im with you Jason, 2022 is incedible my woty last year almost my woty again this year, love the batch variation switch 2023 is good also...cheers my friend....ps NEVER to much Sherry fella
Excellent Jason! Just paid 95 here in the US for the 2023. Growing on me. I liked the 2021 very much and adored the 2022. The 12 is in the upper 60’s here so I will stick with the CS. The 2022 flew off the shelves but I am still on the hunt! Thank you as always! Have a wonderful Holiday Season! Neal
For some reason the 12 CS isn’t available in Canada, so I had to pick one up when south of the border. The only release they had was the 2023, so I went for it. Glad to hear it’s still very good. Not having opened it yet, I think my favorite Bunna is the 18. Great review! Cheers, Jason.
Hi Jason. My 2022 CS Version is still closed. Paid just over €80 last year. For the price and quality the regular 12( picked up a bottle last week for €40) is hard too beat. Still, I do love a young CS staoisha. Slàinte Jason.
I love Bunna. Like, value and taste, one of my all time favourite Scotch. However, I cannot purchase the caskstrength out here, which saddens me. The the 2022 sounds insane.
Love the Bunna 2022 LE Went to buy this year’s limited edition and store owner put out 3 of the 2022 bottles he had been holding onto. I was lucky enough to be able to buy one of them (only allowed 1 per customer). Haven’t tried the 2023 yet. Jason how do you like the Bunna 1988 Marsala Cask Finish and is it a must buy, good buy or a pass? It is $600 usd. I generally love all things Marsala. Thanks
I was not ready for the 46.3 in the early days of this journey now I have lots of sherry goodness on the shelf. I love drinking it but my head still likes a bourbon barrel. Kudos to them for putting a decent age statement on the bottle. Aside from Tomatin and SB, the whole US market of official CS offerings range from $80-120. So $100 for this is totally reasonable. I really appreciate your ranking system. For us out here in the field, by the time we've tasted it, the chances are we are drowning in our buyer's remorse. I can't really think of any regrets, except perhaps the Wolfburn Langskip for $89. It's really good, but the youthfulness wins out. It's like they bottled a "potential" whisky. That's why the 12 means something.
The '22 is unobtanium around here. I'm just finishing off a bottle of the '23, and I have to say, I think it's pretty great. I dig the sherry, but not as much as Jason does, evidently.

Bunna 12 2022 - is so good!
Thanks Jason, great review. I have a 2022 CS and love it, if i can get the 2023, fine, but i don't feel the need to hunt it down.
the 2022 will be my single malt scotch of the year
For me it is a fight between Bunna12 2022, Edradour 12 Olorosso and the Benromach CS. All good but the Bunna takes it.
Bunna12 2022 is the best for me too
Love the Bunna 2022 LE

Bunna 1988 Marsala Cask Finish was too expensive - I did not buy it - sorry!
I wonder if they will release a bourbon centric 12CS release.
that would be very interesting
