Only opened batch 2 so far and already in love. Viscous and sweet, then astringent and woody.

I have batch 1 incoming. Althought the silver boxed 46% single cask Signatory bottling of Edradour 10yo is quite simple, I do like it a lot. Looking forward how the CS version compares to that. And yes, Bunna 2022 CS is a amazing whisky.

My gut feeling was to snaffle one, so I already have it on my shelf 😊

I just had both of them in comparison and i have to admit that i actually like batch #2 more.
In batch 2 the sourness or bitterness from the barrels actually gives it quite a bit more of compelxity compared to batch 1 even though its not as buttery smooth the first batch.
At the end of the day it's probably a matter of taste and for me personally probably even depends on my daily taste.
However in my humble opinion both are outstanding in their own right and punching way above their weight.
    Well done Edradour!

I knew batch 1 was your favourite of the 2 just by the fill levels at the start of the video

    Hi Jason:
The new bunnahabhain 2023 cask strength is out just now. I wonder which will reign king now?? 2021? 2022? 2023

I love Bunnahabhain CS, but I just can't get over the batch 1 of Edradour CS. It's mind blowing how they can pack that much flavor in a 12 year old whisky. After Edradour, everything else just taste boring.
