The core beliefs they’d need to drop for it to no longer be the same religion would be 1914/last days, and by extension they’d have to drop the faithful slave 1919 teaching, and the Armageddon is coming any second now. They will never change those teachings because without them, watchtower has nothing.
They also can’t drop disfellowshipping and blood transfusions as well. Otherwise they would have to admit complete accountability for all the lives lost due to the no blood doctrine, as well as all the broken families and friendships over many generations now due to disfellowshipping
They introduced shunning your family as well in the early 80’s The biggest change I’ve seen since coming in (1990, in my teens) is the incessant push to rely on the borg. Scriptures like “obey god as ruler rather than men” just glared at me. It was around the time of the bunker videos (2013ish) and that’s when I started really questioning their ‘bible based’ teachings. House of cards came down pretty easy and left me feeling like I was an idiot for falling for this without truly studying it
@@Cryptidsmethodologycould be done and they will if they keep losing members. But any reasonably thinking person with cognitive abilities will see that the main doctrines were all for naught as it took lives and broke families/friendships, for generations now.
They are 100% unrecognizable from 20 years ago. They have become something that we would preach we'd never do. I remember pointing out other religions approach to making videos and saying why we were not imitators of the world and why door to door was better... and yet fast forward they've completely changed and doing the same.
Yeah I agree. It's a whole different religion from Cart "preaching" (standing) to videos IN meetings to Online meetings, JW TV & SOLO SINGERS making music. ALL those things they used to poke fun at the churches for. Now they do every single one of those things.
And in the word of the Governing Body, they ARE inspired by God. They claim to be the ONLY mouthpiece for God. Can't be both ways...yet the witnesses seem to accept such nonsense.
Watch Tower ceases to exist the moment any JW becomes capable of making a distinction between reality and magical thinking. A rare occasion that only a few get to experience.
Remember what happened to Herbert Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God ? It collapsed into dozens of tiny groups and faded away. I think that is the future of the Watchtower religion.
I have also been leaning to that analasis ,because in the belief system,so many things are a "conscious matter"you can do so many things ,still be allowed to go to all the meeting, meanwhile stumbling your fellow believers ,who will soft shun you....
I was a JW in the 70s and I still hear the same repetitive door-to-door partial Bible quotes, the same analogies. Blood issue is the same; disfellowshipping and shunning; CSA is now exposed though. Different is the Cart that leads you to the Org site. They dress the same, turn away or are silent when Carting. The business itself? No predictions. I just wish the governing body would be lawfully held responsible for CSA, deaths, suicides, et al, but in reality, it’s like a food addiction: it was there, we bought it, we ate it. We didn’t have too. Yet like all of us, we’re all at different levels of growth at different times, maybe we were young or vulnerable or seriously wanting companionship and “Philosophical” studies: Why do we exist? Then we evolve, as Wally said. Ultimate decisions are ours. So maybe the old governing body will fade to Bah Land and New Light will think up new random partial Scripture quotes unread in context. Each new generation is exposed to them for the first time, you know? ❤
There are people in life who like to be micromanaged and do not like making decisions for themselves and as such watchtower will always have adherents.
Hardly anyone new come in it is only the generations born into it that continue the cult. Also the overlapping generations teaching got a lot of people to wake up.
