Yep, on any new playthrough to get regular weapons to +12 right off the bat is pretty quick. You just need the two lift medallions, which are super easy, and you're good to go.
i love how challenge runners are no longer just trying to get through the game with a certain weapon, they're trying to get through the game while being as cool as possible and getting the number as high as it can go
I’ve been waiting for someone to make a build with this weapon because it has some unique mechanics that you didn’t take advantage of, it’s running attacks and r1 block while attacking, if you run a life steal build and spam r1 you should be able to heal more dmg than you take

I used this shield against promised consort pre-nerf and just guard-attack mashed my way through the fight with the held of the two-headed turtle talisman, it's truly the easy mode weapon, it can even hit people behind you depending on the attack

I miss the days when challenge runners weren't also trying to speedrun. Like make a mistake and restart the boss fight, that's not using your head or skill that's hitting refresh till the stars align for you.

Idk abt you but we always told EVERYONE about glitches. There were whole books about it and RUclips was ridden with glitches in popular games ( like halo) when RUclips started
It does feel a little like a cheat but personally, I did DS1 with a walkthrough bc it was so daunting and now 8 years later, I’m a huge fan of souls and do SL1 runs whenever I’m bored :)
New players can find videos and guides about the strongest weapons, rune farms to overlevel, and how to one shot/cheese/break every boss in the game. It's their decision to follow something that may make their first playthrough less enjoyable, and it would be a shame to limit people in what they do in the game and share with others because of that in my opinion

Its not cheating if its in the game and not altering code or exploiting unintended issues, which this isn't.
If the first thing you do when you get a new game is look up broken builds and exploits, that's your problem
