What would you recommend for non competitive eye candy gaming?
@@TheFunLuvnCRIMINAL LG OLED CX 48" is undisputable for eye candy and a very good gaming performer too! Saving up for one at the moment.
imma be the 1st dislike, even though i like your videos.
Nooooooo!! HAHAHA
your backstory just gave me 120% confidence in your review, from the 100% it was already at.
the "irrelevant backstory" is the main reason why i trust what you are saying in your videos, the other tech youtubers dont have a competitive backstory, would love to see some valorant streams or videos also.
I plan on streaming a lot when I quit work for RUclips if that comes. I just don't have the time now I feel like and don't want to add more to my schedule. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm constantly weighing the pro's and cons and re-evaluating.

Like what you did with the pixel response time as a graph rather than a one by one measurement. You keep getting better and better everyday
Great review, its really cool how you don't forget the 'smaller' features in your monitor reviews, like Black EQ or color vibrancy, I feel like stuff like that is important and usually gets neglected in monitor reviews.
Also, I did grab a S2721DGF after watching your review of it, and it's been absolutely fantastic in every way (save for a bit of yellowish tint when I first got it, but I fixed it completely by toning down the green in the RGB settings (and also red a bit) ) , so thanks :) , I'll definitely be looking out for anything you put out, this channel is quality.
This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for. My brother is so happy with it. I can’t believe how clear it is playing on it!
OMG! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!
More digestible than Gamers Nexus and more relevant information than LTTs average video. Keep up the great work! Would like some more eSports stories one day.
Great review, didn’t skip your back story, amazing. 100% The best reviewer for competitive. Thanks
Great vid man! Keep it up. I love how you always go into depth on the pros and cons.
Underrated channel. Most quality and in detail review of a product I've seen in a while. You're gonna blow up
I was hoping that " You can finally buy" means that the price of the monitor has dropped so that more people can afford it. LOL

Been waiting for this one, good review!
Fantastic review! Great to hear from someone who knows what they're talking about. I'm noticing the 27-inch version did not make it to this K revision. Was hoping to buy it next year for a whole new setup. Maybe it's brought back as a 4K 240Hz sooner or later? Would be perfect for the older CoD games. For now I'm rocking my XL2410T!
Wow this is the best monitor review i've seen in a while, cuz any other review doesnt cover as much and precise as u do, specially on a gamer / elite perspective.
this is really useful, and really informative, even rookies will understand it, and i still remember how much regret i had after i bought my 27'' 1080p 144hz curved VA monitor for fps gaming cuz i didnt know anything about monitors and all those specs were so attractive in the eyes of some rookie xD it was such a pain, in the end it was only good for watching movies with friends
This man needs more subs!! Keep up the insanely impressive quality!!
Ty for the hard work you put into your videos
"The best 240hz monitor you can FINALLY buy"
My wallet: THERE'S NOTHING IN HERE FOR YOU TO LOOK AT!!!
Better start printing money
i would be carefull with the "best 240 hz" statement. the non dyac overdrive looks really bad on this model and alot of pros (especially cs:go pros ) dont even use dyac cause they get headaches
@@uwetriceps3036 There's a notorious korean review site stating that the G2G is as low as 1.16ms with AMA High and 1.14 with AMA Premium , if this is true then there is no monitor faster than the XL2546k in terms of response time, only OLED can do better, this might as well be the fastest LCD panel as of 2020. SOURCE : translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ko&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fplaywares.com%2Fdpreview%2F57942615%23&sandbox=1, RTINGS just purchased this monitor so you may have to wait a couple of months if you are looking for a review from a western site.
@@axaro1738 but all you need is to finetune the overdrive so it fits into the 240 hz window and get the least amount of ghosting/overshoot/trails while achieving that.. zowie literally blasted too much power into the panel too archieve this super low pixel response times and if you watch his overdrive chart, zowie literally created 3 shitty overdrive settings :D. if you use the highest overdrive on the newest tns like the acer predator for example you even get below 1 ms. that overdrive mode is def not usable (like all 3 modes of the zowie k ) but companies do that to use 0.5 ms or even 0.3 ms for their marketing. the thing is that the msi ips has actually pretty good non ulmb overdrive with just a little bit more blur but guess what, the 240hz ips have literally 0 processing input lag as far as i know. even the newest 0.5 ms tns (this zowie k model most likely has the same panel) have 2-3 ms processing input lag btw. so if you dont use ulmb/dyac and if you cant really tell that the msi has a bit more blur than the newest tns while gaming, its actually the superior 240 hz monitor overall