I would venture to say that the Society peaked circa 1997. Of course, there was a sizable decline 1978-82, followed by what seemed to be "off to the races" growth during the eighties and early nineties. However, that "growth" neither matched nor even came close to the pace of 1967-75, which could be regarded as when the Society was at its zenith, as far as the rate of increase is concerned. The period 1983-97 merely reflected a recouping of the losses of 1978-82, numerically, with minimal growth on top of that. In short, as ironic as it seems, the 1975 debacle and the subsequent decreases at the end of the decade actually bought the Society perhaps as much as fifteen years in terms of reaching its peak. I say this as someone who was involved with the Society during most of that period (1980-97). On the other hand, by 1997, there should have been approximately twelve million publishers world wide, including roughly 1.5 million in the United States alone. That's based upon the rate of increase 1967-75. (According to the official figures from the Society, there are one million publishers in the United States now.) At that same rate, there should be approximately 128 million publishers around the globe, including some seven million in the United States. Speaking as one who finally left the Society (July 2016), I certainly am glad that Jehovah's witnesses have not experienced such an explosion in their ranks! On the contrary, from and after 1998, the Society entered an overall period of stagnation. And, more recently, the Society has entered a period of decline. Granted, the case could be made that the pandemic has played a role in this. After all, the circumstances of the last four years have afforded many people the opportunity to take stock of their position on various matters, including those of belief. However, the decline amongst the ranks of Jehovah's witnesses has been in the offing for quite some time. There has never been a proper accounting within the organization for the 1975 debacle or for the opportunity for serious thinking and reconsideration on the part of many publishers 1978-82 resulting in their leaving the Society. Whenever the Society does mention these experiences, it's always and only to blame the rank-and-file and 'some who have served prominently within the organization' rather than for the Society itself to face the scrutiny it so richly deserves. Then, too, other proverbial chickens are coming home to roost, ranging from the blood issue to "neutrality" to the identity of the "superior authorities" to the pædophilia rampant within the organization, et cetera, et cetera, ad infinitum, ad nauseam, "world without end. Amen." The Society has refused to properly address these matters. But, the facts are being revealed. And, with each passing day, more and more witnesses are finding out these facts, considering the evidence and, consequently, leaving the Society. In its obstinate refusal to properly and honestly give account for its record of deceit and lies, the Society has, from its beginning, resorted to self-reinvention. Nonetheless, as the saying goes: "The more things change, the more they stay the same." Since its founding in 1881, that is, perhaps, the only aspect of the Society which has remained consistent. All the more reason to be glad that we have left the Society!
Let’s face it, we don’t know what will happen! There’s several scenarios. Doors closed, we can only hope! But there could be off shoots by small groups, they could go underground because of their “persecution complex” .. either which way it goes it’s because of all the Ex’s exposing them & never giving up!! 👏🏼👍🏼
They make scary videos to brainwash their members into making them believe the military is after them. Yet when the shootings took place during one of their meetings at a so-called Kingdom hall in Germany, the German police were quick at the shooting scene to protect the survivors from further harm. The greatest enemy of the Jehovah's Witnesses is the Watchtower.
If they change all the harmful polices *AND* give an unreserved apology, then yes, I agree they wouldn't be the same. But if they just make changes and pass if off as the light getting brighter without acknowledging the harms they've caused and apologizing....no!
@@ITS1985 What harms? - Emotional harm resulting from their policy of shunning ex-members, which has resulted in suicides. - Preventable loss of life resulting from their anti blood transfusion policy enforced with the threat of shunning. - Financial ruin or struggle of members forego higher education and/or lucrative jobs/job promotions in obedience to the organization's advice/teachings in this regard. - Preventable sexual abuse of minors both inside and outside the organization due to non-reporting of known or suspected abusers to the police and even other members. - Subjecting children to social exclusion from certain school activities and making them targets for possible bullying due to out-of-touch puritanical views forbidding harmless activities like birthdays, mother's day, father's day, etc. - Having JWs go to prison by forbidding them from engaging in alternative service in lieu of military service. - Encouraging women to remain in physically abusive marriages, which can lead to serious injury or death. - Instilling a bigoted view of non-members in the minds of JWs by teaching sweeping generalizations against all non-members, labeling them with pejoratives such as "worldly".
Oh no! I’m pimo, I know. I see and hear what’s going on. I even went to the convention to see and I have connections to Europe. Many still get baptized.
As long as the WT doesn’t run out of money (likely), and as long as there’s members who give them money (also likely), they’ll continue to exist. But Wally’s right, this organization isn’t recognizable from 20, even 10 years ago, and will likely be unrecognizable again in another 20 (maybe they’ll trade the carts in for sandwich boards and phonographs again). Safe travels Wally.
