      The world is indoctrinated!
Nero of the Roman Empire worshipped the Sun God Apollo! Even if Jesus did not exist they would follow Sun, Moon, and Star Worship! Revelation 17:17
The Roman Empire allowed Christianity but created a Pagan Jesus. Constantine made Christianity the main religion of Rome, and created Constantinople, which became the most powerful city in the world. Historians link the advent of Christianity to Sol Invictus partly because December 25 marked the so-called Feast of the Unconquered Sun before it became officially recognized as the birthday of Christ. The Winter solstice, alternatively called Yule or Sol Invictus, is a pagan celebration Emperor Aurelian established in 272 CE. Aurelian strengthened the position of the Sun god Sol Invictus as the main divinity of the Roman pantheon. He declared Dec. 25 as the birthdate of the “Invincible Sun” and made the day a feast-day.
Deuteronomy 4:19 And when you raise your eyes to the heavens and see the sun and the moon and the stars-all the army of the heavens-do not get seduced and bow down to them and serve them. Jehovah your God has given them to all the peoples under the whole heavens.

Rejecting and shunning people because they BETRAY you isn't the same as rejecting and shunning people because they aren't good enough. Betrayal in the pursuit of envy for materialistic things deserves shunning. You don't deserve the love and support from people who you betray. Worldly people like you (I can tell you are worldly because you took a photo of yourself smiling to publicly display) reject other people for materialistic reasons. You need to learn that their materialistic control isn't what's important. Their spiritual control is what matters in the long term. They reject you for spiritualistic reasons. You reject them for materialistic reasons. You are quite literally Eve being seduced by the serpent. Women are particularly vulnerable to being emotionally manipulated through seduction and bullying. That's why Satan grooms women and children into slavery. It's unfortunate but if a woman (like you) allows herself to be seduced she has to be shunned as an example to the rest of the women on what happens when they disassociate. You women do the exact same to men when you attain power. The difference is you ignore them because they never have "enough" material things to provide you. You reject them for the wrong reasons. They reject you for the right reasons. You bully them when you get power. They lead you when they get power. This isn't even coming from hate. It's just reality.

The 5th and 6th Seal of Revelation.
Beth-Sarim! Yes they built a Mansion for the resurrection. But the fifth seal of Revelation says they are to rest a little longer. Lol!
The “Jubilee Year” teaching of 1925 appeared later, between 1917-1918. The Watchtower Society thus recalls its interpretation:
In a booklet published in that same year, 1920, it was pointed out that if 70 full Jubilees were calculated from what was understood to be the date when Israel entered the Promised Land (...), this could point to the year 1925. (Jehovah’s Witnesses-Proclaimers of God’s Kingdom 1993 p. 632).
Luke 12:35 Be dressed and ready and have your lamps burning, 36 and you should be like men waiting for their master to return from the marriage, so when he comes and knocks, they may at once open to him. 37 Happy are those slaves whom the master on coming finds watching! Truly I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at the table and will come alongside and minister to them. 38 And if he comes in the second watch, even if in the third, and finds them ready, happy are they! 39 But know this, if the householder had known at what hour the thief would come, he would not have let his house be broken into.
Did the Faithful Slave pass the second and third watch.
1925 and 1975 are they false dates or prophetic prophecy. The 5th And 6th Seal of Revelation.
      Revelation 6:5
When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls* of those slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the witness they had given. 10 They shouted with a loud voice, saying: “Until when, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, are you refraining from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 And a white robe was given to each of them, and they were told to rest a little while longer, until the number was filled of their fellow slaves and their brothers who were about to be killed as they had been.
12 And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and a great earthquake occurred; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair,* and the entire moon became as blood, 13 and the stars of heaven fell to the earth as when a fig tree shaken by a high wind drops its unripe figs. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and every island was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth, the high officials, the military commanders, the rich, the strong, every slave, and every free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 And they keep saying to the mountains and to the rocks: “Fall over us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
1925 was the end of the Jubilee's and they thought Armageddon was coming also in 1975 the end of the 6000 years. They didn't know it was the 5th and 6th seal being opened. They built a mansion. But the 5th seal shows they was to rest a little longer. And they did believe the wrath of Jehovah was coming. Read verse 17 of the sixth seal.
Luke 12:32 Have no fear, little flock, for your Father has approved of giving you the Kingdom.