hey, us old people need all the help we can get!
I've had this monitor for four days now. The DyAc+ technology helps me stop DyInG in CS:GO. It literally looks like cheats the fact there's no blurryness when repetitive fire or even from a deagle's recoil.
lmao ya, im from the future and got a backstrobbed 390hz just recently, everything looks like smooth slow motion or something now, it's really something special.

Such high quality videos! Love it absolutely great work!
Great vid as always. One request is to either keep the monitor content on the actual monitor static while you’re talking, ie a desktop. Or... use post processing to display relevant content you’re talking about.
I was distracted by the demo video reel constantly running while you were on screen.
Either keep the focus on you or make the display emphasize what you’re saying.
Can’t wait for your next video!
Zowie monitors at its core is for eSports so you know they trying there hardest to make best of the best
Really good job man!! Nothing makes me feel more alive than competitive esports. So thank you for your research and explanation in keeping esports going...
Great channel! Thanks for the content 🙏
I can't order that monitor because no websites deliver to Hungary (europe)
Do you plan to compare this monitor to one of the new 360hz monitors or are you not touching those because they're IPS ("fast" IPS, but still IPS)?
I don’t care what technology they are. If they’re good, they’re good. And I have 2 special monitor reviews in the upcoming weeks. One of them being 360Hz.
Thanks for all the info!
Once again a great review!
Keep up the good content :)
I see an MMX 300 in that clip with Valorant, looking forward to that review :D
So this monitor is the best for competitive gaming and the second closest is the MSI MAG251RX. I think I'll go with the MAG simply because it's much cheaper and it has an IPS panel which will be better for media consumption which I will also mainly be doing. Really good review keep it up!
Asus Tuf gaming VG279QM is better,, has a frequency of 280hrz
@@tya90suisio cant see shit on elmb with the 280hz lmao

Great review as always!
So, I only play pvp on Destiny 2 capped at 120fps at 1080p. Would you recommend this model over ASUS TUF Gaming VG259QM? Basically, I'm wondering if the elmb-sync is better than Dyac... because I cant use freesync or dyac at the same ti.e with the zowie. I also read the Asus had better viewing angles.. not sure how much that matters
What did you end up buying?

What a review my dude. Thank you!
Bijan, so what would be the best settings? AMA: high and DYAC+: Premium?
I didn't see you included AMA: Premium and DYAC: Premium in comparisons.
Could you include ICC profile too for calibration?
bumping this, would love to know!
DyAc on any setting with AMA off is my preferred setting. Calibration profile will be in the description eventually. Keep checking and you’ll see it there, as well as all other monitors I haven’t updated on my website yet.
Dude I have this monitor and the Msi optix mag251rx 240hz in my Amazon list the benq is 20£ extra what shall I get? I have a 5900x and a 6800xt playing shooters like war zone fortnite etc

