To those who are asking about the difference between DyAc and DyAc+, What I can say is that the difference is quite minimal and barely noticeable to the human eye, except for super competitive gamers who are extremely sensitive. DyAc+ is a little faster in terms of panel response and is built on the same tech as DyAc.
I’ll be honest... I came just wanting to know about the monitor etc... didn’t know I’d find a golden channel in the process. Genuinely love the atmosphere and presentation style! Especially your persona!
Ah, great were the days, when even a good 85Hz was better for fast gaming (arena fps: quake/ut), than the first 120Hz LCD monitors were. And the CRTs do still keep up!
@@charleshawk6668 when you turn on dyac it switches the profile resulting in going back into the settings and turning it back up. That’s how it was for me atleast

Might just be me, because I just stumbled upon this video, but there is no motion blur in CSGO. Neither will your crosshair get less blurry from Dyac, because its never blurry to begin with since its just a static image and isn't affected by mouse movement? So the conclusion seems to be completely off. Please do correct me, because I might have missed something. The only potential thing this helps with is blurry of the character models, but again for CSGO its not noticable, because your general movement speed is way to low for this to have an effect.
Going to replace my old acer predator wiht maybe another predator, EIZO but found XL2746S as interesting too. the acer and benq are in the same pricerange but the main difference it looks to be, the gsync vs ULMB/dyac+. Any Advices? Playing EFT,COD,PUBG a couple of hours/day.
Serious question here: Isn't it really dumb for a 240 Hz Monitor NOT to have G sync or Free Sync? Because I doubt that constantly having 240 fps is achievable.
You dont need or want Gsync on it will ad lag. Disable Vsync in the game settings and let the monitor run 240hz and not worry about syncing the game to refresh. You won't notice screen tearing and will be rewarded with faster response times.
wtf > G-Synd and FreeSync are the same? One use a hardware solution to solve the synchronization build inside the monitor and only compatible with Nvidia drivers The other is simpler/cheaper solution that solve the issue inside the GPU and both company share the drivers to work the decoding. Freesync is cheaper to implement and Nvidia more expensive, both fix the issue but some would argue Nvidia does it better (works out of the box) but with that extra cost arrive from the microcircuit inside the monitor. Saying both are the same is like saying a mechanical keyboard behave just the same as a membrane keyboard.

If you game on PC and depending on the game and graphics card you're using, 240hz is 100% achievable. Especially at 1080p.

Does Dyac+ flicker on other cameras? Specifically on XL2456K?
It only does that when we're shooting in slow mo because of the faster Shutter speed that we use. Your eyes won't see it if that's what you mean.
