Ahh finally an in depth review🙌🏻. Thankyou so much for this. And I’d really like you to do an explaining video on the fine tuning of the overdrive from the service menu. Thanks man!!
This is one of the very best monitor reviews I've seen. I bought myself a BenQ Zowie XL2411P over the internet (but haven't picked it up yet) but wanted to see its pixel response. Thank you, you're cool.
@@turloughconnor7387 I didn't pick up the order (xl2411P). It is clear from the review that the 2411P will also have a similar pixel response, while not having either G-sync or V-sync. Not worth it. Black Frame Insertion is not so good option.
Subbed and Liked! Fantastic video, love the detail. I just bought this monitor for my Xbox Series X that arrived today and this video helped reassure me I purchased the right monitor for me! Thank you! You deserve way more subs, keep it up.
As a 5 year owner of the RL2455S my best advice would be to put your console and monitor in “limited” rgb, that way the blacks look grayish but help a looot with viewing angles vertically.
Thanks for a great video! Please do an in depth tutorial about Hiden service menu for fine tuning! After your video I have bought this especially for FPS gaming.
I have this monitor and it’s good and I got it for the DyAc and was told it didn’t reduce brightness however that’s not true it does reduce the brightness, it’s the 240hz version that doesn’t not this 144hz one he has reviewed, so I would stick to DyAc High and AMA high. Setting DyAc to premium makes screen way to dim
Hey Techless, Would you recommend 100hz for strobing? I've found it to have the least overshoot but it's a little blurrier due to an increased response time. Would you also recommend 100hz without strobing? One other reviewer found it to have much less error rates.

Hello. I loved your reviews. Btw can you tell me which one is better? this monitor with AMA off vs Asus Tuf VG249Q with trace free 100. I am confused if i should go for ips or tn. Do you feel any difference Between These 2 monitor in terms of ghosting while gaming. If there is no noticeable ghosting, i will go for IPS i guess. So if you can help me out, That will be great. Thank you!!
For ultimate try hard: Tilt monitor in same angle as your keyboard for ultimate ergo! basically vertical! Make sure your playing on 400p resolution. And Zowie, is too much to ask for a bigger bezel. It's 2021 for christ sake!
So which one would you recommend, this benq or the asus vg249q? Im very competetive player on csgo and just looking for a worth upgrade to 144hz from my old 75hz
Hi,when you turn the Dyac on the brightness goes to 192 nits.İs it to dark ? İ think it is okey because the VG24Q has 250nits.Am i false ? i will buy the XL2411K but im scared because the dyac and the brightness. Can you help me please ?
I personally don't find a bit of ghosting too distracting. I mean I do see it, but I don't find it holds me back when it's under a certain threshold. And many fast IPS far exceed that threshold for me. I'd even argue some very fast IPS like the Asus VG249Q or Dell S2721DGF to name a few, even perform basically as fast as a TN panel.
Would you still recomment buying the ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q Monitor over the BenQ Zowie XL2411K if you want to watch some movies/youtube videos and game? Or is there anything new on the market in the same money range?
Honestly, I'd recommend giving both setups a try. DyAc has great motion clarity, but it's just not for everyone. Some feel a bit dizzy or even get headaches from backlight strobing.
What about the ASUS VG258QR which has a TN panel with 0.5 ms, 165Hz, and ELBM , would you consider that to be better than this zowie in terms of hardcore esports?
would you recommend the Asus VG24Q over this for a first time gaming pc owner? I can see a lot of negative points made here about the colour variance and curious which monitor I should go for.
If you're unsure whether you want to sacrifice picture quality for response time, strobing and other gaming related feature I would definitely go with the VG249Q instead. It's a much more versatile monitor.
Would you recommend this monitor or the Vizio 43” V-Series 4K UHD LED HDR Smart TV with Apple AirPlay and Chromecast built-in, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDMI 2.1, Auto Game Mode and Low Latency Gaming?? Suggestions would be great as I am a new gamer and Xbox series s is my first console.
I'm probably going to use this monitor mainly for gaming if i buy it but I also like to do some gameplays and montages but the fact that you pointed out that its not for content creation makes me question if I should look for other options. So should I look for other monitors out there or stick with this? If I should look for other monitors what monitor should I look for?
super late but if you had a second monitor i feel like it'd be less of a problem, especially considering if you're not doing any professional grade coloring it probably wont matter that much anyways. plus if it did matter that much, you could always rely on your scopes instead.
Loved the video! Could you do one on the BenQ Zowie XL2546S? It's very hard to get your hands on but i would love to see your recommended settings for it and a in depth review :)

Hey bro. Awesome review. I'm really considering this monitor because I mainly play COD Warzone and I've read that playing on the 240Hz version is a bit technical in terms of dyac and matching the framerate. What's your warzone experience like on this monitor? I run a 2070 super so I'm hoping the framerate won't be an issue with this 144Hz version. Also how is the smoothness of the gameplay vs playing with Gsync? A lot or questions lol hope you see this 🙏 thanks again for a super review 💪

I am looking to play competitive VALORANT / do a little music production / watch youtube and do general browsing on this monitor.
