@@MrSehka77 it was the fuse and corroded wire. It goes to the ecm. Starter and solenoid are good

@truckingwithmadmike2984 thanks for your help having the same issue with my freightliner checked both fuses aregood and still nothing wires appear good .truck won't start just makes that noise clicking no crank nothing . How did u fix it cut the wire were it was correded and spice back up and put new fuse ? Never had the issue again?

@MrSehka77 yep just cut out where its corroded and splice in a new piece. Did you check if your solenoid is good?

@richforeverguapo8890 check your clutch pedal. Make sure its fully out. Also your gas pedal. There's a sensor down there you can try cleaning it. We've owned this truck since 1999

@@truckingwithmadmike2984 appreciate it but my cruise control works so I don’t think it’s the pedal but I’ll check. Also have you ever thought of getting a newer truck ?

@richforeverguapo8890 Sorry long day. Was thinking your cruise wasn't working. Perhaps it could be the switch or the jake solenoid. Noo I would never get a newer truck. Way to many issues with them. These trucks areso simple and easy to fix compared to the new one, these are real money makers.

Yes it will work! I wasnt using my a/c so I removed the big belt. But I'm going to put back the big belt for the a/c compressor in the summer

I received my bracket today. I placed the bracket on and the 4 bolts on the opposite of the compressor did not align. I loosened everything like in your video. The bracket went in perfectly, it's just the opposite side the 4 bolts where it doesn't align. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Let me know. Thanks

@dktransportation9640 I'm glad you got it. Is your compressor an aftermarket one or oem? I remember i did have alittle trouble catching the bolts. Try catching 1 at a time and keep them loose so you can wiggle it around. Also try spraying some rust spray in the holes to free up some corrosion. If you haven't tried that already. Hopefully this helps.

Can only imagine how intense that lot must be with them all firing up. This was an extremely cold day but she fires up like a champ. My N14 is a different story
