I am continually amazed at the plethora of things that folks in these Accu-Stats videos seem to find fault about and criticize. Everything from how the commentators speak, to how bad the camera angles are. And then there are idiosyncrasies of each player. Those critiques are endless. Listen, if one loves the game of pool then it would seem that these ‘smaller’ things would be far outweighed by the enjoyment and pleasure that watching the world’s greatest play brings. Seems like that if you love some thing or some one, then you learn over time to make allowances for those critiques knowing that the good and pleasure they bring you far outweighs those smaller things. I’m willing to watch a little ‘magic’ on the table, and endure a little ‘nose picking’ at the same time. I am grateful for these videos and all of the efforts that so many put into them.
This is back when people knew how to create a proper arena and atmosphere for the pool world. I like the arena space and how far the audience sits. This is how every pool arena should look.
I'm seeing some of the comments about too much commentary. For me, as an aspiring pro, I love hearing the discussion on shot selection, methodology, shot process and pattern options, love the commentary! That last rack is what's great about 8 ball. Under-appreciated game. To me, it's a lot like straight pool, strategic and a lot more graceful patterns than 9 ball in my opinion. 9 ball is fun too, especially for safety play.
What an absolute clinic on how to play 8 Ball fearlessly. I don't blame them for the way they played . I wouldn't want let my appointment come back to the table. If they're playing like that either.
Give me ball in hand with the shot described and I win. With ball in hand you hit the 12 to separate it from the 8. The cue ball is behind the 12, and there is no shot on the 8. Busty kicks into the 8 or gives ball in hand. Now that the 8 and 12 are separated making the 12 is easy and gives easy runout for the remaining balls. All 4 of these guys are not well versed in 8 ball. Any APA SL7 would know this shot and win the game.
Has anyone EVER played on a table that needs as much stuff picked off of it as Johnny does in about every match? I guess it's just a nervous habit. Great match. Too bad Archer was having so much trouble with the break. Busty sure as heck WASN'T. Wow. I think he averaged over two balls and maybe even close to three.
That second game win for archer Totally discredits those commentators who run their mouths and keep forgetting that Johnny's the one at the table because he has the skills to make the shots.
These commentators....unreal. The last game they are going on and on about how Johnny should intentionally foul and lock up the 8 to give ball in hand and then he can't lose. Anytime you give ball in hand, you surely can lose and are not the favorite! Come on....even if the 8 is frozen against another ball, Busti would have a plenthora of defensive options, including leaving the cue frozen behind the 8, forcing a kick.

Love the commentary especially on the last match! Nice to hear Tony's voice doing what he loved.
R.I.P. Tony A!
Archer taking 9 hours to take the shot
no doubt. and all that ' lint gardening' drives me nuts.
What a great match. Thank you Accu-Stats
How great was it. They both play 8 ball poorly…
As a beginner to intermediate player I AM THANKFUL FOR BILLIE'S COMMENTS AND EXPLANATIONS
If you encounter that situation, Defense will help you

johnny gotta be one of the hardest players to watch, the slowness and lint picking is old as the hills
Great match. Big fan of both players!
What an entertaining ending. 🤩👍🔥.

47:19 Gotta love it. ''It goes in the *UH-UH* upper left hand corner...'' lol

You can do it Francisco bustamante
56:34 plane goes "zoooom'. Nice to see grown men playing with their toys, too funny, and awesome 😎

I couldn't believe Johnny tried to run out the last rack after Bustamante rattled the 8. Billy's safety was the shot for sure.
Absolutely!

@@kenstrain4366 Yup and you're in the driver's seat on the three foul, agree 100%
Heck of a match right there. Wow.
Pat Fleming is the man! Thanks
What Was In Archer’s Glass??? 😃
Great match

What is Johnny Archer sipping on in between games?
it takes about half a day before Archer takes a damn shot hehehe

Great match, but couldn't stand it any longer and had to mute...
Billie C is tough to listen to for long.
William is a funny way to spell *_Richard_* 😆
Can't hear.

These commentators kill me. These are the best players in the world, have some faith.
It should be Johnny lint picker Archer instead of scorpion
RIP Tony

Sorry, don't think so, but maybe some of our stored matches from 25 years ago.. Maybe.
Tony who?
I would never go after the bank in that situation.
Am I the only one who thinks Tony commentates on the weirdest things, like the ball return system or the 8-ball being a neutral ball?

Audio is horrible
Had to watch on mute bc the commentators wouldn’t stfu….
Bill "never shuts up" Incardona
it is his job. lol
It's a talent. You cannot do that yourself
@@ruskyhrahsel7723 Certainly skilled at it
Drinking game! Take a shot every time Bill Incardona says "therefore".
That's what Bill does.
I'm curious what Johnny Archer is drinking? I can't imagine it's fruit juice in a tumbler.

I think Johnny Archer is an awesome pool player and has always been a great sportsman at the table but, 5min to take a shot? That's just not right.
a shotclock would have helped.
without shotclock its boring
8ball is supposed to be fun, but this was stressful to watch. 8ball is suppose to be a fun family game.
Yes, had to also mute. William defines the term _insufferable_
.
Bla bla bla my ears are bleeding
