@plunderthabooty this is a note. With the new ability changes with heat rises active once you Phoenix dive applies 220 scorch when in super. It instantly ignites a target meaning you don’t need the fragment that ignites on super kills
That’s intended I tried to ignite out of super with dive but didn’t work then when in super I did the same and they instantly ignited so is it intended.
I went and did this build, it got me through a super hard fight on solo legendary and then Dynamo was disabled 10 minutes later. I did go do it in Sorrow’s Harbor and it was really fun, but it gets boring after a couple minutes. Either way, this build was awesome for the one day it was available.
The problem is he is smarter than the average bird. Destiny already found out about this build. U cant use dynamo on ur helmet now. Sucks. He will have good insight on builds just from this video he seems to know what the overall aspects and give or take value in creating a build very well. Sucks they already patched this. Im pissed. Trying to solar on legendary thought I just got lucky 😡🤬😡
Mods seem pretty self explanatory I think what I would like to see is numbers as to how much a mods adds to the build and how much does it diminishes when stacked. I have never liked that many games done add that in the game description, you have to rely on some 3rd party app to tell you that or find it in the wiki, just straight up say so in the game description already 😆
Plunder from the bottom of my heart thank you for this build ❤️ I just used it to beat legendary campaign and I wouldn't have been able to without it, keep up the awesome work dude!!!! 😁👍
legendary is so easy especially final boss with using nothing but strand subclass. that lifting the enemy stuff whatever the name is busted for everything except the final boss.
I cannot put dynamo on my helm.. it is greyed out. Did they stealth "fix" this?... Never mind they disabled it and it is on their twitter that it is disabled.
This was a lot of fun to play with but even with the dash you can find yourself needing to cover too much ground to keep this going in some parts of the campaign. At least for me. Super fun (pun intended) otherwise!

@@Glenjamin89 Alright, so, I am going to have to speak from memory since I am not at my PC right now: Super: Well obviously Class ability: Phoenix dive, for the Restoration X2 Melee: Incinerator snap preferred, it's probably the most powerful melee in the game, it can instant ignite any enemy and easily one shots 90% of red bars in any difficulty (except for bullet sponges in GMs, e.g. gladiators and such, but will heavily damage them) Grenade : Solar, obviously Aspects: Heat rises (needed for Restoration X2 from Phoenix dive) Touch of flame (enhanced solar nades) Fragments (I don't know their names from heart, so read the fragment description of the fragment, not the name): 1) of singeing? : The one that returns class energy from scorching enemies, needed to get dive faster 2) of ashes?: The one that adds more scorch stacks, necessary if using incinerator snap, so you can proc ignite instantly 3) of torches: The one that makes your melee give radiant. Nice fragment in all solar builds 4) of empyrean: duration of restoration and radiant extends on solar kills (used to get Restoration X2 (and radiant) for a good duration) Now, there are new solar fragments from Light fall. The one that makes your solar grenade kills cure you sounds very interesting for this build, I've tried it, but I prefer my old fragments (I replaced ember of singeing with it, but I prefer faster dive cd. If you think your dive recharges fast enough without singeing, you can use this new fragment) Weapons: Any you like, though solar energy is preferred because we are using ember of empyrean (you can extend it with solar abilities alone, but this is a useful backup) Artifact armor: Haven't unlocked whole artifact yet, but I've already unlocked some of the best mods yet: the one that makes your grenade armor mods cheap (only 1 energy I think) and the one that makes your solar mods cheap. The void mod discount one is great as well, but it's not utilized in this build. Armor stats: 100 resilience necessary (it was a bit nerfed, but that's the exact reason you need it to be 100) When you reach 100 resilience, you can then aim for 100 recovery or 100 discipline (100 disciple is useful for when you mess up your ability chains and lose both grenade and melee, so you get your nade faster) Helmet mods: currently running triple ashes to assets (artifact grenade mod makes that cost only 1 energy each). Don't know if the third one contributes anything to additional super energy yet, so you can switch the 3rd for something else: orb on rapid solar weapon kills for example. Arms: Firepower mod is absolutely MUST have here, it gives you an orb of power on grenade kill (basically elemental ordnance from before). You can stack 2 firepower mods, but