The lack of compassion, empathy or support by the Jehovah's Witnesses, even towards its own members, is unbelievable. If a member is struggling with a mental health issue, financial problems, addictions, domestic violence, doubt, losing a child, or anything, they don't seem to receive ANY support or concern from elders or members.
They have no natural affection, because it's indoctrinated out of them with the shunning policy, sad but true, most Exjw's can testify to this, but the time is fast approaching when they will be exposed for what they are, another satanic cult built on the model of the freemasons.......👍
Since there is no official support in place, it's largely depends on the spiritual health of the individual congregation, and whether the elders are attempting to follow the loving examples of the heroes in the Bible or if they just want the title of elder. I've been in a congregation where the elders weren't all that, and I've also seen and miss the elders that put actual and sincere effort in assisting the "sheep" they were assigned to.

The ARC brought out that even in cases of child abuse and sexual, physical or domestic abuse that a woman is not used within the matter to comfort or support the victim/survivor. I believe the charman/judge asked why but wasn't given a satisfactory answer from the representatives of the org.

I had to hold in all my childish giggles. The elder was running late for field service and due to a loss of bladder control she had a pair of large knickers in her bag...instead of the hanky she placed the pastel pink knickers on her head and not one person told her...except me while sitting in the car. Lol never forgotten it.
Great job. 👍 Now you see some of the MANY scriptures that have been changed throughout the Bible. Paul's words have been messed with so much even in his day. That's why he told the congregations to watch out for letters saying that they are from him and to look out to how he signs his name at the end of the letter to know its authentic.

You can only see the screwed up verses by using and comparing them all and not just sticking only to one translation you think is best. Comparing original Greek helps sort the verse out and you will be amazed how Translators screw up verses which shows they are translating out of what they think they know or mistranslate on purpose.

(finds something he doesn't like) well because we know what it is supposed to say we will just make a adjustment so it is easier for the reader to comprehend god's thoughts. @JW Thoughts I've only recently found the courage to search for everything (else) wrong with the organization even though I've been out for years, and it feels great to confirm that I wasn't delirious to see in the bible women with authority AND god's approval. I have no faith now, so technically this doesn't matter, but it does, you know? The younger me can rest with no guilt, and I'm free. What you do here has a big impact so please keep up the good work!!

None of the teachings of Watchtower can be found in scripture. "Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves." "And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house." Lk.10:3,7 All of the teachings of Watchtower can be easily debunked with scripture.

What I would love to see is all elders, ministerial servants and especially the GB have an in-depth police check on their background and criminal history.Here in,the Uk ,if you work with vulnerable children/ people these checks are done on you and you receive a blue card. Anyone being considered for a position in the congregation just has to say they have no child abuse history. If they confess to any wrongdoing but are “ repentant “ that’s fine welcome aboard.-a recipe for problems as we see all the time.The IICSA enquiry showed there was a servant in the Uk being reported to bethel for child abuse nearly every month!!

Saw a video on a true langue word for word translation of the Hebrew of Genesis. READS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. It reads just like a Native American or Aboriginal "creation/first existence" story. Not necessarily creation, not necessarily science. Just observation and theory. "There was this, then that happened". Less a book of God and more a book of self reflection and belief.