The first book I ever read was the Great Teacher Book in 1971. Isolation did me good. Then! Here's my professional help. Lol I'm sitting here listening to Rush 2112 and watching Star Trek. So who changed the stardate. Or is 2012 the end of the age and Jesus shows up in 18 years from the stardate 2012. But after the Guardian of the four corners of the Earth is ruling the world. Who changed the stardate of our calendar. After Jesus is born King. He shows up in Jerusalem at 12 years old. Then he shows at age 30. Then Jerusalem is destroyed in 70 AD. The Magi knew when Jesus was born as King. Did they use the 13th constellation. When I look at ancient Sumerian pictures of the solar system and planets. Or is it the morning star. The same star a person puts over a Christmas tree.
Why did the Pharisees think Jesus was almost 50 years old. Who reset our calendar so Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD. Our calendar was reset and counted backwards. Was it reset by 20 years to have Jesus show up at 12 years old and age 30.

      Matthew 24:15
the disgusting thing that causes desolation: Daniel foretold that “disgusting thing(s)” would be associated with desolation. (Da 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) Jesus here indicates that “the disgusting thing that causes desolation” had not yet appeared; it was to come in the future. And 33 years after Jesus’ death, Christians witnessed the initial fulfillment of this prophecy when they did catch sight of a disgusting thing standing in a holy place. The parallel account at Lu 21:20 reads: “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by encamped armies, then know that the desolating of her has drawn near.” In 66 C.E., pagan Roman armies surrounded “the holy city,” Jerusalem, a place that the Jews viewed as holy and that was the center of the Jewish revolt against Rome. (Mt 4:5; 27:53) Discerning Christians, who recognized that the Roman army with its idolatrous banners was “the disgusting thing,” took it as the final signal to “begin fleeing to the mountains.” (Mt 24:15, 16; Lu 19:43, 44; 21:20-22) After the Christians fled, the Romans desolated both the city and the nation. Jerusalem was destroyed in the year 70 AD., and the last Jewish stronghold, Masada, fell to the Romans in 73 AD. (Compare Da 9:25-27.) The detailed initial fulfillment of this prophecy provides a solid basis for trusting that the greater fulfillment will also take place, culminating with Jesus’ “coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Mt 24:30) Many ignore Jesus’ statement that Daniel’s prophecy would be fulfilled after Jesus’ day, and they follow Jewish tradition in applying Daniel’s prophecy to an event in 168 B.C.E. when Syrian King Antiochus IV (Epiphanes) profaned Jehovah’s temple in Jerusalem. Antiochus attempted to stamp out the worship of Jehovah, even building an altar over the great altar of Jehovah and sacrificing pigs as an offering to the pagan god Zeus of Olympus. (See study note on Joh 10:22.) The apocryphal book of 1 Maccabees (1:54) uses an expression similar to the one found in the book of Daniel (associating disgusting things with desolation) and applies it to the event in 168 B.C.E. However, Jewish tradition and the account in 1 Maccabees are human interpretations, not inspired revelations. Certainly, Antiochus provoked feelings of disgust by desecrating the temple, but his attack did not result in the desolation of Jerusalem, the temple, or the Jewish nation.

I'm 33 now and went through a similar thing.. I left when I was 16, after trying on my own to go to the meetings with the 1 other kid I went to school with that was jw, my dad got remarried when I was 12 and my stepmom hated jw, so it made it even harder. I regretted it for a little while because I thought I had to be there, I downward spiralled all through my 20's and lost all communication with my family except for my mom and dad, who have both returned to the religion recently but we are still close. It wasn't until recently that I realized you don't need religion to believe in or be close to God, if you want to, the more important thing is to just be a good person. I challenge my parents on occasion in light debates about the hypocrisy and how it's all bs control tactics, but we always agree to disagree and move on. I can feel they aren't true believers because I usually make a point they can't or don't know how to argue and thats when it ends, they give up defending the faith. They were both disfellowshipped for over 10yrs and their parents did disown them until they returned, my one brother is in Bethel and he disowned our mom for a long time as well, I never got baptized so he can't get in trouble for talking to me (God that feels weird to say...) but we keep our communication short and nonreligious, but we hardly talk. Growing up a jw was harsh and still haunts me.

