They only saw us on their way out. We didn't care; we couldn't see Joe et al from where we were sitting, but we heard their whole convo and it was one of the most entertaining lunches I'd ever had.

it was revenge for Billy Batts, Billy was a made guy and Tommy wasn't, we had to stand by and take it, it was between the Italians, real grease ball shit
Joe Pesci is truly one of my heroes. It takes true talent to jump from humor to top notch drama, and only very few such as the late great Robin Williams, pull it off. Hats off to you Joe, we do miss you bro!
Robin WILLIAMS! What the overactor who embarrassed us in 'Patch Adams's? Having said which he seemed a decent bloke and his suicide was sad. When he was well directed, cast against type he could be terrific. Too often Hollywood encouraged his manic irritant act, which is NOT acting. I mean Good Morning, Vietnam' with its grotesque changes of register
I tell people this all the time. Although he won an Oscar for his role in Goodfellas, and while it may have been a slightly better movie, he had a lot more scenes in Casino. Not only that but the dialogue between him and De Niro in Casino were some of the best I've ever seen in cinema. He could have easily won an Oscar for that role as well but I guess since he already won an Oscar for a similar role in Goodfellas he gets a lot more praise for it. However I too thought he did an even better job and played an even more ruthless character in Casino.
He was heavily underrated in Casino. The scene with him and De Niro in the desert was the best "argument" acting I've seen to date. I'd love Pesci to come out of retirement and get back into acting. Gifted actors like him need to teach some of today's actors a few lessons about the profession.
You're right it's not all about Pesci being in more scenes but the roles he played in both of those movies were very similar and weren't distinctly different from one another. That kind of gangster role is what got him the Oscar in Goodfellas to begin with. So what I'm saying is in Casino you get a bit more from him as that type of character which fans of Pesci like myself may have enjoyed and appreciated a little more because he was in more scenes and had a lot more dialogue between him and De Niro that wasn't scripted in Goodfellas as much as it was in Casino. Not to say one or the other is the better movie because I love them both but as far as Pesci and De Niro's work in both of those classics I would have to say I think they gave an even better performance in Casino.
Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2,The Wet Bandits. Gone Fishin',Joe Pesci and Danny Glover. I love those movies.I'm 52 years old but I never skip an opportunity to watch Home Alone movies.

He’s to make his screen comeback in the upcoming Martin Scorsese flick: ‘The Irishman’ with an all star Mob cast; Robert DeNiro as Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran, Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa, Harvey Keitel as Angelo Bruno and Pesci is to play as Russell Bufalino. Anticipating if you ask me.
He makes a good ganster mobster. He s too good to act as an out right goon. The only draw back i have is the swearing the movie makers seem to think it needs to inhance their movie. Mostly having joe p useit so much. Other wise i haven see any other glitches in his perfomances. Way. To. Go. Joe.
Why doesn't anybody talk about his role in "The Super"? That was one of his funniest movies by far. He plays a Jewish slumlord named Luis Kritski who gets court ordered to move into his own building until it's brought up to code and from there it's hysterical. If nobody has seen it I highly recommend it as it is definitely one of my all time favorite Joe Pesci movies.
to me,he's one of the best actor ever, the one who can do many characters & win people's hearts..even if he did a few movies but am sure he is still very known like ever
I grew up with Joe Pencil in Belleville , NJ. He played hollow body guitar and sang songs , also did stand up comedy. My favorite was him doing porky pig at Yankee Stadium. I laughed so hard I cried. I first met Joe in 1959 at Saint Mary's C Y O. My mom just had been ill for a while . My cousins whom which I sang with , told me we were going to the dance at cyo. That night on stage with his band was Joe. He sang a song called My Mother's Eyes. No need to say tears came to my eyes thinking about my mom. He noticed me crying ,.when he came down he asked if I was ok. My cousin explained about my mom. I can go on about growing up with him , and the four Seasons and others in Jersey ,but we all don't have that much time. Lol. I lost contact when I went off to school to become an executive chef. I'd love to see Joey again. I got a million stories I can tell you about Joe Pencil. All good.
One of my favourite actors, unbelievably versatile. A living legend. I hope the Irishman is a great film, it may be the final time we see him and De Niro together in a film.
Good video! I'm glad to see that Joe is happy. It's really good that you bleeped the foul language. Not everybody wants to hear it and that was very good of you to think of those people. 1Thumbs Up. Thank You, Merry Christmas, and Godspeed!
"My Cousin Vinny"! Vintage now, but still a great flick to watch. He's solid funny! Favorite scene was when he was sleeping out in the car because the town was too noisy and woke up to mud! LOL
Did you even watch the whole thing? He says multiple times that he comes back for choice roles and that it is absolutely possible to see him in the future. What else did you have a gripe with?
Jose Rodriguez Martin Scorsese are gathering all of them up for his upcoming movie called The Irishmen. Al Pacino and Harvey Keital are going to be in it too!
Don't forget 'Public eye' with Barbara Hershey where he turned in a genuinely unique, brilliant and touching performance. So sad the film is not readily available. I have a VCR copy which is one of the few ways you can watch it. Pesci I think, is my favourite actor.
Pesci should not be forgotten in JFK. He delivered a riveting performance and implanted memorable lines in the public consciousness. Enigma wrapped in a riddle... But maybe the powers that be want that ignored. Fuck them. I remember! I remember a lot.
Jimothy Snooker yeah the actor who plays Riggs takes it in a new and different direction give it chance damian Waynes is actually really likeable and in this series they dive deep into Riggs backstory with his wife.
I don't doubt it's a successful show but it didn't need a remake. it's a pure money grab. it's just crazy to me that everything gets a television remake. even Macgyver for fuck sake. maybe I should check them out before being so harsh.
No you should worship Jesus Christ Joe Pesci doesn't care about you he doesn't love you he doesn't know you exist so why should you worship him he is just a man
ma pi We should! Sidenote, George Carlin died way too soon! I'd love to see him rekt modern media's ass. The bullshittery from when he was around has more than doubled since. Rip