The bible is such a mean of big business. I got news for all those who have used and abused that book. There are curses in it for them; and Watchtower is right there in the front line.
@Yolette Milord -- Exactly! The Bible contains many curses to be dealt out as punishments aimed at people who dare add to and/or subtract from God's Word. A very famous warning/curse is in the Book of Revelation, but some other books of the Bible give similar curses/warnings. The G.B. (Governing Body) are in deep, deep dip right now. Without repentance, they shall go to Hell -- and they don't seem to have in their words or actions any of the fruits or evidences of repentance! You spoke truly about those eight in the G.B.
My daughter's son was going to get married. W my daughter, him, and I went out for lunch and he said, when I get married I and I didn't catch the rest of what he said. But I heard her loud and clear First he was 19, very exceptionally, immature, and had turrets, ADHD, Asperger's, another one I can't remember what it was called. Anyway, my daughter said you can't do that. He looked stunned and said why not. She said do you see your Dad telling me what to do? I can do what I want and he does not tell me what I can and can't do. She said I chose to do the right thing. (really not her choice in reality. WT forces them how to act and think. You can see by what he said he thought he would be the big boss. Lasted almost two years she got a divorce and of course, they threw her out. She said it was like raising a child. I remember she was on facebook (before the WT told them stay off it) and one of her friends commented she had not been on line for a long time. She said she couldn't because he was always on the computer and they only had one. Before that marriage ended he was already leaving the watchtower and glad to get out.
Most of the women I have met in the organization were content to do nothing and let the brothers tell them what to think. I guess people stay in cults so they don't have to think for themselves.

It gets so down to the nitty gritty that a sister showing a brother how he is using HER vacuum wrong, he gets upset. (It was of course the vacuum's fault that he had it set on external tools.) It gets so down to the nitty gritty that a sister can't tell a brother to close the door when it is cold outside and it is HER home and he is a visitor! He looks shocked and surprised at the sister and her husband. (Thankfully my husband was just as confused as me, but now I know why he acted like such a doofus.) It gets so down to the nitty gritty that a sister taking an elder on an RV where she starts a study at the door then gets reminded about head covering, and another brother in the hall gifts her a scarf. 🤦🏽♀

Paul's words have been messed with so much even in his day. That's why he told the congregations to watch out for letters saying that they are from him and to look out to how he signs his name at the end of the letter to know its authentic.

@@exjehovahswitness Every translation is screwed up and has its own agenda. You can only see the screwed up verses by using and comparing them all and not just sticking only to one translation you think is best.
Comparing original Greek helps sort the verse out and you will be amazed how Translators screw up verses which shows they are translating out of what they think they know or mistranslate on purpose.
yeah that is the classic start with the end fallacy. We know this is true because it's in this book. (finds something he doesn't like) well because we know what it is supposed to say we will just make a adjustment so it is easier for the reader to comprehend god's thoughts. What I would love to see is all elders, ministerial servants and especially the GB have an in-depth police check on their background and criminal history.Here in,the Uk ,if you work with vulnerable children/ people these checks are done on you and you receive a blue card. Anyone being considered for a position in the congregation just has to say they have no child abuse history. If they confess to any wrongdoing but are “ repentant “ that’s fine welcome aboard.-a recipe for problems as we see all the time.The IICSA enquiry showed there was a servant in the Uk being reported to bethel for child abuse nearly every month!!

The bible is such a mean of big business. I got news for all those who have used and abused that book. There are curses in it for them; and Watchtower is right there in the front line.
@Yolette Milord -- Exactly! The Bible contains many curses to be dealt out as punishments aimed at people who dare add to and/or subtract from God's Word. A very famous warning/curse is in the Book of Revelation, but some other books of the Bible give similar curses/warnings.
The G.B. (Governing Body) are in deep, deep dip right now. Without repentance, they shall go to Hell -- and they don't seem to have in their words or actions any of the fruits or evidences of repentance!

My daughter's son was going to get married. W

But I heard her loud and clear First he was 19, very exceptionally, immature, and had turrets, ADHD, Asperger's, another one I can't remember what it was called. Anyway, my daughter said you can't do that. He looked stunned and said why not. She said do you see your Dad telling me what to do? You can see by what he said he thought he would be the big boss. Lasted almost two years she got a divorce and of course, they threw her out. She said it was like raising a child. I remember she was on facebook (before the WT told them stay off it) and one of her friends commented she had not been on line for a long time. She said she couldn't because he was always on the computer and they only had one. Before that marriage ended he was already leaving the watchtower and glad to get out.
Most of the women I have met in the organization were content to do nothing and let the brothers tell them what to think. I guess people stay in cults so they don't have to think for themselves.
