Yeah, that whole sequence was extremely cool. The pillars were so alien that they violated the very laws of the world, literally existing outside it and forcing the hero to plunge into the void to fight them off.

Fishing would be impossible since depth is considered for crates to be able to appear. also the entire world would need to be in hell level for the wall of flesh to spawn, which makes having a big enough fishing spot even more of a problem.
@@tiagocf1208 it would be possible? Depth is completely irrelevant for fishing, as long as you have 300 total "volume"(full tiles) of liquid which all is under open area(directly below air tiles) you will be fine. You can visit "Fishing" on the Terraria fandom wiki, it may be more clear
Awesome video as always :) Here are some possible challenge ideas (apologies if these have already been done): - Enemy spawn rate is permanently set to 10x (would obviously have to be journey mode only, but you could set restrictions on research) - All forest biomes are converted to corruption/crimson - Each biome is the size of a screen (could be arranged in a grid?) - You must stay in a minecart throughout the entire playthrough - World spawn is moved to hell (would definitely change early game progression, but I'm not sure how different hardmode would be. Would be interesting regardless imo) - No NPCs Anyways, keep up the great content. Just make sure to avoid burnout, especially from all the fishing :)
In theory, if fishing is required the minimum height would be the one required for a fishing spot with crates +1 for the hook. Other problem with fishing is that the world needs to be in the underword for the wall of flesh to spawn, and all water evaporates once it enters that layer If you somehow manage to do it without fishing, I think 3 with a 4 and 6 crevices for the golem altar and lunar tablet

One thing that would've saved a bit of time for Moon Lord is that it is possible to craft fragments. You can duplicate 3 fragment types and then use them at the Ancient Manipulator to make the last one (for example, Solar Fragment + Vortex Fragment + Sturdust Fragment = Nebula Fragment). This way you could have avoided going throught he Pillars all over again by just crafting a Celestial Sigil. Aside from that, GGs on finishing this run!
Now do it again but make the world horizontal. I'm joking. Thanks for this series. It's been a lot of fun. Glad you stuck with it despite how difficult it got towards the end. Dying to the Moon Lord at the last second like that would've absolutely made me give up assuming I even got that far.

TIL: Moon Lord's eyes are roughly 3 tiles wide. Also, this is probably the only Terraria playthrough that mostly took part in the exact center of the world, according to the compass. Here's an idea for another challenge playthrough; The playthrough ends after x rare items have dropped; goal is to beat Moon Lord. I'm not sure how "challenging" this really is going to be but the idea is having to purposely avoid killing enemies and bosses in risk of them dropping something rare. The challenge can of course be adjusted to make it more difficult. Having it be "ends after 100 1/10.000 items drop" is obviously much easier than saying "ends after 5 1/200 items drop". Maybe someone can find additional requirements or ways of making it more difficult such as only being allowed to use certain items/weapons etc. but this is atleast a base concept.
If you're feeling especially masochistic and in need of a challenge idea, here's one: Risk of Rain 1 no damage run. One for each class. Either that or no items. Would be pretty fun!
There's this mod called "Advanced World Generation" You could use it to make some pretty crazy worlds, for example, combine For the Worthy with Not the Bees and the Drunk world seeds into one. That could be interesting to see
We did vertical, diagonal.... What about horizontal strip world? I don't think it can be done though.... Since you need underworld for EOW but also jungle for plantera. maybe you figure something out. Other idea: gear mismatch: can't use stuff from same source: no full sets of (the same) armor (so no set bonus)(can only get/wear 1 piece), can't use tools, armor and weapons if you have something else from that material (or source like golem loot). There's some good armor combinations (With the Barkeep armor chest for regen for example) but I think it'll be a challenge. Starting rule could be 1 of each item but can be less strict to can only have 1 item with you, but you can use a pickaxe first then throw it away for a sword of the same material. Again great content, thanks!
I think there are just some world design things that might have made this a bit easier, mostly lining the world with something non-corruptible, but this was still a really entertaining series

10:20 How does he get lihzahrd power cells? I thought lihzahrd enemies only spawn on lihzahrd bricks while you're in front ot natural lihzahrd walls? And I'm pretty sure this was recorded back before there was a seed that removed brick spawning requirement.

They should make a post moonlord item that stops the spread of evil biomes and corruption. make it cost like 100 pearlstone, 100 of your worlds evil stone, and like 10 luminite bars
I'd be curious to see a small world challenge like this or 1XX block wide but with the Terraria Overhaul mod that adds fire logic, see how often it would turn into a fire ball

now do this but the world is 5 blocks tall :troll:
I'm impressed with how much sanity Canadien has for this challenge. I'd give up even before WoF at this challenge
I have a small idea if you are up for it: maybe a world, that is really long, like a whole world, but only three blocks high? Idk, do what you will, I will enjoy it no matter what!
10:20 How does he get lihzahrd power cells? I thought lihzahrd enemies only spawn on lihzahrd bricks while you're in front ot natural lihzahrd walls? And I'm pretty sure this was recorded back before there was a seed that removed brick spawning requirement.
I never thought that is possible ! Keep up the good work!
I know someone got an item added to the game for them for being the first to beat Expert Hardmode Moonlord and not saying this is as hard as that but id love to see some items in game for people who beat Terraria in these stupid yet brilliant ways, like just imagine if they added say a Pickaxe that destroys blocks in a 3/3 cube for this series or something.
Ideas (probably bad ones):
Terraria but you can't use armour
Terraria but your legs are broken (no pressing the arrow/WASD keys or space)(maybe start with a grappling hook?)
Now it is time for short long world.
Good luck.
I have an idea for a future challenge world, hear me out