I don't recommend it cause it doesn't give you 2 orbs, but makes your 1 orb stronger (more super energy on pickup I'd guess, so unnecessary in my opinion). I use 1 firepower, 1 momentum transfer (grenade damage to melee energy, very useful) and bolstering detonation (grenade damage to class ability energy) Chest: i use that new armor charge mod that gives you damage reduction when in crit health, if you have 3 stacks of armor charges. Currently using 2 of them, however, I don't think that's useful that much so far, probably going to switch one of them to the one that allows you to stack additional armor charges (you can stack max 3 without those mods) Legs. Currently running 3x Absolution mods (lol). I wanted to have my elemental well gameplay back, so I used this to get my ability energy back when picking up orbs of power. I don't know how much the Third absolution adds to the ability energy, so if you think the difference is diminishing, change it to something else, like ammo scavenger or "font of might" (be warned, it makes your armor charges have a timer that once it expires you lose a stack) Now, I don't know what difference between Absolution and cheaper mods that give back specific ability energy. If they give equal energy back, I'd definitely use absolution over the specific ones. It gives decent ability energy back. Bond: gotta be honest, this one troubles me, have to do more testing. Currently using two Utility kick-starts (the mod will trigger even without any armor charge, like the old mod, it gives more energy with more stacks (it will spend all stacks you have at the moment). If using font of might mod on legs, definitely replace at least one utility kickstart with time dilation. So, that's pretty much my build, additional tips: 1) font of might is very easily procced now (literally pick up an orb, from super example). I don't know the current damage buff this thing gives, but it definitely sounds great to use in raids for boss DPS (a warlock puts down a well, everyone else gets this buff if they have font of might equipped). Use time dilation so that buff and armor charge stacks last longer. 2) gameplay tips: how to use the sunbracers build: 1) eat your grenade to proc heat rises (so that when you dive you get Restoration X2) 2) go melee an ad (on easier difficulty , you can even one shot powerful enemies with ignite) How to use incinerator snap: AIM FOR THE FEET (sorry for all caps, trying to make you remember this very useful tip most people don't know). If you aim for the feet, you will trigger the ignite from scorch from the melee ALONE. To be 100% consistent, I like to jump close to the enemy and fire the snap right under me (if the enemy is underneath me, of course). That way , it will always proc ignite WARNING: if the ad you are trying to kill with melee is already affected by scorch from a DIFFERENT source (be it a grenade, incandescent or dive), it will NOT count as a melee kill if you hit it with your melee and ignite it. This can, however, work in your favor: Hit an enemy with you snap first: if it doesn't trigger the ignite, throw a nade or something that adds scorch stacks to ignite the enemy: if the enemy ignites and dies from it, it WILL count as a melee kill (because scorch stacks from the melee affected the enemy FIRST) 3) While the enemy is in ignite animation and if you think it's going to die from it, use your DIVE. During heat rises, it now gives you 3 seconds of restoration X2 (major buff, also helps people who had trouble with timing it before). Because of this duration buff, you can now use your dive before you even throw the melee, but you're gonna have to kill the enemy fast (useful if enemy has very low HP and will die from melee itself, not ignite) 4) throw infinite nades (sunbracers work so that you first have 4 seconds of buff that during so if you throw a single nade, it will trigger another buff which gives you infinite nades for 4-5, seconds, meaning you don't have to throw your first nade immediately, but only before the first buff expires to trigger the second buff (infinite nades). You can also eat heat rises during the first buff to trigger second buff) I like to keep my grenade ability charge full before the perk ends, so that I have a grenade/heat rises ready when the effect ends (meaning don't just keep throwing nades during the whole buff, just until a second is left, so you get your full charge back). This is optional, but I think very useful. You can also easily extend duration of restoration X2 from your grenade kills as well (just dive during heat rises when you think an enemy is going to die soon from your nade) If you have any questions, feel free to ask :) Edit: feel free to change my build however you like, or tell me your own advice, it's possible I might've missed something. This is a work in progress build that I made pretty fast so that I can jump right away on that fun expansion story.