Agree, I was born in and left in the 80s. My brother is still in and I want so badly to talk to him about all the changes over these years. I feel he's still in only because he wants to see our mom in the new system. My mom taught us so differently than what it is today.
I was seven years old in 1962. They had an advertising campaign for the district convention that was held in my hometown. I remember getting to wear a sandwich board sign.
I have to say in all honesty that I don’t believe Watchtower will go away or cease to be an organization. They’re just too big of a money making corporation. They may continue to lose growth by their preaching efforts but not as much as in past years. With all of their money and property they may go through a rebirth of sorts even as we see taking place in small steps right now. We will simply have to see how exposure of their dealing with CSA affects them in the long run.
I feel like the organization itself may collapse but there will always be the true believers who still follow “Jehovah” (the organization’s version) because they think it’s the Truth. Like my mother for instance 🙄
@bethany451 These rules that the elders make up in their head does not gee haw with God Almighty. This shunning thing and the "no blood thing" that I am facing a bunch of elders with as my mother is in hospital ICU needing blood. As I'm leaving you this comment those elders are all in her room here to guard her. There f rules make me sick at heart. This is not Jehovah's rule.
@@morningglory9288 Try reading the new covenant. You're spreading false teachings. Same as Watchtower who refuse to read scripture and have no understanding of it.
You made a good point. My theory is this: in western Industrial countries, they will shrink down to a meaningless number. Because, look what happens in Europe. Court cases over court cases, demographic issues, very high energy costs in Germany... Legal trouble in US... The cash cow seems to go empty.
Hi Wally this is my first comment I'm from Downunder. I, and many more hope the Watchtower will collapse, if and when that happens it will reverberate around the world, when the dust from the tower clears, we will be able to breathe fresh air once again.
I'm 53 grew up in the " truth" and have ran into many complications and have carried so many questions ,when in "truth" as a child I think it's ingrained in you for the rest of your life, everyday something comes up and you question your own knowledge, when I started seeing all of these videos I automatically thought the end people speaking out, No just people waking up wow
Maybe instead of speaking about the "end" of Watchtower, it would be better to speak of the "fall" of Watchtower - which could be defined as the point when their membership is less than half of what it was at their peak, or some other meaningful, definitive delineations[s].
I left in 1979, was disfellowshipped in 1981. Of course I am fundamentally different as I left when I was 17 and I'm now 61 with a lifetime's worth of experiences, mostly horrendous, from an extremely violent childhood to 2 suicide attempts before I was 20 and a couple decades of a living husk behind an interchangeable mask. But the last 2 decades have given me a great partner and an amazing son as well as a certain level of peace of mind. JW's do not come to my door anymore and neither do the mormons. I do have PTSD manifesting in extremely violent nightmares with my parents, sometimes with christian motifs added. I carry a fair amount of unnecessary guilt for not being able to save my brothers from the hell that was our childhood. And though I do not fear dying at all, in honesty I've lived 3 times longer than I figured I was when I was a younger man, I do fear become someone who cannot take care of himself nor recognize his own family as I have many neurological issues and right side brain injury already causing short-term memory loss, instability, seizures, loss of place, etc. As long as it's quick I'm happy. My father died at 52 right after the end of his prayer, closing the book study meeting (I hear they don't have those anymore) and so I've outlived that SOB, and that's good enough. I want the Watchtower Society gone for good, because it has destroyed so many lives and as they have proven, they will never change their ways regarding pedophiles which is intolerable as they refuse to admit they have a problem. There is not enough good they do to offset the horrible. I remember the discussions about mexicans getting political cards for bribe money and that was sanctioned by NY while they said africans couldn't do so and thousands were slaughtered by the government because the brothers and sisters thought they were doing jehovah's word. It makes me sick to my stomach and that's why I don't want to see them exist. Who will be the next group the GB kills off?
I would like to see the Watchtower Society cease being financially profitable - an obvious financial collapse. I suspect that won't happen within my lifetime, but I'm certain that we can already see it financially fraying around the edges.
