    Honestly one of the best reviews I've ever seen for gaming-related hardware bar maybe rocket jump ninja's mice reviews. It's refreshing hearing an analysis from someone who actually games competitively and knows how to make full use of all the products features. Dismissing nonsense statements and advice from other reviewers is also a nice bonus lol. Subd

    Dude. When I watch other people reviewing products, they waste like 10 minutes on filler so they can get ad money. But you, you get straight to the point without adding filler (how is this possible, I don't know). This is the first review I have watched and fully enjoyed :). Keep up the great work.

    so just an update. I decided to order the BenQ directly from them as they don't charge tax or shipping. I also ordered a EC2-A mouse, a Corsair K63 TKL, and the Corsair MM300 3 ft mouse pad. I'm really looking forward to the new setup because I have been using the Steelersies Rival 300 mouse for a few years and feel that it's weight and large shape has really been hindering my performance. I feel like im a few years late to the party though lol but it's proven setup still rivaling new tech. I'm almost considering buying a lightweight mouse also like the Glorious PC Gaming Model O

      Happy for you man! Also, for the mouse I would recommend returning if possible. Nothing wrong with it; I had one a few years ago when I was trying to go pro in CSGO. My first video on this channel is of the Logitech G Pro Wireless which I think is much better than the EC2-A. However, if you're happy with the EC2-A, game on!

    I have a Acer 165hz monitor (my main one), a AOC 75hz monitor just for discord, google, music etc and I have a tv that I use as a third monitor which I don’t use really (the tv is on high up on my wall). But I have been wanting a 4th monitor now and at first I was gonna get another 75hz monitor, was probably gonna be the same AOC monitor. I have no more room on my desk so where else to go than up, gonna get a vertical double monitor stand and before jumping the gun and buying everything my friend told me why not upgrade my main monitor instead. So I was looking around for 240hz monitors that is also 24 inch because that’s the rough size of the rest of my monitors (not including the tv) and I couldn’t find much except for this bad boy, it’s perfect, reviews are great, not too expensive and perfect size. Ps. Very nice review and you made me one step closer to buying this beauty

    I am currently stuck between purchasing this monitor, or one of its predecessors made by Alienware (AW2518H). I currently have a 60hz BenQ that I have had for YEARS and it still looks and functions like new. I just can’t decide between the BenQ or Alienware. They are both near the same price, the Alienware being slightly cheaper at the moment. The only thing holding me back from purchasing the BenQ outright is the fact that it was made over 2 years ago now, oppose to the Alienware coming out around 10 months ago. As somebody that has owned the XL2540 since near release, can you say that to this day it still functions the same if not better then competing monitors of its class? That is assuming you have tried other 240hz monitors. Loved the vid man, keep it up👍🏼

    • @BijanJamshidi
      @BijanJamshidi  5 лет назад +2

      The monitor still works as good as it did new. Absolutely no issues or any glitching on the display. Although it’s been a few years since it’s been released, there isn’t going to be anything to replace it anytime soon, at least I don’t think. There are going to be 2K 240 Hz options in the near future which could replace 1080p 240hz down the line, however those are going to be much more expensive. In terms of this compared to the Alienware, I would recommend this even though it’s older mainly because of the feature set.
      And thank you! Thanks for the support!

      @@evan5787 Well according to most people who have tried BenQ monitors, its the best theyve ever had. Ive never tried the XL2540 before but so far the Alienware has been great. Ive had 0 issues and my aim has definitely improved. The only thing is, like I said, I want to try a higher resolution. If youre into gsync and all of that type of stuff, I wouldnt be the best to ask since I turn it off for the lowest possible input lag. But overall, this is 100% the best monitor Ive ever used so far. Brother, first of all, I never comment on youtube videos, but thanks for the video, I've been wanting to save up and get a better monitor, I currently own a acer predator(144Hz) and your video was very brief and clear/concise. As a competitive cs player(global/faceit 10) I appreciate this video so much, you mentioned cs and we all know cs is one of the few games nowadays that can run consistently at 240+ fps on a reliable basis. Couldn't find a good review from a real competitive gamer, I could only find the "look at me playing doom with 150fps and blindly shooting at half of my screen", the "wow it's so smooth compared to my 10 year old 12inch 60Hz monitor", the "It's so expensive and it's not even 4K, how am I gonna watch my porn now?" or the "It's too expensive, don't buy it, instead buy a monitor that's 200 cheaper with trash response times and terrible input lag" gamers, because youtube is filled with casual players that play games in ultra settings that can barely push 144 fps and they are all constantly talking and complaining about viewing angles and color accuracy, and even the fact that it's not a 1440p native monitor, I mean the people that are gonna buy this monitor aren't gonna play games on ultra settings at 1440p and play at 120-150fps, they usually turn everything on low settings on every game, possibly even lower the resolution to get 240 fps and really get full advantage of 240Hz. Again, thank you for the review, it really was great, you should do more!

    Which one is best between Asus tuf vg259qm or xl2540 or Alienware 25 AW2521H for all competitive ? Doesn't care angle of view or colors or another features. All important thins are refresh rate, performance, ghosting, input lag, clarity etc. etc. Mostly my pc will give like over 200 fps. Average 250 fps in games ? What do you think ? As a last question asus has pretty low input lag at native resulation at his max refresh rate but has pretty high for 60 herzt range. I think this 60 hertz meaning is not at 60fps right ? Just when you take it for console or at 60 hertz you will get high input lag for asus right ?

    bought this one now 3 years later and i gotta say it's true. it's insane for games like csgo or valorant but for desktop/working/surfing/videos/movies or every other game which isn't a fast paced shooter it's close to trash. guess i'm going to return it for an IPS 240hz, even if it hurts cause i play alot of cs but i take the trade being 1 rank lower for having a better experience overall. Maybe even a 144/164Hz IPS is enough, since cs is literally the only game i get 300 FPS+

      @@lolclips6480 i returned it for an IPS monitor ( nitro acer nitro xv252qf ) which has 360hz and even can go up to 390hz, if you manage that many FPS in shooters like CSGO or Valorant it's literally the same as the BenQ since it got good response times aswell. on top of that it's cheaper and way better for single player games. i would say the benQ is good but the acer nitro xv252qf is way better for me, it even got backlight strobing (VRB) which is the same as DyAC from the BenQs and it works really well

      the XL2540 has DyAc but without the voltage boosted strobing, basically unlike the XL2546 where you enable DyAc without losing brightness the XL2540 will get dimmer, also DyAc or any strobing technologies require a HZ headroom to function properly after tweaking, i tweaked by my XL2546 to 180Hz with a high HT/VT and i'm getting CRT like motion clarity, i'd personally go for the XL2540 and tweak it, you can enable DyAc in the hidden service menu.
