Thank You, Thank You my friend, i have busted many bolts and had been searching the Internet on how to fix this problem for a long time now. I finally came across your video. I was so happy i did. Thank you for putting it out there. Detroit should be handing these brackets out for free to repair the problem they created on these older engines. I am definitely ordering 1. You are a lifesaver
Glad I can help appreciate you! You're absolutely right they should be giving it to us for free the with amounts of frustration and issues these things have causes on the road.
@lazaromariscal hey I got it on ebay. Here is the link. It works amazing and 0 issues since I've put it on. www.ebay.ca/itm/284820516760?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=n53fiCibQ7K&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I received my bracket today. I placed the bracket on and the 4 bolts on the opposite of the compressor did not align. I loosened everything like in your video. The bracket went in perfectly, it's just the opposite side the 4 bolts where it doesn't align. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Let me know. Thanks
@dktransportation9640 I'm glad you got it. Is your compressor an aftermarket one or oem? I remember i did have alittle trouble catching the bolts. Try catching 1 at a time and keep them loose so you can wiggle it around. Also try spraying some rust spray in the holes to free up some corrosion. If you haven't tried that already. Hopefully this helps.

The A/C bracket problem has been around since the early 90's. I'm suprised the factory hasn't upgraded that years ago. Good job.
Surprisingly they haven't, snapped way to many bolts going down the road. Thanks 👊
I just ordered it, I like that option
@@ruben74piedra glad it worked!

Good afternoon I have the same problem on my Detroit do u have a part number for that bracket?
Hello Mike. I just noticed that you don't have a belt on the a/c compressor. Will this bracket work just as well if you had a belt on the a/c?
Yes it will work! I wasnt using my a/c so I removed the big belt. But I'm going to put back the big belt for the a/c compressor in the summer