Omgosh that’s so freakin cool that you’re taking this road trip! My daughter and I did that route from Orting Wa to St Petersburg Fl only it took us 5 years not 2 weeks. Either way soooo much fun! 🎉
Let's hope they don't go down with a bang, but just with a quiet whimper. Gut feeling tells me some Jonestown-like scenario is not completely out of the realm of possibility.
Too many multi million dollar lawsuits, your local Kingdom Hall gets sold by Watch Tower because they desperately need the money…who knows what could happen
YES! Thank you for saying that!! We all have different views and theres no need to attack eachother for it - might as well still be in Watchtower if we can't have OPINIONS! ❤
Here in the Western Cape, in particular the Strand . Seeing a witness at work is so rare that one would think they are not existing any more. Occasional a couple walking with mags and not talking to anyone.
We must evolve, we can't stay stagnet. As you say, it doesn't have to 'close', just hope that it evolves into an organization that changes its rules because it has realized it has been horribly wrong and against all that Jesus taught about loving others.
There will be no changes to that effect. Watchtower is a satanic cult meant to drew away from Christ and to the governing body, the "Christ" of the organization.
So far watchtower has changed, true;from bad to worse. I only wish that our senses would grow sharper as to see the destructive fallacies of sectarian cults.
A different take here. I believe that alot of the time when exjws (specifically activists) say that Watchtower will never end,is because they're scared. Scared of the fact that they will have to just let go of the past, theres no more subreddits/forums as theres no point to them-unless to show history. But alot of people would feel lost and find it extremely difficult to move on. Personally im more optimistic and see the crumbling of watchtower as a huge win and a closure to such a cruel organisation. For a while,i admit i would miss the exposing videos and the leaked documents 😂i believe people should still tell their stories, but after that why give them more attention

Great Podcast! I was baptised early 70's, after the 1975 changes were coming within the next 5 years! Raymond Franze was disfellowshipped by 1981 removed from the GB earlier but over 1 million had left the Society by 1982. So this Organisation changed significantly by the mid 80's 🤔 unfortunately not for the better though! As future changes will also probe to be nit beneficial for the Congregations, but beneficial for the Corporation! 😢sadly!
There’s a demographic issue. Where WT is growing its growing in places with 0 connection to 19th Century American theology. They’ll keep the name and some teachings of course… no war, the kingdom, etc, but this really might be “the final generation” of Anglo-American centric “Watchtower”.
Growth back 70 and 80s was from coverts. People that hade interest in religion. After that it was mostly born in that got baptise. In African countries it's a traditional thing. If head of household becomes a JW, all children must also. It's gonna collapse and fall into its on weight watchtower. You can not sustain an organisation that so many members don't really like the religion they are born into.
When youre getting ready to leave you should release another video about it, even just a short, so people can donate for gas/food/etc if they want. Just a suggestion!
@vanishingangels I have always wondered how long is a "little while" ? 7000 years is a long long long while to us humans. I know 1000 years is as a day to God but it's not to us. It's not our fault what Adam and Eve did but we sure do have to suffer for it.

The Kingdom Hall in my neck of the woods in Alberta Canada is now open with a bang . Crowded street with cars. Growth by increased new members or merged congregations?
I’m pimo, believe me, this organization will last and “endure” anything that come upon them. There is still many getting baptized (and I have info from congregations in Germany) many are pioneering and some congregations have half of them pioneering, of course it’s because of the lesser hour requirements. Their haydays are over, that’s true, but they are still positioned very well.
I see their carts at big events in my area, but not one person even stops to talk to them. They have completely stopped going from door to door here. They can pioneer but it seems to be a waste of time. Since you are still attending meetings, have you seen any new people coming in? If so, at what rate? And are conventions full or are they dwindling? Just curious!!