Whew this hit hard, in 6th grade the principal came in and asked who wanted to be in the choir, in my mind oh I can do that! Finally I can express myself. When 6 of us volunteered we went in the hall way and found out it was for the Christmas program. I was devastated, and turned to walk back in the class room knowing this is a no no. Well the principal told me to stay, and that I had to take part since I willingly volunteered. So, I complied out if fear, as it is all I knew. I did not sing in practice I just moved my mouth a little. A few days later, my Mom and older siblings were witnessing to another kid at my school that was at the house. They were explaining why we did not celebrate Christmas. Innocently he said well Kelly is in the Christmas program, and my Mom slapped me across the room in front of this poor kid. I could never get the words out to explain what happened. I just went into a shell of a person. Depression followed me. I have more hair raising stories but this one sticks in my mind. I always worried about that boy, and what he must have thought. I wish I could let him know that it was not his fault.

That's literally how the JW children are "trained" to basically convert everyone they can into the cult, starting at school, then changing to the workplace as they grow into adulthood. JWs will say that they don't "convert" people and merely want to spread a "good message" to their neighbors, but that is an outright lie. The sole purpose of preaching is to convert others into the cult, and if you are not getting anywhere in a Bible study (not getting someone to convert to being a JW), you are encouraged by the WT to drop the study as it's considered a lost cause at that point.

We were friends all through school. I kept her company through many activities that she couldn't do. It never seemed to bother her at all that she didn't participate. I'm surprised that her parents let her be friends with me, a worldly girl, but I was literally her only friend. It was super interesting growing up the friend of a JW. Saddest thing? I always thought she was an only child. It wasn't until we were in HS that I learned she had an older sister they were shunning. They never mentioned her. Ever. I stumbled into her room, carefully persevered. Thought she died but no... I was told that she decided to go to community college and date a worldly guy. And that was so shameful that it was whispered to me in their basement. That's kind of where our friendship ended. She went super JW after that and we lost touch.

@EL-IZ-at thank you for noticing, I have given over 65 years to the organisation until I could give no more. Looking back I now see how horrific a life a child has and so very isolated and never allowed to celebrate anything other than weddings. I must admit growing up it wasn’t as it is today, but on the other hand the physical abuse, a child suffered for not being able to sit still for a two hour meeting. If not, they were taken out and beaten. Thank heavens, that is not the normal anymore only because the outside world has spoken out to protect children from beatings not because the organisation have changed their ways. I am truly frustrated for the children of today as the growth is only coming from children born in so that’s why the indoctrination is getting worse. I understand your concerns, but it is important to remember that Jehovah's Witnesses do not forbid their children from playing with non-Witness children. We simply encourage our members to be discerning in the types of influences they allow into their lives. We believe that exposure to worldly philosophies and practices can lead to spiritual harm, so we encourage our members to associate primarily with other Jehovah's Witnesses.

However, we do not forbid our members from interacting with non-Witnesses. If a Jehovah's Witness child wishes to play with a non-Witness child, the parent may permit it if they deem it appropriate. Each situation is unique, and parents are responsible for making decisions that they believe are in the best interests of their children.

During my judicial committee the elders were counseling me about a good paying job opportunity. Saying that it could be a gift from Satan and that it would hold me back from returning to Jehovah. Due to the long hours and odd working schedules. Asking me if I would accept the job offer. Fast forward 10 years and now being financially well off my mom comes out and says " well you know son, you have to take this as a blessing from Jehovah that you have a good paying job and have the means to care of your family the way you do. I almost fell out of my chair! I stopped her right there and said.......NO! It was ME that applied for this position! It was ME that spent long ass hours working odd shifts to finally reap the benefits of all that hard work! All this time spent disfellowshipped and doing jack shit for the org and now I should attribute all this hard work as a blessing? Lmao! I told her the elders didn't think that this job was a blessing, and that her thinking was completely in contradiction to the council I was given. This happened to me as a child in the 90s but it was a school dance. The whole school went but my mom said no for the sake of being “no part of the world “ and not letting me hang out with worldly kids. I sat alone in my classroom beside the gym while I listened to everyone have fun and dance to music and after got to hear about all the fun that I don’t get to have. This would happen again and again with events that happened in the school and extracurricular things. I was NOT ALLOWED. Being a only child made it worse too. Not to mention the fact that I had to leave the classroom during anthem. I was also the only Jw kid in my school.
That day my isolation trama started or got worse. But I mention to my mom that I felt isolated in the Org and she has no idea what I’m talking about. 😢 witch makes me feel more alone.