im glad i found your channel bc all i care about in reviews are esports perspective
Watching this on my 2546K! Thank you Bijan for another great video.
great monitor, but definitely not for me, because I don't play only fps games and I prefer IPS panel. and I think I will order vg259qm or mag251rx.
nice work
As far as I know, vg259qm has really bad color calibration... so if you care about gamut, accuracy, might not serve what u r looking for.
@@Gunbardo i believe he said in his revuew of that monitor that despite bad color calibration results, its still visuall great and as an IPS is better than the zowie
That is correct. However I posted in the description and pinned comment that I actually calibrated it incorrectly and the calibration was very good. Near perfect like the Alienware and MSI.
I was waiting for this one. Being a XL2546S owner i really wanted to know if i got kinda screwed over by buying the the monitor with benq discontinuing and announcing this new model only two months after it's release. I'm really glad that in my opinion that's not really the case since the performance seems to be on par with the the XL2546S. Correct me if i'm wrong but i believe both monitors use the same TN panel. As for the exterior, i kinda find the older design to be better looking and on certain points more practical (eg. the usb hub and the place of the headphone stand). Apart from loving industrial design anyways, i also kinda find the old design to be more professional looking for an esports grade monitor. However it must be said that the smaller base of the new model does provide some good space benefits. I kinda feel previliged now having the same performance in the older design which only a small number of people got to have.
Great video as always!
Definitely a collectors monitor.
S model looks to have better performance with AMA premium with Dyac+ premium, although the same panel being used. Idk maybe it's something to do with power consumption? S uses more power than K (based on Zowie's website), but I don't know if that's the issue. 55 Watts for zowie S and 40 Watts for zowie K.
Also, I'm an S owner. Felt really disappointed at first, when they cancelled it, but now I'm really happy since it's a better model based on the ghosting tests.
I'm curious that they didn't post pixel response time for K model on Zowie's website, but for S it did..
Your reviews are amazing, they make me laugh a lot and enjoy how detailed they're 💖👏🏻🔥
The best review bro keep up the good work! ❤
I had it and sent it back. I liked the motion clarity (more so on 180Hz than on 240Hz), but it was NOT as obvious ingame compare to my Dell S2417DG and I just cannot stand 1080p anymore. I really tried to convince myself I need that esport motion clarity best monitor, but in the end it‘s just an heavily overpriced 1080p monitor with avobe-average motion clarity that gets lost in the ingame experience. I play only CSGO (global) and Valorant (for fun, diamond).
Hey fellow S2417DG user! Nice to see that some people still value 24 inch 1440p, I absolutely love it! If I recall correctly Bijan said positive things about it too, the PPI is amazing.
Would buy 24" 240Hz 1440p if one was released.
@@lepari9986 Same here, the same monitor with maybe a fast IPS panel at 240Hz would be a worthy upgrade. But everything else on the market in 16:9 seems more like a side-grade than an upgrade. Good thing is the investment in the S2417DG payed off even more the longer it stays on the desk. ;)
@@87detto yeah indeed. And now I have it in monitor arm but the aesthetics are nice too, not too RGB GAMING (although I realize that not having RGB is hindering my aim and FPS).
What resplution u play csgo on 1920x1080?
I have the samsung oddesey g7 27inch and find the game very gard to play good on 1440x2560 but the lower resolutions make it look kinda bad
@@lepari9986 There is 27" 144Hz 1440p monitor for 250 euros
BenQ is irreplaceable for Esports. Their bright TN panels and features are the best for competitive gaming. Using the XL2411 since 2016, that's almost 5 years now and not a single thing that's wrong with it. They don't have the best colors, but they can be improved with ICC profile. Their sRGB and Photo modes are pretty decent compared to their competition. Been using ASUS and MSI models, but they're simply not as good.
Just got my 2546k and I can safely say this is my end game. I have a PC that can run most games at 240 (aside form the open world type games.) and honestly this feels so good. Valorant Medium settings with 240 hz and 240 fps has never ever been so smooth.
The viewing angles are so trash
Thanks for the detailed review! It helped me what monitor I should be buying :)
Happy for you homie
Keep up the good content ❤️
I can't decide if I should get this or spend the extra $200 to get a new 360hz monitor... I find it hard to justify spending $700 on a 1080p monitor though, but I feel like it'll definitely be more future-proof. :(
I will be pairing it with a 1440p 27in monitor as well for casual gaming and general media consumption.
it's hard to get consistent 360fps even on games like csgo and right now i would advise against buying it + u can't get blur reduction on 360hz it goes max 240hz which sucks really
The 360hz is the most "future proof" choice easily , 240hz tn panels at 500$ aren't just justifiable imo. This Zowie looks ok but fast IPS got so good that i can't just say "buy the tn it's better"
Well that's because you are a casual gamer so...buy any IPS monitor...
Edit: 360hz are most likely to be TN so...
Edit 2: I would recommend you the Benq Mobiuz 24" IPS 144Hz is the best 1080p IPS monitor out there
@@soyezql They are IPS actually