@@thrivingexjw2061 I only attend Sunday every two weeks. It’s a congregation I switched to after covid. Sometimes it seems pretty empty, but I don’t know how many are in zoom. @@beautyRest1 - I was 20 in the 70’s and KH’s were over flowing & new ones being built constantly, plus the conventions were packed to over capacity in huge stadiums. If you didn’t get to the meetings early, you had to stand. I haven’t been to a meeting in over 30 years but have wondered how it is these days. There are only 3 KH’s running in my city now. The others have been sold. They have combined congregations so each Hall is full. I live in a city of 250,000 so only 3 halls isn’t many.
Going back to Russel’s time the organisation has definitely “morphed” progressively since then till now. The influence of the Society on congregations/individuals has become more aggressive since I started associating as a youth till what I see now.
Hey Wally! My dog passed away a couple months ago named Harley. Well we got a new puppy that’s name was Charlie, but we kept calling him Harley on accident. Charlie was just to close sounding. Well we were kicking around Remy, Hank, and Wally. He responded to Wally wags the most. So now we have a male Yorkie puppy named Wally. Still not sure on his records if I should spell it Wally or Wall-E. Just thought you might get a chuckle out of that .
They dont bother me I still think they do well to obey the scriptures the best they can not perfect organisation but still a one that tries and one of the very very few that don’t believe in going to war is admirable
They have lost over two million members in the past five years. With more and more every day. No new members coming in, they will lose hundreds of thousands this year alone, and many hundreds of thousands next year. The videos from the conventions this years were shocking, they certainly no longer need stadiums and arenas. Soon they will rent the ballroom on a hotel. We can definitely see the decline of witnesses as the "Apostate" army grows. The days of Watchtower are numbered.
I believe Watchtower is being forced to change their business model. However I also believe that power brokers that are not necessarily members of the organization will not allow it to completely fail. In the big scheme of things this organization has its place. It is also known that many in the organization including elders has mental health issues and they do not want high numbers of suicides.
Just had a question how does an alternative source of spirituality work in the minds of those who leave the Watchtower? Is there nothing out there? Or should not we be looking for truth?
We can only dream....my poor kids are trapped and guilt in by my wife and her parents.... apparently the only one they can disappoint is me the Catholic non practicing father .....it's so sad....and when they day they dont divide families it's a big lie ..
Haven't watched the video yet, but as someone pimo it doesn't look like it's ending anytime soon. I remember when i first moved to this new congregation several years ago where there were more young people and i thought they might be more like me and possibly pimo. I highly overestimated their capacity to think against the organization, the young ones are just as brainwashed as the old people. The ones who do fall out are usually because they want to do "worldly" things but ofc they are shunned and nobody speaks to them again. And even those that do fall out probably still think that the organization is the truth. I met my cousin's roommate who never got baptized but was raised as a jw. He's living a "worldly" life but when I explained to him my thoughts on the organization he said to not be offended, but he can't help but feel that I'm evil and trying to lead him astray. The indoctrination goes really deep and I'm grateful I was able to break free at least mentally for now. Hopefully i will be able to physically break out soon. Jws have been talking about having to preach a "message of condemnation" or something, which would be just what it sounds, no longer trying to convert people just condeming their beliefs or something. If they ever try to pull something like that I'm not doing it, that'll be my signal to leave no matter what, but honestly i doubt it'll happen anytime soon. They probably know lots of people will leave the organization. Things look like they will stay the same for now, although I do hope i am wrong.

