My favorite part of the video was when chris, domo, and aggy all said "you know what gang? the real Elden Ring was the friends we made along the way." and then they all hit the griddy into the sunset

Dark moon GS was rough for when you all were fighting the multiple dragons, but having a strong ranged attack for the back to back Godfrey double battles saved you a tonnnn of time
Yeah even the worst boss matchups for DMGS is still better than some other weapons, especially if they can still be frozen like Adula
Honestly, out of all the Magic focused weapons you could be stuck with to fight Adula, DMGS is arguably the best one cause you can actually aim for headshots with the buffed R2s, thus mitigating the high Magic resistances a bit, on top of getting multiple free damage windows with the high stagger rate.
That dance-off was easily the best bet you guys have placed on a rando race, I was in tears. Please do more of those

It's so hard to know who to cheer for in a race when you watch all of them, in fact it's incredibly disorienting since my brain keeps swapping all the time.
Also what an amazing dance-off, so evenly matched.
Yeah that's interesting, haven't thought of that before. Maybe I'll try to have it focus on me more in the future or something idk lol
I personally love the cuts between the different perspectives. It lets you compare progress and you get to see even more close calls,,great fights , near misses of important stuff etc.
@@star0chrismaybe you could do a colour around the border of the video so the switching is less disorienting (I.e. when you switch to Aggy, the vid could have a blue border or smth)

someone needs to show rusty this video, he has ranked the helphen steeple higher than darkmoon gs twice now but look how the two performed against the crucible knight duo it speaks for itself
DMGS is definitely better than Steeple (granted you have the stats for DMGS), and I think Steeple is still really good
To be fair to Steeple, it significantly out-damages Moonlight in melee range on a str/int build. While buffed it has the exact same frostbite buildup (not counting the difference in heavy attack modifiers), the buff itself adds 45 more magic damage than Darkmoon does with its buff, and it already has 54 more base AR and better strength scaling, plus the buff is faster while lasting the same duration. Really what DMGS has over Steeple is the ranged attacks and the consistent stagger that comes with that constant pressure, as well as its better damage profile for pure inteligence without strength investment... but of course that's a lot considering how certain talismans affect it, and its especially useful in 1v2 scenarios like the Duo fight and the dragons with their weak spots above the ground. Steeple is quite good, don't sleep on it. Even on a dedicated int build at 80 it still slightly outdamages Moonlight in melee while both are buffed, but in a duo fight of course range advantage plays a big part.
@@bdizzle7072yea man steeple is great i’ve done a few runs with it but i don’t think the extra damage it gets edges it out over the DMGS with all of its pros

I didn't notice the turning point in my life from which I watched Elden Ring challenge runners do fortnite dances
I was there when watching the live stream from Aggy's RUclips channel. That crucible fight at Hoarah Loux massively contributes towards his defeat (if memory correct, the fight takes more than 5 minutes per phase).
Ultimately, right dance-off winner at the end.

DMGS is one of the best weapons in the game for sure
This run had both the best and worst luck I've ever seen. The weapons were amazing, but the bosses sucked. Key items weren't too far out of the way, but getting some decent damage was only possible after mountaintops, basically, even with weapons as good as those. It could have very easily gone on for much longer.

How did chris finish with a 2:19 while they were on 2:09? Were they using igt?
THe other two used in game time while chris used real life time. Thats why they differed. Chris mentioned it in the beginning
because sometimes their game crashes or they leave to reset the ennemy AI ect...
