The only use I’ve seen of the Sanguine Alchemy, is when one player discovered they could use it with Touch of Malice to continually regenerate health while firing the Blight shot. So they could shoot it repeatedly while surviving, to subvert the drawback that eats away at your health.

Apotheosis Veil has one good use: It turns every Super into a Panic Super, and is a good "swap exotic" in Trials because of it. You want to use your super at the best time, but when you're getting focused and it's 3-4, this lets you pop it and clutch instead of activating your super at half-health and getting mowed down.

Sanguine Alchemy was actually my favorite exotic in the game before it got reworked. It used to let you see all enemies through walls while standing in your rift and was amazing for holding down points and giving you the upper hand in PvP. Still niche but it actually had a use that could be utilized to win fights unlike how it is now. I still remember logging in and that feeling of dread when I noticed that they butchered my baby for seemingly no reason

@@SirBeast1992 Back when D2 launched it was a much slower paced game that relied on teamshotting and team fighting to win. That and Trials, back then called Trials of the Nine, had a different style of play. It wasn't like how Trials of Osiris is. Sanguine Alchemy was meta because it gave an undeniable advantage over the team not using them. And Sanguine stayed that way through Shadowkeep, iirc. It's mostly remembered during year 1 PvP, but it had a slight resurgence with Le Monarque since Empowering Rift makes Monarque OHK with a crit. That and Sanguine applied in Well of Radiance as well, iirc.

So, instead of choosing Healing, or Empowering, or Phoenix, I was given the opportunity to choose which one was best suited from moment to moment. The full build I had created included Forerunner, Healing Grenade, and a Glaive, which also allowed me to choose between the two Grenades depending on the situation, and gave me an option for Damage Resist in the Glaive Shield, if I found myself in a sticky (pun intended) situation. With incinerator snap, you can cause an ignition if all 5 projectiles are aimed correctly and connect on a single target. Ignitions inherit damage multipliers from their source. Incredibly hard to pull off, but this deals damage similar to the wormgod shoulder charge. Needless to say, add clearing using the snap method isn't only sustainable infinitely, but it also 1shots almost every major in the game.

as someone who rocks Necrotic and Mantle I would like to make some corrections:
actually just a hard core PVE fan. I started out as the old boomer going for skull because it was like Obsidian mind, and then I spiraled more from Skull to Void sin, to just loving elemental builds so much that Mantle of Battle Harmony just glued itself to my chest. the only time I rip it off is when I wanna one tap ostea striga with necrotic grips and watch an army of adds erupt into a chain reaction of green mist.

I use Necrotic Grips with Osteo Striga, alongside a glaive (usually Enigma). The glaive melee can proc the Grips poison effect, which will restore ammo to the Striga's mag. Even better if you have Grave Robber on the glaive, and a heavy with Auto Loading Holster. No reloading ever :D

    Secant Filimants/Contraverse Hold for Void
Mantle of Battle Harmony/Starfire Protocol for Solar
Getaway Artist/Crown of Tempests for Arc
This is all for PvE mainly cause I'm not a big fan of PvP outside of souls games.
And yeah, you're not wrong about Secant Mains.