Hide and watch. Here is what is going on with Watchtower... God has amassed for Himself an Army of concerned families and friends, "Apostates," victims and survivors, to tear down this abomination of a false religion. And in the Mighty name of Jesus, it IS coming down. Watchtower is a bad tree, bearing bad fruit, fit only for fire, the LORD has already laid axe to root. Yeah they evolved. Or devolved. They probably thought it would stop downhill ride. But it hasn't. And nothing seems too change were they heading. Either collapse or having a online religion thats around, but is not a real Christian group with regular meetings. Either way their glory days are long gone
The Millerites broke into the 7th Day Adventists and the Advent Christian Church and also International Bible Students and JWs. People cling to groups and feel "special" because of restrictions and practices. Groups come and go. The Watchtower society is only the latest in a long series of millennial movements stretching back over two thousand years. They all share the belief that these are the last days and Gods kingdom is nigh. They flourish and die to be replaced by a similar movement with a different name. I appreciate this video very much. For me, I don't really have an opinion about the end of Watchtower. I think that eventually there will be so small that it will just fade away. In any case it's not going to last always one way or another. Really, what I realize is that it's already gone for me. I find it interesting to see what they are preaching now because if you compare what they were teaching 40 years ago, to what they are teaching now, it is startling to see how much has changed. I am no longer a part of it except for helping those whom are leaving the organization and need support and help. That is my focus. So keeping up with the organization is only relevent to me in terms of the harm that must be overcome, that was dont to members. When i do feel angry over it all, it is never toward the ex jw community. We are all on the same team, desiring to overcome the indoctrination, prevention of further injury from the org, and making sure that those that have lost everything to shunning practices are able to get sufficient support to move forward in their lives. As I said, we are all on the same team, so what is the point of fighting about a future event that may or not happen. It kind of sounds like some are hoping for a reverse, Armageddon specifically aimed at the Watchtower Society. That doesn't seem very realistic. I wish you were coming through my state, Wally.

THAT PART!
And in the word of the Governing Body, they ARE inspired by God.
They claim to be the ONLY mouthpiece for God.

Amen brother.
Remember what happened to Herbert Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God ? It collapsed into dozens of tiny groups and faded away. I think that is the future of the Watchtower religion.
Yes.
I have also been leaning to that analasis ,because in the belief system,so many things are a "conscious matter"you can do so many things ,still be allowed to go to all the meeting, meanwhile stumbling your fellow believers ,who will soft shun you....
Oh no, I don’t think so. When was the last time you were at a k.don hall and assembly/convention?
@@beautyRest1do tell. I want the good, bad, and ugly 😉
Ouuu very true. Easier from some to just follow all their lives
Some ppl need a path, others can carve their own.
Not really they’re willing to make the sacrifices to obey the rules because they like the way of life and believe in the grand purpose of it
Hardly anyone new come in it is only the generations born into it that continue the cult. Also the overlapping generations teaching got a lot of people to wake up.

@@ITS1985 No, there is something called LIFE in between. Make the best of it, it is the only one you get.
@@ITS1985Alternative? What alternative would you want? Just live your life, dude
That we even talking about their downfall shows how bad it's gotten for them. This kind of talk would be unimaginable back in beginning of 90s
Very well stated!❤
It is the funding that is keeping them afloat. Go for the funding, make it expensive to do any one thing.
Thank you for this. According to this the watchtower has changed from what it was 50 or 60 years ago
It's always been a cult built on lies...still is.
Your road trip is going to be so cool, I cannot wait to see all the content
If they change all the harmful polices *AND* give an unreserved apology, then yes, I agree they wouldn't be the same. But if they just make changes and pass if off as the light getting brighter without acknowledging the harms they've caused and apologizing....no!
What harms

Yup I’m 23 and it has changed so much since I was like 14 sooo different now
I have to say in all honesty that I don’t believe Watchtower will go away or cease to be an organization.
God Will Deal with it In His Appointed Time . Something Will Happened.. Possibly In October With The Protest Something is Bound To Happened

Well said, Wally.
Thanks Wally for the video. Have a very good trip and enjoy.

Wally, it's the internet. People don't want to agree, they want to be right. And not just right, but 100% right on every single point. Ignore them.
YEP! “Shun” them! ❤😂
What happened to Zee Zee the 🐈 kitty cat? Since you changed your setting we haven't seen him 😢.
I would like to see the Watchtower Society cease being financially profitable - an obvious financial collapse. I suspect that won't happen within my lifetime, but I'm certain that we can already see it financially fraying around the edges.

I’m pimo, believe me, this organization will last and “endure” anything that come upon them. Their haydays are over, that’s true, but they are still positioned very well.
Pioneering - fewer hours - "all the 'less' so as you behold the day drawing near."