Did you even watch the whole thing? He says multiple times that he comes back for choice roles and that it is absolutely possible to see him in the future. What else did you have a gripe with?
one of the greatest actor's of all time...we need him back on the big screen.
He's supposed to be in ""The Irishman"" next year
I would love Martin Scorcese to work with him one more time.
Jose Rodriguez Martin Scorsese are gathering all of them up for his upcoming movie called The Irishmen. Al Pacino and Harvey Keital are going to be in it too!
Great actor, God bless him! He earned the right to relax and enjoy the rest of his life!
My Cousin Vinny is the best
S S absolutely
S S l agree my cousin vinny was great. I watch it ever time it comes on.
This is the man who George Carlin prayed to, lets never forget that.
Don't forget 'Public eye' with Barbara Hershey where he turned in a genuinely unique, brilliant and touching performance. So sad the film is not readily available. I have a VCR copy which is one of the few ways you can watch it. Pesci I think, is my favourite actor.
Legend
Pesci should not be forgotten in JFK. He delivered a riveting performance and implanted memorable lines in the public consciousness. Enigma wrapped in a riddle... But maybe the powers that be want that ignored. Fuck them. I remember! I remember a lot.
slightly better guitarist jimi hendrix? gtfoh
Totally agree , david ferrie was such a weirdo, Pesci did a fantastic job rolling on the nuttiness but not going full brando
Yep! "Enigma wrapped in a riddle..." that shizzy is/was fukn brilliant. Love that line!
Home Alone is one of my favorite movies of all time and Joe Pesci as Harry makes me laugh every single time
My favourite scene is every scene he's ever been in lol!!!!
He’s waiting for Marty to write the Irishman
1:58 That speech was beautiful
they've turned Lethal Weapon into a television series. what in the fuck is happening to the world?
Jimothy Snooker Its actually pretty good.
name is dumb but i understand them since they found semi lookalike actors... its actually good to watch fun...
Jimothy Snooker yeah the actor who plays Riggs takes it in a new and different direction give it chance damian Waynes is actually really likeable and in this series they dive deep into Riggs backstory with his wife.
Love that show.
I don't doubt it's a successful show but it didn't need a remake. it's a pure money grab. it's just crazy to me that everything gets a television remake. even Macgyver for fuck sake. maybe I should check them out before being so harsh.
High hopes for The Irishman.

Pesci is one hell of a versatile actor. His range is phenomenal.
Can't wait to see him in the Irishman
Euron yes.been waiting since 2016
There I was thinking A Bronx Tale was De Niro's directorial debut!
Chaz paliwhateva directed that..the guy who played sonny
@@JohnJohnson-sm8jc Chazz Palminteri was actually the writer... De Niro directed
@@Justpassionatelycurious1 correct, based on the play Chazz wrote in 1989
My all time favorite actor. Favorite films of his are Home Alone 1 & Home Alone 2 & The Casino
George Carlin says he worships Joe Pesci and says we should too.
No you should worship Jesus Christ Joe Pesci doesn't care about you he doesn't love you he doesn't know you exist so why should you worship him he is just a man
and Jesus Christ is a fictional character, the same as Santa Claus, Bigfoot, The Loch Ness Monster etc
I'll worship a box of mac n cheese before that jesus guy.
Why the hell would I worship a man who died 2,000 yrs ago? Pesci has given me laughter and enjoyment through the yrs... And he's not fictional!
ma pi We should!
Sidenote, George Carlin died way too soon! I'd love to see him rekt modern media's ass. The bullshittery from when he was around has more than doubled since. Rip
