I need it I can pull it out and it’s loaded fire around and then put it away next time I pull it out it’s loaded again I was having a blast with this I was literally just farm and I went to the tank just a farm 00 what do you call a David but the currency mom I expect all this money buying whatever models were available and several other things and I was broke so I decided just go far bad thing for a little while and I was just slamming it white one after another people with common garden matter I was destroying it all by myself it’s a good building it’s a shame that everybody gets so wrapped up in the new meta-void 3.0 is it’s nice and the artifact is got some really powerful wine easy to use mods or cheap do use mods in it but solar in our car still really powerful true when you put it together right

I have an very important question why does the Perk of the Sunbracers dont activate when they suppose to? Me and a friend both habe the same Problem. The Exo says it needs a Solar Hit but it doesnt matter if i Hit or kill something with my Solar melee the perk wont activate. Why is that?

No. Only the mods in the compass that rotate weekly are there. Those would be at Ada1 or Banshee with all the other mods