I see their carts at big events in my area, but not one person even stops to talk to them. They have completely stopped going from door to door here. Their end will not come with striking observableness. It would resemble a gradual fade spanning decades.

Why can’t you leave?
@@Cryptidsmethodology pretty much because I have nowhere else to go. I have no very close friends or a partner I can turn to, if I leave I'll be mostly completely by myself. The closest thing I have right now is my parents and siblings, not to mention I live with them still, mostly because of financial struggles. I'm trying to build a career but in this economy it's tough. I've actually had a few conversations with my dad where I've openly gone against certain jw teachings and pretty much it got to a point once where he told me there's no where else to go, just keep being a good Jw for the sake of our family because that's a good thing and you don't want to mess it up. I thought we came to an agreement and that he understood I was pimo but now he acts and talks to me like if I'm still a believer. I think he's pushing the truth out of his mind. Nobody understands my thoughts very well, but nobody else but my family cares about me as much, I'm stuck and don't know when I'm going to be able to break free.

Yes, in the Mighty name of Jesus, this thing is coming down, like the walls of Jericho...because we are SHOUTING!!
Agree!!
Yeah they evolved. Or devolved. They probably thought it would stop downhill ride. But it hasn't. And nothing seems too change were they heading. Either collapse or having a online religion thats around, but is not a real Christian group with regular meetings. Either way their glory days are long gone
Lol, my like turned it into 1k! Not notable, just never done that before lol.
I've heard about the protest. Best of luck!
What part of TX? If you're heading into Dallas, let us know! It would be cool to maybe do a meet and greet. 😀
More like this please ❤.
Y hope to end soon as possible. ❤🎉
Wally I live in Lebanon ore!!!! That’s awesome
Good video. i agree with you.
The Millerites broke into the 7th Day Adventists and the Advent Christian Church and also International Bible Students and JWs. People cling to groups and feel "special" because of restrictions and practices. Groups come and go. Humans are always learning (even accomplished musicians search for new tunes, riffs, instruments, etc). Ecclesiastes did say that humans will never completely figure things out.
I'm very glad you're getting to go. I can't make it but I'm so happy for you. If you come close to Killeen/Fort Hood/Temple area hit me up. We'll eat at the Bestest Asian restaurant in town my friend. Oh, and I'm in Texas.
They won’t end in our lifetime. Although, all things eventually end.
They will end sometime in the 21st century.
Don’t worry! The heat death of the universe will take care of watchtower.
Hello Wally, good to hear you’re going on a road trip to the States.. why don’t you plan one to Europe as well? 😊
They cannot close soon enough.
Happy no field service,Saturday.
How do we communicate with you?
I never saw you email, not all of us are on Facebook and Instagram.
ex-JW for more than 30 years, living very close to Laguna beach in southern California, hope for a meet -up❤
The Watchtower society is only the latest in a long series of millennial movements stretching back over two thousand years. They all share the belief that these are the last days and Gods kingdom is nigh. They flourish and die to be replaced by a similar movement with a different name. WT is slightly different in that it proliferates via a corporate, structure ,as with any commercial business enterprise. Sure they might last a bit longer but they’ll eventually take their place in the stream
My biggest wonder is, why that 1975 didn’t end WT😅
Wally the exjw “circus overseer” 😂
Pomona shout- out. Please make some noise here xoxo
I’m in Pomona, CA👏😀
Many a morning I spent at 4:30 AM at the Metrolink Pomona North station commuting to work - I lived in Chino Hills
@@yacaattwood2421, my JW decade was spent in Covina. I spent many an-early AM in a car group, driving up and down Arrow Hwy-catching folks at bus stops and laundromats🤣🤦♀️👏! I auxiliary pioneered to gain the approval of sisters that judged me for being a single mother of 4.
I would love to meet you. Safe travels to you.
Hello Wally, just a curious question...who will take care of your cat while you are on the road trip? Seems to me you will be away for long...
Wish you were coming to Maine
North Carolina huh, that's where i live, we should go and visit Top Shelf Tony bro😊
If you come through Quebec, let me know 🙂