A lot of us have gone through it. The worst part was that Mom told the principal and teachers in elementary school so we never even had a chance to participate if we wanted to. The worst part of it was that we were brought into it at about the age of 8-10 and had been celebrating Christmas and Easter and BD parties before that. They just didn't seem to realize just how much they were disrupting a life we already were acquainted with, for what? Loneliness in school, sitting for 5 long meetings a week, missing cartoons we were used to watching, holidays with family. It took me almost till the early 80's I was determined NOT to raise my children that way. Hopefully others find a way out. Bless you Wally.

I think it’s cool seeing gals with pink n purple hair, but oh no, yo’ azz would be dragged into ‘The Back Room’ for a chastisement session by The Elders ! I personally have been chastised, teased, even publicly humiliated on occasion by some of the elders because I hadn’t shaved in a couple of days.
That is what first got me to start questioning things. The unreasonable demands and fanaticism.
Living a virtuous life and learning about God and all is fine, but the problem with a high control religion like JW is that they “go beyond the thing’s written” and become extreme. That had to hurt and I am so sorry that you were treated like that. You don't deserve that. This Caleb and Sophia brought up so many emotions for me. Being sent to the library or sitting out in the hallway, while kids were having fun, really made me feel lonely and like an odd ball. It was tough. I apologized to our kids, I told them that we were sorry, if they ever felt this way. They have been gracious enough to accept our apology. We are now being treated like the leper in the story (we are not DF'ed, just faded). It truly amazes me that they put this story out there. How Jesus treated the leper, should ring a bell with JW's but it doesn't. The cruel way that a JW family treats those who choose to leave is truly amazing. Especially after WT put this in a publication.... "No one should be forced to worship in a way that he finds unacceptable or be made to choose between his beliefs and his family." Awake, July 2009, "Is It Wrong to Change Your Religion?"

I'm a teacher (and a former Witness) and the parents of Witness children who know this have specifically asked that their kids not be placed in my classroom. But teaching a very early grade I can positively say that children of this age accept most anybody. If you're nice to them, they will be nice to you. Also, during the holidays, I still give Witness kids stickers and such if they're in my class, I refuse to leave them out completely. I give them winter themed things such as snowflakes or snowmen instead of Santa and what not. I do the same with the children I know are Muslim, etc. But I do know some teachers who will purposely give them a Santa or a tree just to tick off the parents and thus, making the kids feel guilty about receiving something "pagan." I don't agree with Watchtower, but I'm not about to be disrespectful when it comes to a child. They go through enough in this organization!

No. But if I find love, I could die and not be missed by my family in paradise. I only half-heartedly believe, but the trauma is so deep I still fear it. What gets me, there are many other religions that don't celebrate Christmas, but they have other religious celebrations. Jew's have the Feast of Tabernacles, Muslim's have Eid Al-Adha, Hindu's have Diwali, etc. Jehovah Witnesses really are about no fun for children, because unlike other religions that don't celebrate Christmas, they offer *no* holidays or holy days or whatever for children to look forward to. And it is unbiblical. If Jehovah Witnesses don't want to celebrate quasi pagan Christian holidays, that would be one thing, but they also reject celebrating the 7 biblical feasts commanded in the Bible. That thing you said about attributing everything to Jehovah instead of taking credit and building self-esteem. I needed to hear that. I have long-struggled with setting and accomplishing goals as an adult, to the point where I avoid doing so. It clicked as I was watching this that this directly relates to self-esteem issues and all the subconscious baggage of being raised a JW.
This is why, even after being out for the better part of two decades, I still watch videos like this sometimes. I spent a little over half my life in and I’m still learning how let go of all the programming.

