I then fiddled around a bit with ophidians and felwinters with warlock in pvp and have never looked back. As both a new player and warlock main your videos have proven real helpful for me, keep it up!

As a warlock main since D1, (and I have no hunter or Titan either) I remember the early early crucible days where warlocks conquered the crucible easily. Now I struggle to to stay in the #2 spot for overall performance in crucible. How time flies and it’s flow back right to warlocks being on top again (well of radiance).

The third or arguably main reason behind not using blink is how it's hitboxes work Essentially until the blink is completely finished your hitbox will be simultaneously where you're blinking to and where you originally was. This, combined with P2P matchmaking means alot of the time you will be killed inside your blink or even after your blink because your hitbox is still where you used to be. Along with your own/opponents connection extending the duration. Though, blink is really fun - when you get good at it you can reach chokes and locations much faster - incredibly good if you use zone control weapons or you know - a sniper rifle. Plus blink is fun and unless you're an uber sweat you're rarely find the type of players that can track and kill you that this video mentions. Also, dont default to what's popular though spends the whole game using HC shotgun ;P

One tip, balanced glide will give you more height while using heat rises (mobility also helps, so keep a single set of high mobility armor for quick-swapping onto) which is useful for a few skips in PvE content, if you need to do those. Outside of that, burst glide is the best jump in the game (don't listen to people who complain about warlock jumps) and blink is the most unique
My thing about blink is it’s a play style all in its own. Now the exotic helmet helps the blink massively but I prefer my aspects man I can’t play without them lol. I main blink on voidlock because I play on console and I’m able to make some crazy plays especially against titans hiding behind their wall haha

Strafe glide is worth using if you're spamming heat rises, it swaps your jump around when you pop it so you go much faster if on strafe glide in heat rises (or dawnblade)

You proably know this already but snap canceling helps with icarus dash skating and general movement. Using it with T-steps lets you stack momentum on jumps fast and easily allows you to outrun anything short of a thundercrash. Great with bows too
I absolutely love these Warlock PvP guides. Very few Warlock mains out there. Can you do a video or Stormcaller? I really struggle to use it in PvP. Specifically, bottom tree.
Run up close to enemy team thunderbolt go boom stormtrance finishes whoever didnt get killed by thunderbolt the grenade is also very good at area denial

I was a hunter main in D1 and at the start of D2 but the past 2 years I have become a warlock main and I feel nerfed when I play pvp on other classes lol
for me personally i run strength at 70 because of the way karnsteins work, i want to use my karnsteins and get them involved and also having my top tree dawn melee back as often as possible so they can kill at range and saving my life and/ or making it easier to re peek somebody. Personally karnsteins are very useful in trials and and 3v3 modes but for quickplay i would rather run something like transversives or ophidians for the fast swap. find your own stats you dont have to copy hes build if it doesnt fit you.
I have looked everywhere but no one on the internet has made a good comparison post/video yet. Could you test Nezarec’s Sin VS Mantle of Battle Harmony? And how does Thresh and Osmosis come in to play on these builds? Thank you!
Just coming back to destiny, whats your favorite hand cannon? I haven't played since Forsaken, so the ace of spades is the only good one I have. Curious what else I should be grinding for, hand cannons are my favorite
so i think you and i think alike and its good to know that i wasnt far off in my build and stats . i currently run stasis lock with a stat spread of 5/6/10/10/6/7 and i like the uptume on my abilities . but in trials i never see a super ever at 6 intel . do you think i should just dump as much intel into my melee for the triple 100s or do i take away from melee and dump into intel . just wanted a professional opinion . most people would just change the subclass i suppose but it took me so long to get everything together with the perfect stats . i dont wanna start over.

I don’t like using burst glide, strafe has saved me so many times it doesn’t seem worth using burst. I tend to run 100 recovery, 100 discipline, since I’m constantly using my grenade, either for an effect or for damage, and 30 reselience. I’ve run 50, to nullify body shots on high impact snipers, but I don’t see it that often, so I run 30 to prevent some other TTK changes. Should I really give up my grenade for the reselience bump?

Its a case of using burst glide then as you do your initial jump it will give you a burst you press your jump again to cancel the glide just after the boost then just practice your pace of jumping its all about abusing the burst part of the glide. For a initial speed boost! Good luck bro with great power comes crazy speed lol
What do you men going above 80 discipline provides diminishing returns? tier 9 to tier 10 provides the second largest cooldown reduction. IMO its always worth it to get to 10 discipline, more so than recovery considering the subclass 3.0 updates we're getting.
What updates will those be? We know they are reworking void but no detail in what way. So until then recovery is king and even with the rework will be king imo.

We can see with stasis that they'll revolve around buffing or rewarding status effects, and the grenades will likely get updated to apply more status effects (magnetic and axion = volatile, vortex and voidwall = weaken). point is grenades are getting even stronger or more useful, and 9 to 10 discipline provides the largest cooldown reduction. Recovery's benefits do have diminishing returns so reaching tier 10 is not as impactful. All my warlock builds have 10 discipline and 8-10 recovery. Less than 8 recovery or less than 10 discipline means I won't use that build

Depends, as long as you get your super in round 4-5 you're still good. Better to spend those points to have a grenade up every round or better recovery.
The 50/50 rule for rifts is HUGE for your survivability. So many people just throw their rift down and think they're invincible. News flash - you're not
So, I know this is really a pointless build. But. Running necrotic grip and middle tree void or solar gives you the ability to one shot any guardian. No matter what resilience.
Talks about needing an exotic being essential for blink being a bad thing…then basically says an exotic for too tree dawn being great. Play what you want to play my fellow warlocks, enjoy destiny and be unique!

I've been farming LOS this week. Easy GM for prisms, shards, and exotics. Not so much pallys though, my last 10 runs I had a swarm every time ffs 😭

I had 6 warlocks on D1, 3 for each console, and had 3 in the beginning of D2 before the nerf.

I like necrotic grips but I prefer ophidian aspect for the boost in handeling! XUR is selling a decent roll now too!