    • @BuizelCream
      @BuizelCream 9 месяцев назад

I totally understand where you're coming from. The thing is, anyone can actually give Jehovah credit while having your own self-esteem at the same time. There is a reason why Jesus was happy even though he didn't credit all things to himself, because he knew he still has free-will to acknowledge that he has value.
The problem comes from the tendencies that these kinds of intuitive nuances are not always easily accessible in the general conversation spheres in JW gatherings. I can't say for every congregation worldwide, but it's generally a challenge for deep conversations like this to spring up and thrive, which should've provided a lot of great insights to how everything they learn connects and makes sense.
That's how we end up with parts of JW communities that are toxic because they tend to simplify complex reasonings as a crutch to wrap up conversations that could've otherwise open up for more nuances and interesting perspectives, such as the one brought up above. A lot of self-esteem issues JW tend to experience stems from this very problem, daily conversations that are oversimplified, overgeneralized, which leads to misinterpretations and misunderstandings galore, which ofc can directly impact relationships that harms one's self-esteem.
In short, JW individuals everywhere really must hone to be vulnerable and be responsible how to handle difficult topics towards their fellow members, especially since some Scriptural passages actually encourages this type of healthy introspective behavior in the first place. Did you know? 🤔
Funny how human imperfection still tend to screw these people up as much as everyone else... but JW peoples are held to an even higher standard due to the claims they uphold. This is why it's important for JW to stand out in a more exemplary way, such as knowing how to handle self-esteem and mental issues for their fellow brothers and sisters as if it's commonplace to do so, cause you know, that's part of showing how love works.

And earlier in my life when i had disassociated myself for a few years and saw my sister at walmart she walked right by me as if i didnt exist. After spending our entire childhood together and living in the same home for 15 years... it doesnt make ya feel very good about yourself and thats the point. They want to make you so miserable and alone that you have no choice but to come back because you have never been taught how to make real connections or how to get along in the world.

This brings back memories of the time where I would be the only person in the classroom who didn’t wear a Halloween costume. Even the teachers wore their costumes. I didn’t spend time with friends outside of school as much as I wanted to, receive gifts; do as much extracurricular activities as I wanted to, get a normal simple job as a teen…all bc of what this cult taught me!

I noticed the language was never "it's okay to be different." It was "following Jehovah makes you different, but special."
The language every time is about Jehovah making you special.

1 Corinthians 1:21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not get to know God through its wisdom, God was pleased through the foolishness of what is preached to save those believing.
26 For you see his calling of you, brothers, that there are not many wise in a fleshly way, not many powerful, not many of noble birth, 27 but God chose the foolish things of the world to put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world to put the strong things to shame; 28 and God chose the insignificant things of the world and the things looked down on, the things that are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 so that no one might boast in the sight of God. 30 But it is due to him that you are in union with Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom from God, also righteousness and sanctification and release by ransom, 31 so that it may be just as it is written: “The one who boasts, let him boast in Jehovah.”

Oh and I will always remember this wonderful Bible passage: “Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels” (Luke 9:26). Meaning, if I can't handle being a JayDub at school, when life is okay-ish, there is no possible way I could maintain my faith during the Great Trib, no way I'd survive Armageddon. So why bother being alive?
Sometimes I can't believe I didn't follow through with suicide. I came so close multiple times thanks to Luke 9:26 and other things.

My ex husband was a JW before we married. He was never baptised though. Needless to say his family did not like me at all because I took him away from Jw. He joined the military which they said I influenced him to do. I went with him a couple times to a service but I did not like it all. Im Pagan now, they would really hate me now. He never went back to it though but i think he always felt ashamed of leaving. We have a son and I would not let his family ever be near my son alone to try to influence him. I have such anger towards this religion.

Daniel 12:1 “During that time Miʹcha·el will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of your people. And there will occur a time of distress such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, everyone who is found written down in the book. 2 And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up, some to everlasting life and others to reproach and to everlasting contempt. 3 “And those having insight will shine as brightly as the expanse of heaven, and those bringing the many to righteousness like the stars, forever and ever.
